I hear a notify tone on my phone and the red light starts flashing, I check my sms, mms, email and there is no new messages. The only way I can get the light to stop flashing is a battery pull. Does anyone might know what causes this, and why I have to pull the battery to get the light to stop flasing?, Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was using my blackberry tour 9630 over two years and never had a problem. A couple of days ago I've connected phone to computer, check software update (it says your software up to date) recharged the phone and put it on the desk. Oddly enough it starts blinking like I have message, but phone did not turn on or off it just stop responding. The screen is black and when connected to computer through USB it's not recognized. Weather connected to electrical outlet or usb to computer it Flash red signal 10111 - one red , pause and three red. I've tried pulling out batteries, card, keep it for 24 hours without battery, nothing. Neither laptop nor pc recognise blackberry device. Bell offered "to take a look at it for about " 100 -150 $ without warranty that it will be repaired and I have only 6 month left on my 3 years contract. I've brought the phone to local wireless store and they try to flash OS through loader software without any success. I have two blackberries on my account, was happy with the phones, but now feel like smashing both of them. I don't know if I more mad at "Bell" who told me "product has 1 year warranty and now you are screwed" or at Research in Motion for their blackberries for which I've paid 400 $ upfront and 3 years contract (supposedly device cost over 600 $)

View 7 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to 5.0, my blackberry tour does this annoying thing where it randomly starts playing the music I uploaded onto it. I'll listen to music on my blackberry while I'm at the gym and when I'm done I hit the stop button. Then I'll be standing in an elevator at work the next day and music will start randomly blasting from my phone. Needless to say this is rather embarrassing and obnoxious.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy BB warned me that the battery was low. When I plugged it into my computer the phone shut off. The Red Light came on and stayed on for about 30 minutes. Now there is nothing. I tried the battery pull but that did nothing. It has been charging for over 6 hours at this point. Will it need to charge for longer to become responsive again? It currently is just dead.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Tour 9630 for Sprint and I plugged it into my iMac last night to charge via USB and it was perfectly fine the whole time.When i woke up in the morn (the comp also went to sleep all night long) the phone screen was blank (black) and the red LED light was solid with no blinking. I unplugged the phone and the screen stayed blank and the light stayed on. I pressed the power button on the phone and the screen showed the little clock with rotating hands (like it was processing something) and then it went blank again and the LED light came back on.It did this 3 times before i took the battery out.I left the battery out for about 25mins and when i put it back in nothing happened at all. I pressed the power button and still nothing. The only thing that happens is when i plug it back in the comp, the solid red LED light comes back on - but still nothing on the screen.Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas for me? Did i fry the battery by leaving it plugged into a dormant comp?

Now the LED doesn't light up at all.I have tried battery pulls and that doesn't work. Any ideas. View 14 Replies View RelatedI plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....

The only way to get the picture back is to switch to the rear camera and then back to the front camera and then it starts working again and then after a while it starts flashing again!

I am on a curve 8310 I think it is with an annoying flashing blue light. I think it's a cross between a white and blue as it's a pale blue light. I have turned off every notification I can find, email, text, facebook etc. I have deselected the LED option ( changed to none) I cannot figure how WHY this light keeps blinking. I've taken the battery out, i'm at my wits end.

I changed the housing in my Tour to make it white but the trackball doesn't sit right and i have a problem scrolling down. I can't seem to get the trackball to sit properely in this housing its just not centered. If i can put a curve trackball in, which model curve do i use?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've developed a problem with my 9630 (carrier: Sprint) recently. I won't receive emails on it for quite a while, but once I open my Internet browser, all of the emails I received since the last time I opened it will come through at once. If I check my messages, they're all listed as coming through at the same time, but inside the email, they're datestamped at the actual time they were sent.
Any ideas as to what it could be? I haven't changed any settings recently, the problem started independent of anything else, from what I can tell. It seems like a problem with my phone not checking for new emails until it uses data services (internet browser).
When I plugged in my blackberry to the wall charger to charge, the indicator light will light up red for a few seconds then shut off, then it will light up again then shut off, keeps doing this, does this mean it is charging? I left it charging over night and tried to turn it on in the morning but it was still completely dead. Sometimes the charger has problems making a connection, and usually I can see when that is happening from the lightening bolt sign when the phone is on So I'm wondering if it was just because it wasn't making a connection before that it didn't charge and if the red light on and off indicates that it is charging or not?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've researched my problem on other posts, and still not completely sure if my problem is unique or not.I have an unlocked Sprint 9630 I grabbed from our IT department before a trip to Turkey. It was supposedly deactivated - turns out it is still active on a Sprint number.
I've replaced the Sprint SIM with an Avea Turkish prepaid SIM that has data and Blackberry capability. It works fine for phone and text, but no ability to register the email with Avea Blackberry. Tech support there unable to determine the problem (unable to connect to server is the error message, both with phone and online).If I can deactive the Sprint number will that help? Or am I just out of luck.
I have an issue with my BB Tour.When I woke up this mourning and took my bb off the charger.I notice there were HLhlhlhlhlhlhlhlhhlhl type on my bb so I tried to press the esc button and the end button and it didn't work. So I did a Battery pull and let it load up...and that when i found out that my trackball wasn't working.then all a sudden it started to type the HLlhlhlhlhlhlhhlhlh again.So I did a another battery pull and it did it again.So I wiped the phone decided to install 5.0 on my phone and I get the same thing.The only thing I did before my phone went hay wire was a couple days prior.I downloaded a couple free themes and screen saver from BB App World.I thought by doing the battery pull and wipe I would fix it but didn't. I know I didn't get my phone wet or anything can anybody explain this?

Did a battery pull, double checked memory leaks, and nothing is taking care of it. It's draining at about 15% per hour. Any thoughts (other than Tours suck.)
