i bought my iPhone 4s from messed up my email on my phone so now i cant get apps ive changed my email on here and my password , but my phone still has the old one and when i try and get an app it & i type in my password it says my password is incorrect when it is.

I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. I have done a soft and hard reset (by removing battery) and have updated software but nothing seems to help.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIt's a really basic thing, i go into sounds and notifications, ringtones and sounds, email, tap on the email address i want to set, i change the notification sound to what i want, i hear the preview and i'm done. HOWEVER, it will not play that sound. no matter what i do it plays the little bike bell. I've tried to change it directly from email settings, no matter what i do the sound wont change and it wont vibrate. ringtone for phone and text, and everything else changes fine. just not email. i've rebooted, and cleaned cache partition.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have my work emails fed to my Bold and all has worked well until today - when I was required by my trusty employer to update my Outlook password. As I have tried to follow the instructions from Blackberry (the verify form message), I have gotten stuck in a loop. I go to "Setup" -> "Email account" and click on it. This takes me to "Email Accounts" where I choose option "Internet Mail Account" (it is not an Enterprise account). Click. Now I am back at the previous screen. This loop is nauseatingly repeatable. I have also noticed that, I can really lock up my phone depending on how I exit the Setup app.
Battery removing time. So I have also been trying to simply remove the email account altogether and have been stymied at that as well. I went to the folder for the Outlook emails, chose "Options" then "Email Account Management". And I always get this popup: "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider." Meanwhile, and just for clarification, the other email account (Yahoo) is still receiving mail -- got one while I've been typing this. Thus I cannot get to the settings to change the account/password, and I cannot just delete the account outright. So far as I know.

I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But when I tap the info in and press "continue" I get a message saying "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user name is my gmail address which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.
