BB Tour :: Won't Boot, Gets Stuck On Loading Screen
Jan 18, 2011
Earlier today, while my tour was charging it randomly rebooted itself, but it wouldn't boot all the way - the load screen froze about 2/3 of the way through and then didn't do anything (for like 15 minutes) I did both a hard and soft reset, but the phone still won't boot past that point. Because it won't boot, I can't connect it to the computer to reinstall the OS or anything.
After fully charging the phone yesterday, when I went out to get food, my phone shut down along the way and being unable to boot. My phone is running on stock 5.0 with no mods
At first, I was able to get to the colored dots loading screen but it would always get stuck there and shut off. Then I keep trying to restart it up and it got worse and worse, now I'm always stuck at the GOOGLE screen. I'm not sure if this is a boot loop issue as it just gets stuck at GOOGLE screen. I tried the recovery mode cache wipe and it gets stuck at the GOOGLE screen in the middle of the wipe.
So this morning, after fiddling around the power buttons some more, I am able to get the battery logo while charging, though it is weird that it shows 100% then completely drained the next minute or so. I try to load into the recovery mode again and this is what I see at the bottom
E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument) E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument) E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument) E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)
I'm not sure what to do at this point, I'm still in recovery mode but don't want to push any buttons yet as it was a real struggle to get to this point as I'm always stuck at the GOOGLE screen.
Today i took ount my phones battery and placed it back in and the black black ground with "blackberry" cpomes out and it starts to load but the bar stops at about 70%.
i try taking out the battery couple of times and it still didnt work. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks youuuuu
I am currently having an issue with my blackberry not fully booting up. I have read through multiple outdated threads, which refer to a re installation of the OS . I do not get any kind of error or white screen when booting up. My phone starts to booth up as if i did a normal battery pull and just stops at about 75%. I left it for about an 1 hour and nothing, removed the sd card, sim card and nothing. I recall whatsapp being the last app that I downloaded. I really don't want to reinstall the OS as I have not done a backup for quite so time( I know its my fault =[ )
I enabled a password on my blackberry 8530 (boost mobile) and after a few minutes it turned off and restarted itself. It loads the bar all the way but then starts over. I have tried a battery pull, and plugged it into my computer both with and without the battery but the DM wont recognize the device. What (if anything) can I do???
Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this issue. When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. I've tried taking out the battery for several minutes then putting everything back together with no luck....screen still only loads about 3/4 of the way.
I recently got a blackberry torch. I didn't have any problems with it at all until Wednesday and it's still being weird. I will click on something (a picture I want to look at BBM, Facebook, contacts list, etc) and it will go to the loading screen and stay there for a good two minutes - sometimes more every time. It makes it impossible for me to do anything. I tried deleting things that I didn't need, and I checked my memory.. it all seems fine. Like I said, it was always fine, I hadn't done a single thing different, and all of a sudden it started doing this.
I also thought it was because I need to do an update, and I checked and there are updates that need to be done, however I just moved and I cannot find the disc that I got when I got my phone anywhere.
have just updated firmware and it went well but it said there were nokia map updates which I also decided to install it was about complete when an error message came up stating USB connection lost now my phone is stuck on nokia loading screen with no hands and wont turn off Help!
Was installing apps from the marketplace while listenting to music via Spotify, suddenly the phone froze and got stuck. after a few tries i managed to restart the phone by holding the powerbutton in for aproximately 10s. now its stuck on the Nokia screen, hard reset didnt work (holding down - vol.down, power and camera button) soft reset didnt work, obviously. what am I suppposed to do now? I only played with it for 30 mins then it died?
edit: it also seems, its not charging via the adapter that came with it? upon additional soft resets holding powerbutton in) it comes up with battery icon with one red brick, then it seems to restart and vibrate, before it gets stuck on nokia screen again. until i reboot it again. will let it stay on the nokia screen for the night, let's see what happens.
I've only had my bold a couple of months and all has been working great. However I've woken up this morning to find it has rebooted itself and it was stuck on the loading screen about 3/4 loaded. I've done a battery pull twice and it still gets stuck at the same place. Help!
I just updated all the applications and such on my blackberry via blackberry desktop software, and when the phone turned on, it asked me if I wanted to update the email application. I said yes, as I have been having problems with it, and it asked me if I wanted to proceed, even if the update may cause issues with my email. Of course, assuming nothing would happened, I clicked yes, the app was downloaded, and my phone asked if I wanted to restart now or later. I chose now, however, when restarting, the blackberry screen comes up, the little bar fills up to the end with white, but nothing happens afterwards.
I have tried removing the battery several times, connecting it to my laptop, etc. but nothing works! My phone is still stuck
This morning I switched my blackberry on and it loaded to about 3 quarters of the bar and then froze, I've tried restarting it multiple times also tried taking the battery out and I'm having no luck.
After i deleted an app called IM+ my phone rebooted and has been stuck on this black loading screen with the white lettering Blackberry logo and name. The status bar goes to the top...THEN IT REPEATS IN A NEVERENDING LOOP! Even when i start Blackberry Desktop it of course wont even connect to my device because it is not loaded.
I had to restart my Torch 9800 after deleting an application. I pressed "Restart now", it went to the booting/start up screen with the BlackBerry logo and the loading bar at the bottom but then the loading bar froze at the very end.
I tried the ALT + right MAJ + DEL "soft reset" and the battery pull many times but the loading bar kept freezing at the same point everytime. I even removed the battery for a day but nothing changed.
The BlackBerry Desktop Software on my computer recognizes it as a Torch 9800 but is unable to connect to the terminal. I've seen on a forum that you can try to use AppLoader.exe to restore the OS. I'm not sure I did that right though but anyway AppLoader couldn't proceed the step of the connection to my terminal. It recognizes it, asks for the password but can't connect to it. It is kind of as soon as the loading bar freezes, AppLoader is unable to perform anything that could save my Torch.
I bought my curve 8520 about 5 months ago. And just yesterday when I tried rebooting it, it remains stuck on the boot loading screen. I tried battery pull, alt+shiftl+del, but all that happens is it getting stuck on the loading screen.I dont wanna format the phone memory as I dont have a backup of my contacts.
My phone does not load, and gets stuck at the Sony Ericsson loading screen. Have tried to 'repair my phone' using PC Suite, however my phone is not detected at all by 3 different computers, and is preventing me from repairing. Phone appears to go into flash mode, black screen with green light after connecting while holding back button, but tries to boot a minute later (and failing to do so). Have tried multiple computers, installing/unintalling PC suite, SEUS, safe mode, windows xp (32 and 64 bit), win 7. Tried hard reset that I read about (start phone holding menu, back and power buttons) to no avail. Have tried 3 different usb cables. Why my computer cannot detect my phone? It seems bricked
I have a problem with my iPhone 5s (version 7.1.2)..i was about to restore the iPhone, but iTunes kept telling me to close ''find my iPhone'' and i tried severial times to do that but it didn't work..so i decided to delete it from iCloud, and delete everything.. And after that i turned it on DFU mode to restore it.
It starts fine with '' connect to iTunes'' and i did that, so it can restore its original settings, but when the load bar on my iPhone screen reach to the last, it just doenst move anymore, I've been waiting for hours, but nothing happens..and i've tried many different things, such as restart both mac and iPhone
Everything is up to date (iTunes, and my mac)i tried different computer, a windows and other usb cabel...i also tried Recboot, but nothing has worked.. and now its just stucked in ''connect to iTunes''
I instaled new ovi store app and it get stuck on loading screen everytime I try to run this app.I tried to reinstall it, I tried to reinstal phone soft and ovi store after and nothing changed. I cant use ovi store at all
I went into settings and pressed reset my phone and all settings about 10 hours ago, and then it went into the loading screen and has been "loading" ever since.
So my Z2Â ran out of battery last night, and this morning no matter how much it is charged it gets stuck at the telstra logo when booting? The only way to turn the device back off is to hold the power and up volume buttons.I have not flashed or modded the phone in any way.
My HTC One M7 is stuck on the boot screen and I really don't know what to do anymore. Yesterday I deleted some music and 4gb of pictures from my phone to make some space. After that I checked for updates It said an update was available regarding some bugfixes and other issues. I let it download and install. At the end of the install process, I think I saw just the normal updating screen, but with the red pyramid exclamation mark icon. After that, it rebooted just like normal, first the white HTC screen, then the startup sound, and then the white HTC One screen. Only this time it didn't go further than that. My phone is not rooted or tampered with in any way.
I know a factory reset is the easiest thing to do, but if it's possible, I'd really like to fix the problem with all my data intact. My pictures etc are all back upped, and I have the HTC backup thingy (I think), but still, there's some things like WhatsApp messages I'd really like to keep.
my iphone froze up while opening the phone app so i did a hard reset (held down power & home button until it shut off). when i turned the phone on again it got stuck on the boot screen. i tried plugging it in to my computer to restore it but nothing happens.
I have a galaxy s6 g920f and i recently updated it to 5.1.1 via odin wih build number bofj;I'm not liking the firmware as it cant be rooted via pingpong so i tried cf auto root but it stuck on the boot screen so is there anyway to root it? Or can I downgrade to 5.0.2 back and i have seen some guys who reset the knox counter (which is shown in the bootloader) so I have got knox 01 (00500) is there anyway I can get it back to zero?
I have to send my current phone in for repairs and was going to use my old LG F3 as a replacement until I get my current phone back from the shop.
When I tried to boot up the LG, it sticks on the LG start up screen. I tried to reset it by holding down the volume and on/off button, but all I get is a "fastboot" screen that does nothing.
I tried looking up information on this, but it's all technical talk and I don't understand any of it.
Any way to get this phone working again? I don't care if its wiped clean and have to start over.
I purchased an S6 off of CL yesterday, was able to use it all evening and set it up via Wifi (purchased it after Verizon stores were closed, so have not been able to get a SIM card or get it activated with service). Everything was working perfectly.
This morning it asked to update, I accepted. Ever since the update when booting it is stuck on the red verizon screen. I have tried clearing the cache and doing a factory reset, no changes.
I tried to reboot my BB after I installed a call blocker app that required my to reboot it, now it won't boot up. It's like a computer stuck at he windows 7 screen.
I plugged my Motorola Razr into the USB to charge, and it is now stuck on the 'dual core technology' boot screen. The device was already powered on, but when I plugged it in, the screen went black and it started to turn on and paused here. I have tried holding the power button and plugging it in and unplugging it, but nothing happens?
My Bravo got stuck at the Motorola Screen. I tried to VOL/POW button at the same time but that leads me to no where. Every 60 seconds, the Motorola logo flashes.
