I am having Torch 9800 and have recently upgraded my OS to Bundle 3049. Now when I am using my camera to click pictures , at times some of the pictures have vertical black lines evenly spaced through the pic , thats what i can see on the display.
View 1 RepliesWelp got the torch and love it, was using a captivate and an aria for about 3 weeks, neat toys but sucked as phones so back to bb I went.My convience key will let me program it for any other function other than the camera, it will work the first time after resetting it to the camera option, but won't work the shutter. After closing it out and pressing the button again from the home screen or any other I get nothing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having issues with the keys not working properly on the touchscreen keyboard. When the phone is in portrait and I press on a key what shows up is the key at the left end of that row ex: if I press L an A shows up on the screen, if I press U I get a Q. If I turn the phone so that the keyboard is now on the same side as the USB port I only get whatever buttons are on the bottom of the screen. If I turn it 180 degress none of the keys work.
I have also noticed this happening in applications like Google Latitude. If I press any of the icons on the bottm of the screen the only one that registers is the zoom out key.
If I do a battery pull things work well for a bit and then it starts acting up again.
I haven't seen anyone else posting about this and I am hoping that it is just this phone. I am exchanging it tonight.
I have had my phone for one week and it hasent worked at all.I try to take a pic and it jus freezes and then the camera sound happens seconds later and it doesnt save the pic.I have tried to reboot phone and batt pulls and this works for one pic then returns to the freezing, I have the most updated OS and I am stuck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Torch 9800 for almost 2 years and suddenly the camera is not working.When clicking on the camera icon, it goes to the page but the screen stays black and after a minute or so and error message appears that says that the camera application failed to open. Please close all other applications and try again. I receive the same error message when attempting to use the video camera. I updated the software as directed by my wireless provider but that didn't solve the problem

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe "Email for Nokia 10 Accounts" also called Nokia Messaging does not work after firmware upgrade.I upgraded my E63 firmware from 400.21.13 to 410.21.10 (the latest). After upgrade, I installed the Email software, ver 9.07(2), from Ovi store. The problem starts after I entered my email address and password. The software imported the email account to the Communication --> Messaging folder (where you used to read your text message). Before upgrading, the email software manages all my email accouts and synchronise up to 10 emails. Now that nice email software and user friendly interface no longer show up. Instead it uses that poor design Communication --> Messaging folder. It only allows maximum 2 email acct. auto retrieval and NOT working with yahoo mail.
when i am taking pictures there is a thin black line coming across the screen. this only started occurring recently.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iphone camera stared acting wonky a few weeks back, as in lower resolution and faint lines showing up with an occasional half screen glitch (I'll attach a picture I took of one of these) but it would go away after I focused. Yesterday it stopped working completely though. I open the camera an its just black (no shutter). Front camera still works. On apps like snapchat it opens directly to the front camera and doesn't even give me the option to switch to the rear camera. I've tried everything, I opened the back and the lens isn't cracked from what I could see with a flashlight, it's not dirty, I've turned it on and off several times and force quit the camera app but nothing seems to work! I dot have a warranty and I still have 10 months to go with this phone

Sometimes you can see them in the preview area but when you click on them you get a weird icon that looks like a wheel. Sometimes even in the preview area you cannot see the pic at all.Still on the official OS that came with the phone. Does anyone know what the problem is? I recently swapped out to a larger memory card but I had the problem on both cards.

Other than macro mode I can see only red rectangular box (indicating improper focus?) and the photo seems to be blurred. Macro mode photos seems to be good. Even if I put camera settings to 'Auto' I am getting red rectangular box most of the times instead of green. Software or hardware fault?

Just did an OS upgrade on my 9800 when I saw an upgrade alert on BlackBerry Desktop Software.The OS after upgrade is 6.0 bundle 2342 (v6.0.0.526 platform 6.6.0.195)Now when I run my application to do the voice record (WAV format, not AMR ), I keep getting an error "Requested bitrate is not supported", I tried different bitrate (8000,16000, 44100, 48000....), none of them supported.I used to use bitrate=8000 for recording and it worked, but now it throw above exception.I even change encoding bit from 16 to 8bit, channel from 1 to 2, didn't work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Torch and I've only had it a few weeks and all of a sudden when I write a text, bbm or email, instead of underlinging the misspelt words it's just randomly underlinging any words, ones that I know are spelt correct like you, but, and etc. and it's stopped automatically adding apostrophes or captalising words. I know it's not a huge issue but it's really annyoing.

Sometimes the touch screen doesnīt work and sometimes is works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type some numbers to dial using the virtual keyboard some keys doesnīt work out like the back button. When I type the back button the number 3 appears in the screen. I tried to downgrade and then upgrade the software using the desktop manager but this didnīt fix the problem and even after pulling the battery several times the problem remains.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 9810 is acting up. None of the keys are working, even the 5 below the screen. Sometimes the track pad works but not when it is pressed, and when the back botton works it puts me into sreach mode and looks for the letter "H" only. The touch screen is fine. This was before upgrading to OS7.1. I have done multiple hard resets and it does nothing at all. This has been going on for three days now. It hasn't be dropped or anything.
Last night I upgraded to OS 7.1 now my back ground does not rotate properly with how the phone is being held it does rotate, When you hold it upright it thinks its on it's side and vise versa.
