I've tried uninstalling all the usb drivers and re-installing them, I've installed (multiple times) the latest 6.1 desktop manager. I've tried different cables and different usb ports but I can't get my pc to recognise my phone.

I recently got a new Lenovo T410 laptop, running Windows 7. I have downloaded the DM software (v5.0.1) and verified that my device SW is up-to-date, but the laptop is still not recognizing that the device is connected (via USB). I've tried it in all the USB ports on the laptop, and also followed all the steps detailed in KB13146, with no luck. I can't find anything in any of the forums that reference Windows 7.

When I conect the iPhone 6 to my computer (Windows 7), don't recognize it. Already installed the new version of iTunes and don't has problems with the
iPad 2 and remove the older iPhone from the account. I go to Control panel (Device Manager), but the iPhone don't appear and also with other cable and try in all USB ports of the computer. I don't know what to do?!?!

My iPhone will connect to my computer but is not recognized in itunes. I have tried a different cord, updating the drivers, restarting drivers, updating both phone and iTunes, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. i have also looked at what apple says to do to and non of it has worked for me.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to connect my s6 edge to win7 without luck. I have tried the following (solo and mixing some changes) :
upgrade to latest Kies3
install Smart Switch
install Samsung USB driver
change the PC USB port
enable and disable the developers option
enable and disable the USB debugging
all resulted in the PC to be charging the s6 edge battery.
I connect my Droid X via USB to my PC, just like always to open and move/copy files between phone and computer, but Windows doesn't recognize photos I've taken since November 2011. I browse to the DCIM directory where my photos are located, but I can't open them with ANY program on my PC, not even preview them, with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, any graphics program, Picasa photo viewer, etc. The error says that the photo type is either invalid, or I don't have ot latest update to Windows Photo viewer, but I do have the latest.
Photos taken prior to November are just fine, and all photos can be viewed on my phone from the gallery or opening the directory. I have long suspected this was due to an automatic Android update pushed to my phone at the end of October/early November, and have put it off, but now I really need to get photos off my phone.
So, a month or so ago I updated my phone to L without a hitch. This morning, I tried to begin moving to M, but I can't get my computer to recognize that the phone is connected to a USB port.
I'm running the latest Win 7 Pro build (current patches), I've tried using every USB port on the box, and I've tried four different cables. The Nexus will charge off the USB, but the PC will not connect to it, so I can't perform any of the flashing commands. Dev options are set on the phone, ofc.
I should note that I can't get the Device Manager to see anything connected, either, so it's not trying to update drivers or anything. Besides, I believe those are current, since everything worked a month ago.

I have read numerous threads, here at Crackberry and beyond, but I am afraid I have a truly nuked (to ashes) Curve 8310. My son decided he needed a password, then promptly forgot it and wiped the unit out. Being scared that he was really wiping it out (which of course he was), he pulled the battery in the middle of the wipe. I reconnected everything, and it seemed to do a wipe okay.The essential problem now is that I can never get it recognized by a Windows PC when connecting a USB cable. Yes, I have the BB Desktop and app loader installed. A second, known good BB (different model) connects just fine and is recognized. JL_CMDR gives a "port not found" error. Tried invoking LOADER, even with the /NOJVM switch, but nothing ever sees the 8310. Tried the timing issues with battery pull, cable disconnect dozens of times, but I never hear the PC do the double-ding that a USB device has connected, and the Loader application is always blank for the ports.

I may have disabled the option to select the kind of connection by checking "Don't Ask This Again". don't suggest that I go to "OPTIONS", then "MEDIA CARD". There is no such choice.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOnly device memory and built-in-media storage are detected. I do not know why it doesn't read my media card even though it is inserted properly. I tried my media card in my pc and it works perfectly fine. I already did the security wipe method, reboot method, upgraded my OS(OS Level Method), cleaning the media card,formatting my media card and almost everything I read, I've done it but still it won't be read. I already go asked someone what could be the problem and he said my media card(where you put it) seems to be okay... He too can't identify what is wrong with it. I tried sandisk media card once but still same result assuming that BB is too picky with media card but still it cannot be read/recognized...I am too sad because i cannot enjoy my torch because i don't want to use my built-in memory storage for my entertainment....

I was expecting the new BB torch will be able to open the files in that card, as in the music and the pictures from my old phone are there.
