i go into options then into screen/keyboard then led coverage indicator and put it on the hit save my light dont blink green what to do i try to reset it and pull the batt and rebot nothing

This just happened today evidently when I sync'd the phone to my desktop. I have only loaded one OS update, and that was weeks ago. The particular app is question is Shortcut Me
My BB warned me that the battery was low. When I plugged it into my computer the phone shut off. The Red Light came on and stayed on for about 30 minutes. Now there is nothing. I tried the battery pull but that did nothing. It has been charging for over 6 hours at this point. Will it need to charge for longer to become responsive again? It currently is just dead.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Tour 9630 for Sprint and I plugged it into my iMac last night to charge via USB and it was perfectly fine the whole time.When i woke up in the morn (the comp also went to sleep all night long) the phone screen was blank (black) and the red LED light was solid with no blinking. I unplugged the phone and the screen stayed blank and the light stayed on. I pressed the power button on the phone and the screen showed the little clock with rotating hands (like it was processing something) and then it went blank again and the LED light came back on.It did this 3 times before i took the battery out.I left the battery out for about 25mins and when i put it back in nothing happened at all. I pressed the power button and still nothing. The only thing that happens is when i plug it back in the comp, the solid red LED light comes back on - but still nothing on the screen.Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas for me? Did i fry the battery by leaving it plugged into a dormant comp?

Now the LED doesn't light up at all.I have tried battery pulls and that doesn't work. Any ideas. My next thing is to delete the app and redownload it.If someone else has an other idea that would be great.

The only way I can get the light to stop flashing is a battery pull. A couple of days ago I've connected phone to computer, check software update (it says your software up to date) recharged the phone and put it on the desk. Oddly enough it starts blinking like I have message, but phone did not turn on or off it just stop responding. The screen is black and when connected to computer through USB it's not recognized. Weather connected to electrical outlet or usb to computer it Flash red signal 10111 - one red , pause and three red. I've tried pulling out batteries, card, keep it for 24 hours without battery, nothing. Neither laptop nor pc recognise blackberry device. Bell offered "to take a look at it for about " 100 -150 $ without warranty that it will be repaired and I have only 6 month left on my 3 years contract. I've brought the phone to local wireless store and they try to flash OS through loader software without any success. I have two blackberries on my account, was happy with the phones, but now feel like smashing both of them. I don't know if I more mad at "Bell" who told me "product has 1 year warranty and now you are screwed" or at Research in Motion for their blackberries for which I've paid 400 $ upfront and 3 years contract (supposedly device cost over 600 $)

View 5 Replies View RelatedI plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid 4 for my phone, my computer is a desktop running Windows 7 64 bit ultimate. I've tried to connect to MotoCast both wirelessly and with the USB cable. I Uninstalled it and redownloaded it. The part on my computer refuses to stay online, even when I am in MyMotoCast browsing through the files! I have all the settings allowed, it's on a clear port.I gave up and removed my SD card and manually loaded movies and music onto the card, and popped it back into the phone, it was much quicker than waiting on MotoCast's 10 seconds of connect time every time I reset it.
I also find that trying to rearrange a playlist gets buggy after a couple songs. Why is it designed to rewrite the whole 5(ish)kb that is the song to a new location rather than just relink to it? For every OTHER application, a playlist is a series of links that point to your songs. What it is NOT is a physical arrangement of those songs. Why is my phone's playlist a physical arrangement of those songs?
Can you replace a tour trackball with a curve one? I heard somewhere that it was possible. I changed the housing in my Tour to make it white but the trackball doesn't sit right and i have a problem scrolling down. I can't seem to get the trackball to sit properely in this housing its just not centered. If i can put a curve trackball in, which model curve do i use?

It wont turn on but it will for a few minutes, then will randomly shut off and blink like 2 times in a row in perfect intervals. After it turns off... it will not come back on no matter what. I have tried a different charger and even bought a new battery to put in it... But nothing has changed. Its still the same red light! View 8 Replies View RelatedI don't see any notifications anywhere to clear other than the quick toggles I use. I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.
