Having issues with their Nexus 5 not charging, or at the very least charging super slowly?
Mine has been plugged in for about 3 hours and only charged up about 10%. Could it be a teething issue (it's the first charge out of the box) or something worth contacting Google about?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI ordered two of them, one the micro usb port inside the pod was a little more loose than the other. The more loose one was easier to get into place and take out than the other one. I also noticed that the micro usb port on both pods were kinda tilted the opposite directions, very strange.
I love the old pods that have the charging contacts because it save your usb port, but now that this one has to use the usb port I am not too sure. Though now you can sync to your computer if connected that way.I will begin using the pod at work this week, hopefully I like it.
When I plug in my Torch to charge, it says the USB isn't connecting and to try another cable or power source. Nothing is working...

Your carrier: Rogers Mobile
Blackberry 9810 (3G/H+, Wi-Fi)
OS: 7.1 Bundle 648 (v7.1.0.205, Platform 5.1.0.181)
I upgraded to OS 7.1 last night, and since then my phone will not charge when plugged into the charger that came with the device. The charger from my wife's 9810 or the charger for either of our Playbooks. When plugged in the screen displays "The charging source connected to your BlackBerry device cannot charge your battery" I have completed a battery pull and wait 30 seconds, did not fix anything.
I let my month-old Torch power down completely for the first time. I plugged it in to recharge, and nothing is happening. I went through all the troubleshooting advice on the BB website, and nothing worked. I even tried 2 different chargers. Normally when charging, the device is slightly warm.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9850 that has been shutting down repeatedly. It seems to crash and I have to do a battery pull for it to restart and when it does, it shuts back off again! The phone stays on and works fine while the charger is plugged in but as soon as the charger is removed, it shuts off again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI misplaced my phone and the battery drained down to zero and shut itself off. I plugged it into charge about an hour ago (into a wall, not a computer). A red light came on for about thirty seconds and then shut off. The battery charging icon that is supposed to appear hasn't. I unplugged it and tried again a minute ago, and its the same thing. It doesn't turn on or show any sign of being responsive exept for that thirty seconds of solid red light.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't believe that RIM designed such a stupid charging pod for the Torch! I had the pod for my 9700 and that was slick with those little metal contacts on the bottom. Very easy to just drop phone into pod. But with the new Torch, the pod is a physical connection into the micro USB port on the side of the phone!! What were they thinking??!! Isn't the idea of a pod supposed to be for the ultimate in charging ease and to prevent unnecessary wear on the USB connection?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my blackberry. A couple of weeks ago it stopped charging via wall socket charger. After trying a couple of different chargers and still not charging I contacted my service provider who brought it in for repair. After about a week I received the phone back from repair. They did not repair the phone because they said it would be a chargeable repair. I asked them what the fault was and they said the charging port on the phone had water damage but I can't see how because it has been no where near water. I tried the phone again with different chargers but still would not charge. I then tried a usb charger via pc and the phone now charges with no problems. So now I'm charging the phone with a plug in socket with usb connection. I Phoned my service provider to say the phone is charging via usb and the phone must have a hardware fault, But they are still saying that the phone is damaged and it is a chargeable repair. I can't see how if it is charging normally via a usb. Please can you confirm if the phone would have a hardware problem.
