my red light is flashing when i try to reinstall the os on it using app loader the computer does see that i pluged my blackberry in what can i do to find it or whip the blackberry

The only way I can get the light to stop flashing is a battery pull. Does anyone might know what causes this, and why I have to pull the battery to get the light to stop flasing?, Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

A couple of days ago I've connected phone to computer, check software update (it says your software up to date) recharged the phone and put it on the desk. Oddly enough it starts blinking like I have message, but phone did not turn on or off it just stop responding. The screen is black and when connected to computer through USB it's not recognized. Weather connected to electrical outlet or usb to computer it Flash red signal 10111 - one red , pause and three red. I've tried pulling out batteries, card, keep it for 24 hours without battery, nothing. Neither laptop nor pc recognise blackberry device. Bell offered "to take a look at it for about " 100 -150 $ without warranty that it will be repaired and I have only 6 month left on my 3 years contract. I've brought the phone to local wireless store and they try to flash OS through loader software without any success. I have two blackberries on my account, was happy with the phones, but now feel like smashing both of them. I don't know if I more mad at "Bell" who told me "product has 1 year warranty and now you are screwed" or at Research in Motion for their blackberries for which I've paid 400 $ upfront and 3 years contract (supposedly device cost over 600 $)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am on a curve 8310 I think it is with an annoying flashing blue light. I think it's a cross between a white and blue as it's a pale blue light. I have turned off every notification I can find, email, text, facebook etc. I have deselected the LED option ( changed to none) I cannot figure how WHY this light keeps blinking. I left it charging over night and tried to turn it on in the morning but it was still completely dead. Sometimes the charger has problems making a connection, and usually I can see when that is happening from the lightening bolt sign when the phone is on So I'm wondering if it was just because it wasn't making a connection before that it didn't charge and if the red light on and off indicates that it is charging or not?

When i receive notifications there is no flashing, regardless of the type of notification. I know the light is not broken because it does flash blue when I knock on the screen, and it also lights red when charging. I downloaded Light Flow to see if I could force the light, but that does not seem to have worked either. I checked to make sure the notification light was set to on under the Display setting page.

I have recently noticed that there is a small blue light located next to the secondary camera, (front top right corner above the screen) which flashes every few seconds or so when the phone is not in use. I left it alone, and it still wouldnt respond. So i took the battery out, left it for 5 minutes, and put it back in. Usually, it automatically starts up, but this time there was no response. When i tried to turn it on, the screen stayed black, but the light in the corner came on red, for roughly 10 seconds, then turned off, and began to flash for around 3 seconds, every 10 seconds. ive tried plugging it into the computer, however it cannot pick it up, and if i try to install older software (downgrade it, which it recommends to do) it fails just before the end, every time.

Iv'e tried everything i took the battery out for an hour put it back in tried to charge it left it on charge for a couple of hours nothing.Iv'e tried to re-update it but it wont recgonise being plugged in to the computer.
Picked up an 8820 for $10. The screen was cracked and I replaced that and bought a new battery for it. Nothing happens when I insert wall or usb charger into the port. Computer doesn't see device when plugged into usb. JL_cmder and MFI Multiloader can't find the device. the 8820 hasn't gotten wet so I'm not sure.

But this morning, when I went to unplug it from the charger, the green light was constantly blinking and it didn't take the charge. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had my 9900 for just over a year after upgrade from a 9000. I loved the phone until two weeks ago I did a upgrade to Blackberry Appworld. Once the upgrade completed it asked for a restart and then the phone became a brick. It would not restart and the red light just flashes. After contacting support and following suggestions to try and make the phone connect to the desktop software without success I took the phone back to Rogers who sent it away to the repair shop. The result... not able to be repaired. Somehow this is now the customers problem because something that no one can identify went wrong with the software upgrade process. No support from Blackberry just what Rogers has to offer which is that I can do an early upgrade to another phone for more money.
