I connect my Droid X via USB to my PC, just like always to open and move/copy files between phone and computer, but Windows doesn't recognize photos I've taken since November 2011. I browse to the DCIM directory where my photos are located, but I can't open them with ANY program on my PC, not even preview them, with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, any graphics program, Picasa photo viewer, etc. The error says that the photo type is either invalid, or I don't have ot latest update to Windows Photo viewer, but I do have the latest.
Photos taken prior to November are just fine, and all photos can be viewed on my phone from the gallery or opening the directory. I have long suspected this was due to an automatic Android update pushed to my phone at the end of October/early November, and have put it off, but now I really need to get photos off my phone.

I Have had my iPhone 5s since December 2013 and my problems have been getting worse. I have a Asus(PC) with windows 8. My iPhone will connect to my computer but is not recognized in itunes. I have tried a different cord, updating the drivers, restarting drivers, updating both phone and iTunes, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. i have also looked at what apple says to do to and non of it has worked for me.

My iPhone no longer recognizes when I plug in headphones or any other external audio device. A software upgrade fixed this problem once, but the problem has come back and upgrades won't fix it. No matter what I plug into the headphone jack, audio continues to play out of the phone speakers. I'm outside of my warranty and not near an Apple store.

I just purchased 2 iPhone 4s's for my daughters. iTunes does not recognize them. I have an iPhone 4 and iTunes reccognizes it. I think it has something to do with Windows 7. The iPhone 4 is recognized by one user, but not recognized by iTunes for my daughters accounts/users. Also, neither iPhone 4 is recognized on my account. View 6 Replies View RelatedI changed my password/e-mail on apple.com because my old e-mail/password was hacked. I have since deleted the old e-mail address entriely and have registered a new one. While apple.com recognizes the change (as does my iPhone 3, which I use as an iPod) my iPhone4 does not recognize the change, and still has my old e-mail address on it. I've tried both passwords on the iPhone4, and neither work. It's annoying having to use the computer only to download new apps/podcasts/etc.

When I connect my phone to my computer it makes a noise but doesn't show the iPhone under my computer it also doesn't charge the iPhone when it is connected to it except for a few seconds when I reboot my laptop. When I search under Device manager there is absolutely nothing there. I was attempting to restore my phone yesterday and couldn't do it on my phone alone nor when plugged into my computer so I restored it to a back up on another computer. I have been trying to connect my s6 edge to win7 without luck. I have tried the following (solo and mixing some changes) :
upgrade to latest Kies3
install Smart Switch
install Samsung USB driver
change the PC USB port
enable and disable the developers option
enable and disable the USB debugging
all resulted in the PC to be charging the s6 edge battery.
