Phone broke, got replacement. email doesn't work on new phone. Don't know what my original blackberry id was. Won't sent password unless I know ID.
How do I find/change ID and password.
I just replaced the digitizer and the lcd screen with brand new parts but now the touch screen doesn't work.

The BB Protect 'help' says select RESTORE DATA but I cannot see this option, only the option to backup or achive. I suspect this maybe to do with the two different PINS for my device but dont know how to tell it that I have same number, same SIM but different BB i.d.

I have been looking for the 3 digit number in the red circle. Can you please tell me were to find these. I a have been up for 20 hours and I have steam coming out my ears at Verizon. I am not going to bother transerfering if it isn't the new phone. They are both refurbished.

Orange replaced my 5800 Music phone because it developed a fault. I stuck in the MicroSD card from my old phone which had all my music on it but the new phone won't play any tracks because the license is wrong.Do I need to redownload to my PC all the music I already have?Or can I delete all the tracks from my new 5800 and just copy from my PC to it and it will recognise the old tracks I downloaded for my old 5800? I can't just try it out because I'm away from home right now, I just want to know what I will need to do when I get back at the weekend.I really don't want to download all my music againg from Nokia because that site is so painful it's like sticking needles in your eyes.

Things will look quite normal, then randomly there will be symbols strewn in-between and throughout words and sentences. I have a problem with the headphone jack thinking there are headphones in it when they are not sometimes.I was wondering what I need to do leading up to and once I get my replacement? I have used the Desktop Manager Backup program to backup my files. That should take care of my calender, memo, contacts, SMS and any files and stuff on my device....but what about apps. That is what I'm unsure about. How well do those transfer since they have licenses/registration codes?I have bought DynoStorm, Fingerprint Scanner, PatternLock, WeatherBug Elite from App World. From what I have read all I need to do is start App World on my new device and those apps will load on the new device from App World without a problem? Is this true?I have bought BerryBuzz, Call Blocker Pro, Meter Berry, Mileage Meter, QuickLaunch and SmrtGuard(1 Year Subscription) from MobiHand. From what it looks like I can use the Change Device ID and it will generate new codes for me on my new device? Is this all I have to do? Can anybody verify this or tell me what I do need to do for these apps?I have other free apps but those I can just download again.The last thing I'm curious how it will transfer or if it will be a problem is my one theme I have bough Halycon from Elecite. How do I get that loaded onto my new device?If there is anything I'm forgetting to do with backups or apps or anything else I should do before or when I have the replacement let me know. View 4 Replies View RelatedOk guys...another gmail issue.i got my replacement bb storm in the mail...activated everything w success...restored using DM and it restored all my email accounts...said since i switched devices..i had to revalidate them all.ive got every one BUT gmail to validate..it keeps saying wrong name or pass...and i am 100% positive that they are being input correctly...casing is correct as well...i created another gmail account and it worked fine...i need my primary gmail account on this device!I am 1000% sure the email address and password are correct.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe have recently had to downgrade our cell phone service for financial reasons, and sprint does not allow you to downgrade from a everything data plan to a talk and text plan only if you have a smartphone.As a result I had no choice but to turn off the phone service on my torch and use a much older non smart phone. I only recently purchased the torch 9850 and still use it daily in wifi areas. I would like to know how it may be possible to still check my email on it. I know I have other devices ( kindle) that are able to access my email accounts without having to use phone service. I would also like to know if any of the instant messaging capabilities would still work, although that I understand not working more so than the email.

I have tried accessing via the setup menu, where nothing happens when I select "Email Accounts" (even after a hard reboot), and through the Options menu in the messages folder. When I access it from there I get a message that says to contact the service provider.

My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have got myself a blackberry and have been told by t-mobile UK that I am on a BIS account plan. I have set up my gmail email and emails come through nearly instantly. With my work emails I am not getting them instantly. Work does have a BES server and can give me a password to access their server but T-Mobile are using my webmail URL to connect me to the emails.
1) is this correct
2) Can we get rid of the time lag/delay in receiving emails from my work email address so it is more instant?

1. images are not automatically appearing (need to click get images)

After a short time on an Android device (which I quickly got rid of) I am now back on a BlackBerry. I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)
I have a new BES email so I had to wipe my blackberry account. How do I transfer my browser bookmarks from my old BES email? I backed up my blackberry before wiping and I have tried to restore just the browser bookmarks using the device restore select device data and settings, but the bookmarks don't come back.

I recently purchased a Blackberry Sync Pod and for some reason the phone will not charge while on the dock. The phone wil enter bedside mode and i get a message stating that the phone will not charge. I am able to charge the phone without the dock using the exact same cable. The retailer isnt willing to assist in this matter as they say it is something I need to take up with the manufacture.whats wrong or how to make the phone charge?

The rep on the phone told me that they're out of stock of 3GS phones, but my replacement would be shipped whenever they receive more. However, I know the local Rogers stores won't be getting anymore 32GB 3GS model in since we're so close to the new one coming out, is there anyway that they'd give me an iPhone as a replacement? Maybe if I renewed my contract?
