BB Torch :: Camera Use Shuts Down
Oct 11, 2012Recently, whenever I use the camera on my Torch 9800, the entire phone shuts down. I have to remove the battery and reboot.

Aug 20, 2010So besides this miserable email issue (by the way, my emails having been comign through instantly for months now. I'll get like 12 at once then none for hours but I digress....). I just tried to take a picture with my lovely Torch and when I hit the "take" button it completely shuts down my phone. In order to turn it back on, I have to do a battery pull. I've tried it twice and both times, it turns the phone off. I was taking pictures earlier today just fine...

Mar 31, 2010I ordered a blackberry from ebay (ordered several phones before with no issues) and I can't figure out what's going on. First, I had to figure out how to turn the radio back on as it was off when I got it. Now every time I click "camera" the phone shuts completely off and restarts! Tried two different batteries, on and off the charger, with and without microSD card. Any ideas?

After the manually turning On the phone again, it will work again including the camera icon or button. But, after a while, it will be like that again, especially when the camera is not used for a while. The phone have been updated with latest software using SE PC Companion. I even tried to use repair to update it again. Same problem.

In order for the phone to come back on the battery has to be pulled or I have to plug phone into charger.

Aug 21, 2012I got a blackberry torch 2 months ago at first it took pictures fine and it saved to the media folder. I do not have a memory card in the phone and there is no pictures on and only 9 songs so it cannot be the memory that is causing this problem.When I take a picture it shows at the bottom of the screen but it does not save to the phone as well as when I bluetooth music it downloads and shows download complete but when I check the music folder it does'nt appear.I have tried inserting a memory card but the items on the memory card does not appear on the phone.

Sometimes you can see them in the preview area but when you click on them you get a weird icon that looks like a wheel. Sometimes even in the preview area you cannot see the pic at all.Still on the official OS that came with the phone. Does anyone know what the problem is? I recently swapped out to a larger memory card but I had the problem on both cards.
