Nokia :: Space Button Jumping / Some Infrequent And Odd Behavior
Jun 1, 2010
Im having a few random issues with my phone for example the space button jamming and some infrequent and odd behaviour.I'm hoping that a firmware update would help sort most of this out but my phone keeps freezing and blanking out whilst attempting to update. I have the latest versions of PC Suite on my computer and my phoneI have the latest softwareI am attempting to update from version 21.024 (current) to 31.023 (update)During the update process, the phone freezes and the only way I can get the phone back alive and working is to take the battery out and re-insert.
The Music Widget does not jump correctly to the currently playing track when clicked on. It instead goes to the music library list and on top of that does not go the currently active album, but goes to the beginning of the list. Once in that state if you go back to the home screen and use the music shortcut instead, that too will mimic the widget behavior. The only way to correctly jump to the current track is to have the music player in currently playing view then go to the homescreen and use the music shortcut only. Then It behaves correctly. This is an annoying bug when one is listening to music all day at work every day.

I have a Nokia XpressMusic and I bought a memory card with (allegedly) 1.9 GB of storage, yet the card runs out of space when I use up a small percentage of space. I have formatted the thing, but still no joy.
Each time I go out and return to sit back at my PC, OVI Suite window jumps out.Now dear developers, if anyone reads it - this issue is dreadfully annoying and has been reported on many forums for a really long time.Yet on all the threads I've seen (at least here, at Discussions) I have seen no single entry saying "we will fix" or anything. If coding a simple checkbox "do not pop out" is really that hard, then at least say "we will not fix it". Just few words of information would be sufficient.
The core of the problem is that Viber keeps ringing for several seconds after the answer. The interesting part is that this occurs only if I do answer from the Springboard and NEVER if I pick the call up from the lockscreen. Once I turn the option "view on lockscreen" off under notifications - everything become in order again, no ringing after picking up, but I loose the advantage of having lockscreen's notifications.I am using iOS 5.1.1?
I have the 9860, It goes off on a tangent, never keeps the wallpaper, had to delete battery indicator as it wouldn't charge. Now it doesn't like the screen lock I downloaded for fun, so it wouldn't connect to desktop for offload of pics etc.
I quite like the 'Places' app that came with my Desire Z. It has a button called "ATMs" which is supposed to display cash dispensers in my local vicinity. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. However, if I search for "ATM" (without the extra 's') I do get a map, showing me the nearest cash dispensers. I'd like to change that ATMs button to look for ATM instead of ATMs. Is there a way to do that?
Scenario 1: When I receive an email in gmail and I access it on blackberry it becomes unread on blackberry and when I view it on a normal desktop pc internet explorer browser.
Scenario 2: When I do the same from another blackberry the email in the inbox of blackberry becomes unread and and the email in the inbox viewed on a desktop pc DOES NOT become unread. Why the difference and how can I get the second scenario to work for my first blackberry mentioned in Scenario 1.
I'm running the most recent build .591 and using skullcandy ink'd headphones. While I'm working out the audio will play normally, but as soon as I place the phone in my pocket it will cut out and then suddenly voice command will initiate. I do not have voice command mapped to either of the side keys. I work out in shorts and the pockets are pretty loose so I don't reckon any buttons are being pushed or the audio jack is being affected.
I tried replicating the problem by fiddling with the audio adapter, hitting random buttons, but it only happens when I place the phone in my pocket. The only other thing I can think of is that it has something to do with the light sensor maybe? Has anyone else experienced this?
Has anyone noticed their c901 when brightness adjusted to low, the screen blinks first 100% brighter when pressed/used from idle mode and then very slowly dimming to the adjusted low brightness setting? is this normal?
I have two minor issues with the car dock/ vehicle navigation app. 1. Can I turn off the autolaunch when the phone is placed in the vehicle dock? When I put the phone into the dock, the app immediately opens, and I don't want it to. If I already have Pandora or Navigation running , I want that app to stay up and running instead of the phone opening the car dock homescreen. 2. Can I have the home button go to the car dock home screen when the home button is pressed while the phone is in the dock? Currently,if my phone is in the car dock and I press the home button, it takes me to my regular home screen. To get to the vehicle home screen, I have to pull down the notification bar and select the notification. I am currently using GO Launcher, but I think the issue still occurs with the stock launcher.
My screen on my Iphone 3S is jumping ever so slightly, this just started, I have power it off and then turned it back on and its still doing the same thing,
My brand new iPhone is acting in an erratic way. She I push to start an app, something else happens. Other apps open (close), the screen jumps around, etc.
I have one question regarding the flashing light of the selection button. When mobile phone Nokia E52 is leave to close the screen light, the light of the selection button is flashing by one flash each 10 secodns, I mention cause are not missing phone or missing messeges. Is this flashing normaly or this menas somenting. On other models of this phone is the same, or I have to do something to close this flashing.
lately my nokia lumia 900 has been pushing the back button and home butting while i'm watching videos. its really frustrating when watching Internet videos and i already have to wait for them to buffer and if it decides to push the back button i have to wait again.
Samsung Galaxy S5--the keyboard recently started jumping up and down on the screen. I have tried a factory reset of the phone, but it didn't resolve the problem.
I updated to the 2.3.4 KG6 firmware and rooted with Chainfires kernel. I have now resolved an initial problem I had with magnetometer using GPS Status. But the GPS is still about 50m off at times and jumps about, a few hundred metres (sometimes it says I'm in the middle of the Mersey River, ha ha). I have Fasterfix installed but it's not making a difference and GPS Aids v3 doesn't work.
I'm having trouble with my new iPhone 5s, I'm using the latest software iOS 7.1.2.
I justĀ got the phone today and set it up no more than 2 hours ago And what im experiencing is when I scroll down the screen will jump back to the top of the page I'm on. When I do scroll successfully my finger remains on the screen but the screen keeps rolling down quite quickly. Pressing buttons sometimes won't register and when it does it registers on a letter or number near the one I chose, I understand it could be because I use my thumbs so I've tried index fingers and get the same effect.
Also dragging apps won't work as when I try to do it, it's like I'm removing my finger from the screen and the app jumps back to the original place.
I've done a hard reset soft reset wiped the phone started from scratch cleaned the screen even washed my hands, and still no solution.
Ok, today, I just started having an issue where my screen seems to jump around. I've had the phone since February, and no issues until today. I fear it is hardware, but want to try and get a second opinion. [URL] ....
My touch screen has been playing up for several weeks nowWhen I try to touch the main screen it will select an area to the right of where I am touching, i.e. clicking the dial pad button will actually select the contacts button, clicking 'answer' on the keypad will put the caller on hold etc etc. Other times the scren will not respon at all.
The funny thing is, when I remove the phone's plastic casing, the touch screen works fine! Similarly, if i push the top part of the case to the sides (so it is not in contact with the digitiser) the touch screen will work again until my phone goes on lock and then when I unlock it the touch screen is stuffed again.
I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware problem. On one hand its as if the plastic casing of the phone is rubbing (putting pressure on) against the side of the touchscreen and causing it to not work (hardware) while on the other hand it could be software in that the problem keeps happening everytime the screen goes to sleep (it's not initialising right). The other problem which started at the exact same time is that the green button is not working sometimes when I try to answer calls or turn off my alarm.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try? I've already done a hard reset. The next step is to buy a new digitizer/plastic case and see if that solves the problem.
I can't Press the Keypad button and Contacts Button.and the Icon do not appear. (sorry for the bad english)I tried Re-installing the Firmware (v31)But This is always Appearing
I have bought a new BB curve 9300 about 3 months and all of a sudden last night the trackpad started jumping around on screen. If I move it one place up it jumps down or to the right.
My touch interface is jumping around erratically and not sensing my touches correctly. iPhone 4s. The last thing I did was to install a backgammon game
