I have a bb 9630 tour and its a new one, i see that the red light seems to be blinking two times and their is not boot process happening its more like a dead phone to m. Things that i tried
1) Charger Workin fine
2) removed battery and did a powerfle
3) Tried updating it nothing happens
I left my phone at home when I went away! Put my sim card back in and the red light blinks goes off then the phone does nothing. It is fully charged!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry 8900. To start, I woke up one morning and had a white screen and an error 502. I wasn't able to fix the issue immediately since I had class. I'm usually more attentive to my phone but I'm in law school. Anyway, the next day I went to try to fix my phone, it would not power on at all. I just got the red light flash. When plugging it in to my computer, I got the sound it was connected but the AppLoader, JML_Cmder and DTM would not recognize the device. Frustrated, I put the phone aside again to concentrate on school.
So, I've decided to give this another shot but now it's gotten worse. The phone does nothing unless it's plugged up and it's still just that annoying red light blinking. I keep the phone plugged and remove the battery...still that blinking and the pattern is long pause, blink, short pause, blink, blink, blink repeat. Again, there is no activity when the phone is unplugged. Same thing when I plug it into my computer. The battery does not make a difference and doing a battery pull does not work.
My computer does not recognize my device at all (no sounds, no connection, etc). I have tried to let it charge from a wall charger and it did nothing but that blink pattern for 12 hours. Again, I have tried the AppLoader through c:program filescommon files esearch in motionapp loader, I have tried using the Command Prompt, I have tried JML_Cmder, I have tried the battery pull, I have re-installed both the DTM and the Blackberry USB and Modem drivers. Anything else I could possibly try? Also, does anyone know what that blink pattern means?
how do I switch off the indicator light? It is always blinking a bluish light.

But it was saying that the sim card wasnt registering. So I just shut it off. Now the screen wont turn on. I know the phone still works because the Red Light will blink when I plug it into the charger but still no screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had my curve for a little over two months now && havent yet had really any problems until about a week ago...I've noticed that out of seemingly nowhere, the red LED light will start blinking like I have a message or something and when I check to see if there are any new messages, there arent. I still get new messages and everything works correctly as far as I can tell, but that damn light will start blinking out of nowhere and it annoys me and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to stop it. the only thing that fixes it is a battery pull and it happens probably every other day. i have smrtguard installed on my phone and idk if maybe the light blinks when its doing an antivirus sweep on my phone or what.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy phone's battery died and it shut off. So I plugged it in to charge. The charging light just blinks instead of shows up solid (could swear this is solid eventually) and was set on charge for an hour.
It won't turn on now. I'm trying to just at least get it on while charging so I don't miss calls but holding down the power button does nothing.
Previously I had to format and factory reset my nokia e7 , after the format I found out that when I send and SMS and I receive the delivery , the notification light start blinking , and as soon as I touch the touch screen or press on any of the phone buttons ( like the home key, volume or unlock ) it stops blinking , I'm sure it only has to blink when I receive an SMS , not when I receive a delivery.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI searched other topics and clicked the "similar threads" crackberry offered but couldn't find anything that addressed this. I'm running OS 5 (.419, though I have a friend with me who is running the latest Verizon official and duplicates the same annoyance).
When I receive an SMS text message, the LED blinks as it should. But when I open it, it will continue to blink until I either respond or back out of the message. It's a minor annoyance I know, but does anyone have a fix for this?
My phone was working good. I tried to update the software using SE update service. When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I tried to flash the phone too but it is also not wokring XS++ shows something link this.

I got stuck here, nothing happens after this.
When I plugged in my blackberry to the wall charger to charge, the indicator light will light up red for a few seconds then shut off, then it will light up again then shut off, keeps doing this, does this mean it is charging? I left it charging over night and tried to turn it on in the morning but it was still completely dead. Sometimes the charger has problems making a connection, and usually I can see when that is happening from the lightening bolt sign when the phone is on So I'm wondering if it was just because it wasn't making a connection before that it didn't charge and if the red light on and off indicates that it is charging or not?

View 8 Replies View RelatedAt about 11:30 today I sent an sms text to someone and then I looked at my phone a few minutes later and it had rebooted itself. It did this similarly to what would happen if I had taken out the battery and put it back in and the phone was rebooting itself. The problem is the phone would stay on the screen where it says blackberry in the middle of the screen and has a progress bar down at the bottom. The bar is staying at about 5/8 completed and will not go any further. I have tried taking out the battery and putting it back in and it does the same thing. I hooked it up to the charger and had no success either. I have tried booting the phone in safe mode and that does not help any either. I got the phone in about January and have not had any real problems with it until now.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIve got a big problem with my phone. It went dead last night and i tried to charge it with my pc and all i got was the red light. Once i got it to a wall charger the phone charged for a little booted and everything. It even accepted the txts i recieved while it was off. I leave the house for a couple hours i come back and the phone is off. When i plug the phone in nothing happens not even the yellow charge light. when i unplug the phone the red light comes on for a minute but the phone wont boot ive tried battery pulls and everything but the same thing happens everytime and i have no idea what to do. Ive never had this problem with any blackberry ive ever had.

When I'm trying to power on the phone, I get the initial black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen. Then everything goes black and the blue LED on the top left lights up and stays on, does not flash or dim, just stays on. The phone does not vibrate or make any sound when it does this.
What I've tried to fix it:
1) Power + Volume down (maintenance boot mode) ... I've tried normal boot, factory reset and booting in safe mode, all just give me a black screen with the blue LED.
2) Power + Volume Up + Home (andoid system recovery screen) ... When doing this, the phone displays the black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen, followed by a bluish colored screen with a little android guy on it, followed by the dead android guy with a yellow exclamation triangle over his head, then goes into the android system recovery menu. On this screen I can wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and reboot and I still get a black screen with a steady blue LED.
3) Power + Volume Down + Home followed by Volume Up (Downloading screen) ... Takes me to the bluish screen warning me about downloading a custom OS. After hitting up it does not show the knox has ever been triggered. I've tried using ODIN 3.10.6 to reinstall fresh firmware (5.1.1 G920VVRU3BOG5) and after it successfully installs it, it boots to a black screen with the steady blue LED.
it takes about 10-20 minutes for my phone to boot back up again and its really annoying.and i have no idea why, i don't have anything on there besides music, pictures, a couple of ringtones, some voice notes, and 2 videos and i have an SD card; i have 2 apps installed and its poynt and capture it.that's all, and i don't why it takes forever for it to boot back up and i'm currently running os 5.0.0.624
View 8 Replies View RelatedEarlier today, while my tour was charging it randomly rebooted itself, but it wouldn't boot all the way - the load screen froze about 2/3 of the way through and then didn't do anything (for like 15 minutes) I did both a hard and soft reset, but the phone still won't boot past that point. Because it won't boot, I can't connect it to the computer to reinstall the OS or anything.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am currently having an issue with my blackberry not fully booting up. I have read through multiple outdated threads, which refer to a re installation of the OS . I do not get any kind of error or white screen when booting up. My phone starts to booth up as if i did a normal battery pull and just stops at about 75%. I left it for about an 1 hour and nothing, removed the sd card, sim card and nothing. I recall whatsapp being the last app that I downloaded. I really don't want to reinstall the OS as I have not done a backup for quite so time( I know its my fault =[ )

Now there is nothing. I tried the battery pull but that did nothing. It has been charging for over 6 hours at this point. Will it need to charge for longer to become responsive again? It currently is just dead.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSome time ago my Tour started to act up. This is my Second Tour under this conract. The top row keys stopped working and then the unit would only work only when it felt like. In the password field random characters would be generated and then the field would fill up - so I remove the password. Then it would start using the voice dialing feature at random. So I changed the left button to Clock and the dialing stopped. I also upgraded to OS5.0.0.4.19. It works a little better now, but the low light condition problem means that the phone works occasionally indoors but not outside at night. For instance, it works in my Office (flourescent), bathroom (incandescent) but not in my living room (window). It is out of warrranty and i am stuck wiht 1.5 years to go in my contract. Battery has been pulled a thousand times.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Tour 9630 for Sprint and I plugged it into my iMac last night to charge via USB and it was perfectly fine the whole time.When i woke up in the morn (the comp also went to sleep all night long) the phone screen was blank (black) and the red LED light was solid with no blinking. I unplugged the phone and the screen stayed blank and the light stayed on. I pressed the power button on the phone and the screen showed the little clock with rotating hands (like it was processing something) and then it went blank again and the LED light came back on.It did this 3 times before i took the battery out.I left the battery out for about 25mins and when i put it back in nothing happened at all. I pressed the power button and still nothing. The only thing that happens is when i plug it back in the comp, the solid red LED light comes back on - but still nothing on the screen.Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas for me? Did i fry the battery by leaving it plugged into a dormant comp?
