Oct 20, 2011On Friday the 23rd, Emails stopped getting pushed down to my device.In the Gmail account access logs, you can clearly see "68.171.236.171" checking in every so-often, and that IP resolves to bda-68-171-236-171.bise.eu.blackberry.com, so the Gmail-BIS link is (homefully) working.After two phone calls to O2, they have told me that there are "500 emails in the queue" to go down to my device. Well, where the hell have these come from, since I have around 180 emails (GitHub and Heroku post-push and post-deploy hooks) waiting in the inbox, and so I am left wondering where the 320-ish emails have arrived from in the BIS queue.Anyway, the person at O2 told me to delete all of the emails off of the device as it may be too big for emails to be pushed down. She also said that if it didn't work I would have to take it back into the shop I got it for repair. Big unhappy face since the shop we got it from is quite a long drive away and I will be without my phone on holiday next week.

Jan 3, 2012I can send but cannot receive gmail emails on my blackberry torch. The phone says the email is setup and is sending fine but when I send test emails to it I get a MAILER-DAEMON failure notice.
IMAP is enabled and have followed all the gmail instructions and blackberry helps guides but I think I am missing something. The extension of the email is not gmail it is my company name [URL] I cannot receive my work emails on my blackberry which is make life so difficult!

The company I work for does not have a BES server. though other people have successfully added their outlook accounts.Some said this maybe a restriction on the sim card. should I ring.The phone was not bought on contract. I go to the set-up wizard as per usual and I'm told to "move my email accounts to receive emails to my new device" It tells me to insert my password, which I do. Message pops up saying the password has been verified. Then that's it. It just then has the option of returning to setup options. I go to my Messages folder and its tells me that no message services has been configured and it all starts again. My Facebook messages are in there but no hotmail.

Feb 17, 2010I have Nokia E71 with latest NMessaging (9.06.24) installed. It worked like a charm for the last 1.5 months but on Feb. 5 Inbox stopped syncing. I have the only mailbox on Gmail connected. The connection icon is green and round as it is supposed to be. Manual Sync clicking does the icon rolling and then nothing happens. My new incoming emails are not in the list. Sent folder is synced just fine. Previous e-mails also work perfectly as I can download truncated messages and attachments. Gmail's own app works perfectly and downloads all new messages.
Nokia, what happened? If you intended Eseries as a Blackberry competitor it is the worst move to disregard the key functionality like emails.Also I purposefully don't want to reinstall anything. Why should I? It is a branded service that must work without "surgery" of any kind. How I can rely on such service that giving no warning just stops working.
You should concentrate on this very important issue and provide you official solution.

Apr 10, 2010On my 9700 (5.0.0.405), I have my Gmail acct with the enhanced plug-in. I've noticed that when I send an email from my phone, the sent message does not show up in my Gmail list. It *does* show up in the main Messages app. And when that person replies, it shows up as a single email (i.e., doesn't group and show 2 emails with my original). Is this normal? Did it start with BIS 3.0? I can't recall whether it did this prior to 3.0. I also have a Yahoo account, and when I send mail from that, it does show up within the Yahoo Messages app (with a check mark next to it). I also looked through options and "Hide Sent Messages" is set to No.
