I have a Sony Xperia z2 that has orange light on when I connect for charging. The light turns on and blinks and off again.While thebphone screen powers on shows black screen with Sony qt the bottom and Xperia innate middle of the screen infinite font and the pjoebresrltarts.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry 8900. To start, I woke up one morning and had a white screen and an error 502. I wasn't able to fix the issue immediately since I had class. I'm usually more attentive to my phone but I'm in law school. Anyway, the next day I went to try to fix my phone, it would not power on at all. I just got the red light flash. When plugging it in to my computer, I got the sound it was connected but the AppLoader, JML_Cmder and DTM would not recognize the device. Frustrated, I put the phone aside again to concentrate on school.
So, I've decided to give this another shot but now it's gotten worse. The phone does nothing unless it's plugged up and it's still just that annoying red light blinking. I keep the phone plugged and remove the battery...still that blinking and the pattern is long pause, blink, short pause, blink, blink, blink repeat. Again, there is no activity when the phone is unplugged. Same thing when I plug it into my computer. The battery does not make a difference and doing a battery pull does not work.
My computer does not recognize my device at all (no sounds, no connection, etc). I have tried to let it charge from a wall charger and it did nothing but that blink pattern for 12 hours. Again, I have tried the AppLoader through c:program filescommon files esearch in motionapp loader, I have tried using the Command Prompt, I have tried JML_Cmder, I have tried the battery pull, I have re-installed both the DTM and the Blackberry USB and Modem drivers. Anything else I could possibly try? Also, does anyone know what that blink pattern means?

But it was saying that the sim card wasnt registering. So I just shut it off. Now the screen wont turn on. I know the phone still works because the Red Light will blink when I plug it into the charger but still no screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had my curve for a little over two months now && havent yet had really any problems until about a week ago...I've noticed that out of seemingly nowhere, the red LED light will start blinking like I have a message or something and when I check to see if there are any new messages, there arent. I still get new messages and everything works correctly as far as I can tell, but that damn light will start blinking out of nowhere and it annoys me and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to stop it. the only thing that fixes it is a battery pull and it happens probably every other day. i have smrtguard installed on my phone and idk if maybe the light blinks when its doing an antivirus sweep on my phone or what.

It won't turn on now. I'm trying to just at least get it on while charging so I don't miss calls but holding down the power button does nothing.
Previously I had to format and factory reset my nokia e7 , after the format I found out that when I send and SMS and I receive the delivery , the notification light start blinking , and as soon as I touch the touch screen or press on any of the phone buttons ( like the home key, volume or unlock ) it stops blinking , I'm sure it only has to blink when I receive an SMS , not when I receive a delivery.

When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I have used Android App Killer to shut down everything that is running and I cannot find a reason for the light to be on. Even disabling the light in settings will not stop it, nor will turning off notifications. When I reboot the tablet, it works as normal again for a few days. This started after I upgraded to Jelly Bean.

I've tried searching for a thread like this but haven't found any.My 9700 just randomly "rebooted" this morning, where the screen goes black and the red led light turns on for a couple of seconds. This has happened to me before on my old 9000, where after it would then start up again. Nearing the time when I replaced it, it would do it quite frequently (and to think it just started getting really bad AFTER the 1 year warranty on it expired!). So back to the 9700, the progress bar that comes up when you're starting up the device would then come up, and sometimes load for about half an inch, sometimes only up to an eighth, before the whole thing would start again - the screen would turn black, the red led turns on, and the progress bar would come up again.I pulling the battery out for a few minutes and putting it back in but its still doing it. I then pulled it out for about an hour and its still doing it again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I hit the lock button, my screen turns off, but turns back on only 5-10 seconds after by itself and then stays on until the battery dies. It does stay off if I insert it into a Blackberry belt holster, so as long as I leave it there, it's fine, but I want to take it out and not have the battery drain so quickly.
The only way I can ensure the screen is off when not in the holster is to power off, but I need my phone to be on 24/7 for business.
I just got my new Captivate and it is a very nice phone. I have one issue with it and wanted to know if it is normal or do I have a defective phone. No matter where i am and what type of light I am in (i.e sunlight,darkness etc) the back light for the 4 buttons below the screen (Home, Menu,Search and back) turns off after about 2-3 seconds which is very quickly. It comes back on if I touch the buttons or if I touch the screen. I see a backlight timer for the screen but not for the touch sensitive buttons. Is it normal that the backlight for the buttons goes out in 2-3 seconds? Of do I have a defect?

I have an X10 that I've had for over a year. I recently updated it and since then the screen has split in half and only blinks on and off on the bottom part of it. I can re-install the software and sometimes it helps, but I'm not too sure what else to do.And since the update I've been having problems with Mediascape, it comes on by itself and plays music. I stop it, shut it off and it opens again and plays music. I was wondering if there is something wrong with the Mediascape on these phones. Could it be buggering up the phone?
