BB Torch :: Screen Won't Turn On But T He Red Light Blinks?
Sep 5, 2011
Last night my phone randomly shut itself off. At first it wouldnt turn back on so I did a battery pull and it turned on. But it was saying that the sim card wasnt registering. So I just shut it off. Now the screen wont turn on. I know the phone still works because the Red Light will blink when I plug it into the charger but still no screen.
Red light blinks every couple seconds- but will not start up.Although, start up has occured, it quickly turns back off again...I have tried to hook it up to the desktop manager but it says it cant find device, i'm assuming this is because its not turned on?
i let my blackberry 9930 os 7 charging last night the when i get it was off and the phone dont turn on just the red led turn on and then off and turn on and then of.
My phone's battery died and it shut off. So I plugged it in to charge. The charging light just blinks instead of shows up solid (could swear this is solid eventually) and was set on charge for an hour.
It won't turn on now. I'm trying to just at least get it on while charging so I don't miss calls but holding down the power button does nothing.
As the title says, my blue led notification light blinks continuously when the screen is off. No apps are up and running and there are no missesd texts/calls/etc. Couldn't find an answer through any google searches.
My phone was working good. I tried to update the software using SE update service. When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I tried to flash the phone too but it is also not wokring XS++ shows something link this.

Plugged my phone into the charger last night with everything working fine. This morning, the phone is dead. The red light blinks on and off every 10 seconds or so but, nothing else. Tried everything but, no life.
I have a bb 9630 tour and its a new one, i see that the red light seems to be blinking two times and their is not boot process happening its more like a dead phone to m. Things that i tried
I have a Sony Xperia z2 that has orange light on when I connect for charging. The light turns on and blinks and off again. While thebphone screen powers on shows black screen with Sony qt the bottom and Xperia innate middle of the screen infinite font and the pjoebresrltarts.
I have a Blackberry 8900. To start, I woke up one morning and had a white screen and an error 502. I wasn't able to fix the issue immediately since I had class. I'm usually more attentive to my phone but I'm in law school. Anyway, the next day I went to try to fix my phone, it would not power on at all. I just got the red light flash. When plugging it in to my computer, I got the sound it was connected but the AppLoader, JML_Cmder and DTM would not recognize the device. Frustrated, I put the phone aside again to concentrate on school.
So, I've decided to give this another shot but now it's gotten worse. The phone does nothing unless it's plugged up and it's still just that annoying red light blinking. I keep the phone plugged and remove the battery...still that blinking and the pattern is long pause, blink, short pause, blink, blink, blink repeat. Again, there is no activity when the phone is unplugged. Same thing when I plug it into my computer. The battery does not make a difference and doing a battery pull does not work.
My computer does not recognize my device at all (no sounds, no connection, etc). I have tried to let it charge from a wall charger and it did nothing but that blink pattern for 12 hours. Again, I have tried the AppLoader through c:program filescommon files esearch in motionapp loader, I have tried using the Command Prompt, I have tried JML_Cmder, I have tried the battery pull, I have re-installed both the DTM and the Blackberry USB and Modem drivers. Anything else I could possibly try? Also, does anyone know what that blink pattern means?
I never noticed this before, but since I updated to iOS 5.1, my iPhone 4S now blinks off and on through the LED light when I receive a call. Is this a new feature? If so, how do I turn it off. I don't need my phone to light up a room when I receive a call.
I have had my curve for a little over two months now && havent yet had really any problems until about a week ago...I've noticed that out of seemingly nowhere, the red LED light will start blinking like I have a message or something and when I check to see if there are any new messages, there arent. I still get new messages and everything works correctly as far as I can tell, but that damn light will start blinking out of nowhere and it annoys me and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to stop it. the only thing that fixes it is a battery pull and it happens probably every other day. i have smrtguard installed on my phone and idk if maybe the light blinks when its doing an antivirus sweep on my phone or what.
my device does not turn on, the LED light turn on red for about 15 seconds and then off, the only thing I can see in the screen is the battery charging symbol when I plugged it in for about 3 min and then nothing, I try another battery and is not it.
Previously I had to format and factory reset my nokia e7 , after the format I found out that when I send and SMS and I receive the delivery , the notification light start blinking , and as soon as I touch the touch screen or press on any of the phone buttons ( like the home key, volume or unlock ) it stops blinking , I'm sure it only has to blink when I receive an SMS , not when I receive a delivery.
I tried a new battery and that didn't work. The phone was in my pocket I had sent a text and 15 minutes later it was off. I tried a hard reboot and charging it. It will not power up, no red light either.
Torch 9800. My L.E.D light will not turn off. It is blue. It is not flashing. It is not because of the bluetooth (I leave it off and do not use.) if the message indicator is on it is purple (blue + red). The other colors still work but end up blended with the blue. I have pulled the battery. (obviously it didn't help or I wouldn't be posting this.) I have contacted my carrier for support. No help. They will just replace the phone. My warranty is void and can't afford to buy a new torch. I have turned off everything I can and checked all options. Check the cpu and can not find anything running that shouldn't be.
Last night i switched my BB Torch 9860 off and this morning when i woke up to turn it back on it wont switch on and the red light keeps coming on and off and it wont do anything. can anyone help me with what to do.As i purchased the phone in october last year on ebay i have been told my optus they can not send it away with a proof of purchase or warrenty i purchased the phone brand new. Im really desperate to have this fixed
My torch this morning decided to turn off after being fully charged from the previous night . I tried to turn it back on , taking out the battery and sim card, Tried putting it back on the charger and nothing will light up?
My blackberry 9800 suddenly just didn't switch on, it does not have any red lights when I charge it. I tried to reset it in app loader and it still did not recognize it. But when I plug it into by charger it makes a high pitched beep noise.
I have a samsung lock from bell yesterday i played with my phone went into the *#7986421*# and clicked on debug in the admin config and it gave me a blue screen about updater something and stayed like this then i removed the battery and the phone won't turn on now
all i see the t746 samsung logo but at 3/4 when the line gets filled up the phones turns off and will do the same cycle again and again if i plug the phone on...
When I woke up this morning, my iPhone 4 said that I had to activate it by connecting it to iTunes. I had no computer nearby, so I waited for a while. Now it does not react, unless it plugged in to a Mac. When it is plugged in the apple logo appears for 10 seconds and then it´s gone. It has been blinking for about 4 hours now. I´ve tried to hold the power and the home buttons in several times, but it does not work. It was and still is fully charged.
Whenever I try to turn on WiFi on my M7 in the quick toggles menu, the WiFi button blinks for 10 seconds like it is searching for WiFi, but it doesn't. It just turns back off after ten seconds. The only time I can get WiFi to work is when I turn off the phone, then turn it back on. Only then will it work for about 20 seconds before turning off again. I'm running Kit Kat 4.4.2 non-rooted. This problem started about two days ago. As well as that, 50% of the time when I click on the WiFi settings, the phone displays a white page with no menu.
