My torch this morning decided to turn off after being fully charged from the previous night . I tried to turn it back on , taking out the battery and sim card, Tried putting it back on the charger and nothing will light up?
View 1 RepliesMy phone was working perfectly alright last night but lost charge so went go charge it as normal from the wall socket but it did not charge at all and not even the red power light showing. Thought I'd give it another go in the morning but no, just the red light on but no power. Now it still has the red power light show up but then after about 30 mins a battery sign shows that is different to the last battery sign that it had before so was wondering if the system has updated automatically???? Turns on but shows main screen for a millisecond and switches straight off saying 0% battery even though its been charging a good while.

I woke up to charge it and there was no response besides a red light when plugged in then it went out and then no light eventually. I ordered a new battery and got it today. It charged for 10 seconds then tried turning itself on and died and kept repeating this process and now im back to the red light when I plug it in and thats all..The light keeps going out then no response.

So i took out the battery and restarted the phone, i did this 3 times and now it wont turn on at all.When i plug the charger in, the phone wont charge.I dont know if the battery has gone all together so ive ordered a new one.

It send me the message saying welcome to bb but when the battery died i havent been able to get it charge again. When I connect it to the charger the light comes on but stays on only for like 10 seconds and thats it. When I connected to the computer the same the light stays on for like 10 seconds and it goes off. I haven't been able to even turn it on.

Yesterday her phone went flat as it ran out of battery, once she got home she put it on charge via blackberry wall charger this was about 2-3hrs after the phone went flat. She came back to it about an hour later to find the screen was showing a battery with a cross through it and couldn't turn it on. Since then I have tried every attempt to get the phone working by changing wall chargers to another blackberry one, blackberry USB cable on laptop and computer in the highest USB ports, even car charger. I also have tried battery pull out with charger.
After trying all this I thought it may have been software problem but the phone is recognized in the latest Desktop Manager but it fails to connect ( Because phone can't turn on), tried AppLoader again no luck and also in JM_Cmder.I would also like to add the phone has now been on charge for 1 day now and there is still no change. This phone is nearly a year old.
How do I turn off the bluetooth light? I use a earbud 80% of the time and the flashing blue annoys the heck out of me.

It is not because of the bluetooth (I leave it off and do not use.) if the message indicator is on it is purple (blue + red). The other colors still work but end up blended with the blue. I have pulled the battery. (obviously it didn't help or I wouldn't be posting this.) I have contacted my carrier for support. No help. They will just replace the phone. My warranty is void and can't afford to buy a new torch. I have turned off everything I can and checked all options. Check the cpu and can not find anything running that shouldn't be.

Phone switched itself off with no warning, had 55% battery.. plugged it on charge straight away, nothing but a red flashing light. Its been on charge ever since, so over 3 days, still nothing.
Luckily i have a spare phone so am using that for the time being, however i have 100's of pictures stored on my phones internal memory and really need access to them.
I've tried the volume/power button resets.

Ive tried the volume/power button resets& red button behind SIM card ...
- using my phone in the car, charging via my Sony Bluetooth Radio (built in to my car)
- battery was decreasing faster than charging and the phone ran out of battery and turned off
- tried to plug it into mains but no red light to verify charging
- used another charger and still no red light to verify charging
- tried to turn on. nothing. tried to reset. nothing.
- checked chargers with friends phone and chargers were working fine
- tried to charge the phone with a PC USB. PC verified something had been plugged in but said they couldn't verify and there was a problem.
- left the phone for about an hour.
- when returned to the phone the red out-of-battery light was blinking when I tried to press the power button.
- went to my car and tried to charge it via the sony bluetooth radio
- lights turned off and phone returned to unresponsive state
- got home about 40 minutes later and red lights are on
- charged it via AC adapter at home, left it for a bit, now charging normally.
For a while i thought my phone was completely busted and I was so angry as I've just had a replacement. Before lollipop if the phone ran out of battery it would just start to charge.. I wouldn't have to wait an hour for it to become responsive again?! just making sure this isnt a fault.
My w980 has just died on me,a red light blinks a few times when trying to charge it,how can this be repaired?
