When trying to download mp3 files, my Torch 9800 is not recognized by my PC. Instead the Torch goes into clock display mode as if trying to charge from the USB.
I may have disabled the option to select the kind of connection by checking "Don't Ask This Again". don't suggest that I go to "OPTIONS", then "MEDIA CARD". There is no such choice.
Just bought new blackberry after replacing the old one. It will not let me sign into my blackberry ID on the new phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOnly device memory and built-in-media storage are detected. I do not know why it doesn't read my media card even though it is inserted properly. I tried my media card in my pc and it works perfectly fine. I already did the security wipe method, reboot method, upgraded my OS(OS Level Method), cleaning the media card,formatting my media card and almost everything I read, I've done it but still it won't be read. I already go asked someone what could be the problem and he said my media card(where you put it) seems to be okay... He too can't identify what is wrong with it. I tried sandisk media card once but still same result assuming that BB is too picky with media card but still it cannot be read/recognized...I am too sad because i cannot enjoy my torch because i don't want to use my built-in memory storage for my entertainment....

I was expecting the new BB torch will be able to open the files in that card, as in the music and the pictures from my old phone are there. But there's nothing from the MicroSD card can be read by this Torch, but when I take it out of the phone and trying to open it in the computer it can be perfectly opened and all of the datas are still there.what can I do to make the BB torch read the Micro SD?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOK in the past (as in last week) I have been able to connect my BB curve to both my laptop and my desktop without issue using the BB desktop manager, and happily synch diary and address books.
This week my husband has decided he wants to install and run microsofts active synch so he can update his old work phone with his photos and music. This was not a problem on our old PC (8 years old). However I have recently bought a P4 dell desktop, and active synch was not already loaded. I'd asked him to wait until I'd run ghost and got a back up of everything but he obviously could not wait.
Since uploading MS active synch my PC no longer manages to connect to the BB curve, so I can't do any synchronising, or updating of software through it. I can however connect and update via the laptop. The laptop does not have outlook, so it's not keeping my diary or address book up to date. Grrr.
I connect my 4s and it detects the phone for a few sconds and asks to restore the phone but does not recongize the phone after restoring

I recently got a secondhand iPhone 3gs and I started it up and everything but the next time I connected it to my mac, it wouldn't acknowledge it at all. Neither would it charge. So I tried with my mum's PC and it was the same situation. My iPhone won't even charge with the wall charger unless I give it a hard reset each time. I tried recovery mode and even then iTunes wouldn' recognise it. The screen would just have the 'connect to iTunes' picture even though it was plugged in.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an X6 and when I try to sync it with PC Suite and Ovi, they either do not recognise the device, or cannot detect that it is connected. I have reinstalled all the software from the Nokia site, reset the phone (soft and hard) and it still doesn't work. I have been reading a lot of comments and it seems that if you have this handset with O2, then neither of these applications will work. O2 say that the handset is fine and it is an issue with Nokia. Nokia have told me to do all the things as above. At a bit of a loss now! Have 3 days in which to reject phone.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have recently installed ovi suite. My computer keeps asking me to install the driver for the "bluetooth peripheral" device (and it can't find the program to install). But that is not the real problem. problem is when i connect my phone to the pc it doesn't recognize it, i've gone through all the help files and done everything, checked the connection was right, disconnected, rebooted both devices and reconnected, and made sure it was on use as Ovi Suite when the option comes in the beginning.Furthermore, although my computer sees the phone as a Bluetooth device and i can browse and copy files to and fro the phone, the pc suite doesn't recognize the phone via the bluetooth route either.again, i've gone through all the help suggestions.

Now when I connect it to my computer it will charge, but it won't sync and it doesn't show up in device manager. I connected it to another computer and everything worked fine, it started to install the drivers etc... but I need to get it working on this computer. I've restarted the computer and the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled zune, ran various windows fix it things, installed updates for the computer... nothing!

It just says "please wait" and then does nothing for literally hours. I can log in to the BlackBerry website fine so I know my login and password are correct. My cell phone provider says it is a BlackBerry issue. The log in screen gives you 10 tries to log in before it wipes your phone and I'm on try #8.

Pretty eh phone over all, crappy camera, crappy battery, nothing particularly awful, just irritating. and its never recognized my sd card. But It wasn't ever a problem, I still could save things and download stuff, whatever. But now I can't access any of my saved things like game progress. Some games I can, others only work when I'm not at home, like at school.
I don't do anything weird with my phone, or try to upgrade it myself. I take it out of the box and go.
I've tried everything that doesn't involve erasing all of my crap. I've removed it, restarted, the tape thing, I tried al. These things at school too and nothing.
It worked fine less then a week ago, I updated it, and now Its basically useless for anything besides phone calls and the internet.
