My blackberry 9800 suddenly just didn't switch on, it does not have any red lights when I charge it. I tried to reset it in app loader and it still did not recognize it. But when I plug it into by charger it makes a high pitched beep noise.
View 2 RepliesI plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....
I have had my Blackberry Curve 8330 on my Verizon plan for 2 months and the trackball has fallen off and the phone currently will not turn on. No it is not Dead. I have charged it for hours(The light does turn on while charging) yet the phone still will not turn on.

I have read about flashing red lights online with the Bold 9900, but mine just stays on.
I recently upgraded my OS from 4.6 to 5.0 and everything is going well except, I don't know why my Bold 9000's screen light will NOT turn off while it is in it's cradle charging. I must be messing up on a certain setting It used to turn off for the night while charging.

After this the greenish yellowish LED light starts blinking to tell me its charging. I absolutely hate that light and can't stand it. It is not because of the bluetooth (I leave it off and do not use.) if the message indicator is on it is purple (blue + red). The other colors still work but end up blended with the blue. I have pulled the battery. (obviously it didn't help or I wouldn't be posting this.) I have contacted my carrier for support. No help. They will just replace the phone. My warranty is void and can't afford to buy a new torch. I have turned off everything I can and checked all options. Check the cpu and can not find anything running that shouldn't be.

They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. After approx 2 weeks of recieving the phone back from the insurers the phone starting bhaving eratically - not allowing him to play music, showing the phone was charging when it wasnt plugged in. Well before i had chance to do anything about this the phone is now completly unresponsive, it turns on and off but when it is on none of the keys work, the touchpad doesnt work when you slide the screen up and down it does nothing. Does anyone know if this is something likely to be linked to the repair or if it is likely to be a seperate problem with the handset (possibly covered under warrenty) and just a coincednce?

Everytime I use bluetooth, it works for a small period of time and then hangs itself... It simply disconnects and refuses to pair again... This happens with my stereo headset and also with the Wiimote I use for playing games on the phone... At first I thougnt this might be an issue with the headset (which didnt have the best reception, choppy audio and bad quality, specially for an official SE headset) but I really noticed the issue after I started using my Wii remote to play games on the phone since I know the remote works flawlessly on the Wii itself... The problem is that it stops working, refuses to pair again and when I turn off Bluetooth, it doesnt turn on again, no matter how long I try, forcing me to restart the phone... Only to work again after rebooting and hanging again after some use...
