depressing the unlock/lock icon is very unstable. Sometimes it works and it locks and then I can unlock it...very frustrating and drain on battery. It will stay working for about 5 minutes and then when I try either actions it won't work

I have a blackberry torch 9800, num locks and cap locks were working fine by holding aA or 123 keys on virtual keboard earlier. But all of a sudden (I still wonder why?) its not working any more, and is very frustating to press 123 or aA kes each time you need capital letters or numbers.

I dropped my phone not too long ago, and ever since the lock/unlock key on the top is very fussy and only works if pressed a certain way. I tried changing the lock button to the convenience key, and it works fine, except that there isn't an option to set it as the unlock key. Is there a way or program to set a key to unlock the phone? Or am I stuck using the dedicated lock button?

I can lock it with the "A" key, but I can't unlock the phone no matter what key(s) I press. The only way to unlock is to turn it off and then back on. I'm open for suggestions.

It feels somewhat sticky - the mute key on the right side makes a clicky sound when pressed down whereas the lock button just presses in without making any contact. I understand that you can set a password but that is rather inconvenient as you have to wait 1 minute for it to lock and every time I want to use the phone I have to type in a code. I can lock the phone by holding down A/* but then there is no way of unlocking it again. the phone came with the holster because that seems to unlock it for me - but this is obviously less than ideal.What can I do? Yesterday I wanted to unlock the phone and unlock switch literally jumped out. It doesn't seem to be damaged in any way. I tried to put it back without any sucess.
