View 3 RepliesSo I have a few pics I took with the Torch and I have some wallpapers that I added to the device. Sometimes you can see them in the preview area but when you click on them you get a weird icon that looks like a wheel. Sometimes even in the preview area you cannot see the pic at all.Still on the official OS that came with the phone. Does anyone know what the problem is? I recently swapped out to a larger memory card but I had the problem on both cards.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone just started acting up when I try to use my camera. Everytime y try using my camera my phone reboots itself.
I have kept my phone up to date with updates and I have been taking good care of it.
I've already ruled out:
-Water damage (has never been wet or near water whatsoever
-Phone software version (have tried downgrading to multiple versions and upgrading to latest)
-Restore to security copies made when camera worked

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Torch 9800 for almost 2 years and suddenly the camera is not working. When clicking on the camera icon, it goes to the page but the screen stays black and after a minute or so and error message appears that says that the camera application failed to open. Please close all other applications and try again. I receive the same error message when attempting to use the video camera. I updated the software as directed by my wireless provider but that didn't solve the problem

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy BB Torch 9800 camera turns on, but will not take a picture or turn off. I get a message: "Uncaught exception: Application_net_rim_bb_file _explorer (1037) is not responding, process terminated. OK. " When I click OK the camera is still on and won't turn off. I rarely use the camera function, but did recently with no problems. Transferred pix to my computer, last use. Now camera doesn't work and I cannot view pictures in folder on my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Torch 9800 two weeks ago and my video camera works fine, very fine, but I cannot take a picture when I change to camera mode. Just appear a black screen and the button stay in gray color (disabled).
View 2 Replies View RelatedHad a torch 9800 for 18 months now and always been working fine... until today. I went to use the camera and it all seemed to open up fine but instead of seeing what the lens sees the screen was black. The centre focus [ ] was there and I could zoom back and forth just a black screen. When I click for a photo I get a message " Unable to capture the image " I have searched the web and found nothing conclusive. Battery pulls, a full wipe and installation of the o/s have made no difference to it's lack of function.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having Torch 9800 and have recently upgraded my OS to Bundle 3049. Now when I am using my camera to click pictures , at times some of the pictures have vertical black lines evenly spaced through the pic , thats what i can see on the display.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWelp got the torch and love it, was using a captivate and an aria for about 3 weeks, neat toys but sucked as phones so back to bb I went.My convience key will let me program it for any other function other than the camera, it will work the first time after resetting it to the camera option, but won't work the shutter. After closing it out and pressing the button again from the home screen or any other I get nothing?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI can't take any pictures with my bb torch 9800. Everything about the camera is ok; the problem is when I try to press on the button for taking a picture: nothing happens; it's like I don't press even if the flash goes on. In short; my bb torch refuses to take pictures.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAs an avid business crackberry fan (and business manager) for over 3 years, I was appalled to find that I would need to slide the keyboard out to enter my security code, especially when I would do it 50-100 times per day. As every other touchscreen phone on the market has a pattern unlock method, this is the single issue preventing from purchasing this phone(s) PLEASE ISSUE AN UPDATE/APP/PATCH anything to bring this vital security & efficiency issue up to par.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.
Title speaks for its self. They just posted on there wall they will be offering it. No details as to when/price.
