I have the 9860, It goes off on a tangent, never keeps the wallpaper, had to delete battery indicator as it wouldn't charge. Now it doesn't like the screen lock I downloaded for fun, so it wouldn't connect to desktop for offload of pics etc.
View 2 Repliesdepressing the unlock/lock icon is very unstable. Sometimes it works and it locks and then I can unlock it...very frustrating and drain on battery. It will stay working for about 5 minutes and then when I try either actions it won't work
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhile I love the Hardware , Windows 8.1 and apps still make using the 1520 problematical, I've had it for about 9 months but will probably go back to IOS or Android when I hit my upgradability, about 4 times yesterday when I was at an event where I need to take pictures the phone using kept rebooting on me, it may have been the cold it was about 32 degrees, but it really makes it difficult to use the phone in meaningful ways when apps and the OS do not behave, and it's little things like the phone freezing, rebooting or becoming unstable that make it hard to stay with the 1520 no matter how much I love the HW.

The interesting part is that this occurs only if I do answer from the Springboard and NEVER if I pick the call up from the lockscreen. Once I turn the option "view on lockscreen" off under notifications - everything become in order again, no ringing after picking up, but I loose the advantage of having lockscreen's notifications.I am using iOS 5.1.1?

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. However, if I search for "ATM" (without the extra 's') I do get a map, showing me the nearest cash dispensers. I'd like to change that ATMs button to look for ATM instead of ATMs. Is there a way to do that?

Im having a few random issues with my phone for example the space button jamming and some infrequent and odd behaviour.I'm hoping that a firmware update would help sort most of this out but my phone keeps freezing and blanking out whilst attempting to update. I have the latest versions of PC Suite on my computer and my phoneI have the latest softwareI am attempting to update from version 21.024 (current) to 31.023 (update)During the update process, the phone freezes and the only way I can get the phone back alive and working is to take the battery out and re-insert.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI'm running the most recent build .591 and using skullcandy ink'd headphones. While I'm working out the audio will play normally, but as soon as I place the phone in my pocket it will cut out and then suddenly voice command will initiate. I do not have voice command mapped to either of the side keys. I work out in shorts and the pockets are pretty loose so I don't reckon any buttons are being pushed or the audio jack is being affected.
I tried replicating the problem by fiddling with the audio adapter, hitting random buttons, but it only happens when I place the phone in my pocket. The only other thing I can think of is that it has something to do with the light sensor maybe? Has anyone else experienced this?
Has anyone noticed their c901 when brightness adjusted to low, the screen blinks first 100% brighter when pressed/used from idle mode and then very slowly dimming to the adjusted low brightness setting? is this normal?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two minor issues with the car dock/ vehicle navigation app. 1. Can I turn off the autolaunch when the phone is placed in the vehicle dock? When I put the phone into the dock, the app immediately opens, and I don't want it to. If I already have Pandora or Navigation running , I want that app to stay up and running instead of the phone opening the car dock homescreen. 2. Can I have the home button go to the car dock home screen when the home button is pressed while the phone is in the dock? Currently,if my phone is in the car dock and I press the home button, it takes me to my regular home screen. To get to the vehicle home screen, I have to pull down the notification bar and select the notification. I am currently using GO Launcher, but I think the issue still occurs with the stock launcher.

It instead goes to the music library list and on top of that does not go the currently active album, but goes to the beginning of the list. Once in that state if you go back to the home screen and use the music shortcut instead, that too will mimic the widget behavior.The only way to correctly jump to the current track is to have the music player in currently playing view then go to the homescreen and use the music shortcut only. Then It behaves correctly.This is an annoying bug when one is listening to music all day at work every day.

I use my C3-01 as a modem on my laptop. Since i updated the firmware to 7.15 the connection doesn't stay for more than 2-3 hrs. It disconnects automatically. Sometimes even after a min. Earlier i was able to connect for even 16 hrs at a stretch.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy 32gb LG G3 D855 just keeps on lowering the volume by itself. My touch feedback sound is on and just a notch away from full volume. However, the sound is unstable in that it just lowers itself. I keep checking the setting but the level is just the same and not changing.
For example, one series of tapping on the screen has the expected volume. After some time, the next series of tapping on the screen has their sound feedback dropped by itself to very low. It is fluctuating and unstable.
Just now, I turned everything to full volume and tested things out. To my surprise, even my notification and ringtone volumes are also unstable. They go very low to hear at one point, then get back to being loud again. All by themselves. It came to a point where my ringtone is at maximum level, then when I tested it (tapped at the adjuster), the sound was very low. Then after testing again, it goes back to the intended full volume.
In summary, the volume just drops down by itself, then gets back to the expected level, then drops down again. Very unstable.
When I connect my Z2 to my WIndows 8 laptop through the USB cable the connection is unstable. The laptop recognises the phone and shows it as external harddrive in Windows explorer, but when I open the drive it does not respond. Then after a while it opens a new Windows explorer window with the phone's drive, but again I can not use it.
I've checked that I have the latest driver. And on my desktop PC with Windows 7 I have no problem.
For some reason my wifi connection is either very slow, or there isn't any connection. And when it does connect, it is REALLY slow, and then it drops.
I get really frustrated because on my other devices such as an asus notebook and a Samsung tablet it works like a charm.
I bought the Z2 for it's video camera capabilities I'm very surprised to find that there is no AE or AF lock on the Z2 for video. In video mode the camera is almost un-usable because the AF and the AE hunts around like crazy even in decent light. see [URL] .... Local Sony tech said that this maybe a faulty software design. I'm hoping the updated software supplied with the Xperia Z4 makes it's way to the Z2.

Each time the signal strength drops below 3G, the iPad does not automatically switch to 2G (Edge), instead the Internet access stalls, requiring me to switch off Celluar Data in the Seeing tab, the switching on again to re-establish the connection.
On receiving Apple iOS 5.1.1 update, point 2 in their splash screen acknowledges that this is this issue, but the problem still persists after installing the update.

Whenever I take pictures or video, if I do anything shortly (such as viewing the photo or exiting the camera) after it locks up the phone, and the phone reboots. I have done a factory reset, wiped the cache partition, my phone is not rooted, and the problem still persists. Is anyone else seeing this problem or have recommendations on a fix? This has made taking photos and video a rare task when I'd prefer to do it regularly, but I don't enjoy the phone restarting and losing the picture or video I took.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a N900 and have experienced unstable 3G data connection. Web pages at times won't open, take a long time to open, or simply timeout. Internet Radio re-buffering all the time.I take out the SIM card and put it into my N97. Internet connection seems fine in my N97 at the same location. I turn on the Joikuspot on my N97 (convert 3G signal into Wi-fi hotspot) and connect my N900 to Internet via wi-fi and the Internet connection on my N900 runs absolutely smooth. I can open different websites with Internet radio running in the background.
May I know if anyone can help me with this? I am running out of ideas. And I cannot carry both N900 and N97 at the same time like this to make Internet connection works for N900.
I literally drop EVERY WiFi call after about 5-7 minutes. I get an error message "WiFi Signal Lost". I would normally just blame the WiFi network I'm on, but it does it on multiple totally different networks (home, work, Burger King, etc...). And I know for sure both home and work networks are very stable and fast. Not sure what the issue is. If I go and view the network details of the network I'm on, the signal strength is typically between -40 and -75 dBm. While in UMA mode, the phone will actually go out of UMA mode sometimes for no apparent reason, and won't go back into UMA mode until after a few minutes. The worst part is that the Home screen says I'm still connected to the WiFi network, but the top right corner doesn't say UMA! It says 3G! And YES, my Mobile Network Mode is set to "WiFi Preferred". Even if I set it to WiFi Only, the top of the Home screen says I'm connected to the WiFi network, but the top right corner says OFF and the phone just goes dead!!
I use this phone for work and it needs to be reliable. Is my above WiFi Calling experience normal?? If not, does anybody know anything I can try? Are there some apps that conflict the with operation of the phone portion at all? I'm back to using the default theme now and it's still doing it... Should I try doing a factory reset? And, if I'm typing a long text or email and it does this total-lock up, I'll look up from the keyboard and see that none of my keystrokes were being echo'd onto the screen while it was locked up. But then it starts working again like nothing happened. BUT The strange thing is that if I'm typing while it's locked up, it doesn't appear to a buffer any of my keystrokes! (as opposed to on my old BB 8330: sometimes when it got bogged down because I had too much stuff running in the background, the keystrokes being echo'ed to the screen would sometimes slow down and lag behind my typing.... but it always kept track of what I typed and would eventually catch up.) HOWEVER, when my 9780 completely locks up like I mentioned above, it doesn't seem to recognize that I typed anything while it was locked up. when it "snaps out of it" and comes back to life, none of the keystrokes I typed while it was locked up are echo'ed onto the screen. I'm wondering if it's during these complete lockups that I'm dropping calls?

I bought a new sony spiro this weekend and so far has been a pain in the back. It resets when I try to access the camera, sometines it stops playing music at random times, or it simply stops reading my micro sd. Today I installed the newest firmware, but still the same problem continues.

The phone wil enter bedside mode and i get a message stating that the phone will not charge. I am able to charge the phone without the dock using the exact same cable.
