I have two email accounts set up to show on my blackberry, since yesterday I have received no new emails showing on my phone. I have tried to access them via the set up "Internet mail account" but it comes up with your device had a problem connecting to the server. Is there an issue with the phone, blackberry or my service provider?
Nokia messaging decided to stop receiving emails last week, even when i clicked send receive. Yesterday i reflashed and today i deleted and readded the email accounts on the email.nokia.com site. My emails came through and i thought it was fixed, and now, just half hour later, it's stopped receiving again.
On Friday the 23rd, Emails stopped getting pushed down to my device. In the Gmail account access logs, you can clearly see "188.8.131.52" checking in every so-often, and that IP resolves to bda-68-171-236-171.bise.eu.blackberry.com, so the Gmail-BIS link is (homefully) working. After two phone calls to O2, they have told me that there are "500 emails in the queue" to go down to my device. Well, where the hell have these come from, since I have around 180 emails (GitHub and Heroku post-push and post-deploy hooks) waiting in the inbox, and so I am left wondering where the 320-ish emails have arrived from in the BIS queue.Anyway, the person at O2 told me to delete all of the emails off of the device as it may be too big for emails to be pushed down. She also said that if it didn't work I would have to take it back into the shop I got it for repair. Big unhappy face since the shop we got it from is quite a long drive away and I will be without my phone on holiday next week.
I have my BB Curve 8520 activated for Enterprise Activation through the BB Desktop Software and have been getting my Business mails in my Inbox and was able to send outgoing messages too. This was working fine only for few hours yesterday and then the incoming emails just stopped. I have started using the BB only from the day before yesterday and think I have selected/deselected some option.
I wiped my phone because i had to reinstall the bolt browser ,don't ask it was just a recomendation someone gave me. But i'v enoticed my emails are real slow to get through and the smae thing with the speed in which my text are sent out> What do you guys figure it could be?
I have a user who, around the time of the big RIM outage, lost the ability to receive emails from her work email. At the time I just left it alone since I thought it had to do with the outage. However, she still isn't receiving emails. I've tried to troubleshoot this by re-creating her account but I keep getting authentication failures that get delivered to the users mailbox. She contacted her provider and they were no help. I've also tried setting this up on another phone and run into the same issue. As far as the server itself, there hasn't been any changes at all.
I have been using gmail on my blackberry for a month without problems, it just comes straight to the inbox on the main screen of the phone.Today my Blackberry stopped sending emails but still recieves them. When I try to delete anything in the inbox, it merely gives them a "yellow" star but does not remove them
At 4:30am this morning, my email was working as normal, but when I checked again at 7am, it was not receiving emails, although I can send them to myself. I had my wife try from her work email and I have gone to my laptop and all email functions are normal. Do you need to know that I am on Verizon.
My blackberry has suddenly stopped sending & receiving emails, cannot work out why, have not changed any settings. When I took it in to the T-mobile shop they said I needed to install some updates, which I did, but it still isn't getting or sending any emails!
my blackberry curve has stopped receiving emails and i can't browse the internet , i'm not using a blackberry package at the min just WiFi, i wiped my phone and now when i try to set up my email it is asking for a "Enterprise Activation password" and i can't go on till i have one. and the browser still isn't working
My Curve suddenly stopped receiving text messages and it shows I have email messages, however, I am unable to access them. I also have lost the ability to send text messages and emails, as well.Tried removing the battery and resetting that way, and have also done a soft reboot per AT&T's instructions.AT&T has also reset my registration (or something like that) and have verified that nothing in my service plan has changed.
I seem not to understand but my blackberry 8520 device has stopped receiving email messages and I ve tried setting up another one yet its still not working. Username and password incorrect is what I always get as reply. Please can anyone help me out cos am seriously worried about this.
My phone keeps coming up with 'unfortunately, samsung galaxy has stopped. ' doesn't matter what apps are open or what I'm doing on the phone. I've stopped all running apps but don't know what else to try.
I had a Curve 8330 and had a problem with it sync-ing to my computer. Verizon sent me a new phone and it works fine. The only problem is that all of my old emails/texts are on the old device and I need them in my new device. Is there any way to download/sync the new device so that I get access to my old messages? Even if I could download/sync directly from hotmail.I would love to have my old BBMs too but that is definitely secondary.
I am having problems today with my 8520 Curve. I keep receiving a message from email@example.com informing me that my emails are not being delivered to my device. It goes on to tell me to turn on the IMAP setting for all mail on my email account and validate my account. Having checked, my IMAP settings are correct so I re-validated my Bkackberry and, for all intents & purposes the email account is now valid. However, I then shortly receive another message exactly the same from firstname.lastname@example.org. I have gone round this cycle 3-4 times now but am still not receiving emails.
The customer tried to sync his blackberry with blackberry desktop and few hours later start an amazing number of new emails into one of his POP3 mail accounts.the emails follow this problem http://www.blackberry.com/select/es/support/kb/internet/KB04254_-1.shtml so yes, the customer did install the desktop with BES option and he have BIS. carrier: Movistar - Uruguay Blackberry 8520 @ 4.6 few screens to be clear and help to explain as the previous link says i had:
- Uninstalled the Blackberry Desktop software from pc. - Deleted all Service Books - Whipe the phone (also third party apps) - Deleted the BIS Account - i did checked if it has the right configuration at admin provisioning site (was right,it had BIS) - Made a new BIS account - Added the two customer Email accounts - Restored the backup of phonebook, calendar, tasks, sms, email. My email messages stopped coming through the BB last night (bold 9700). I've sent out test messages and they go out, but nothing comes in.Could it be connected to the fact that my local server went down (but I received messages for quite a while when it was down, and now it's back up, but I'm still not receiving)
