Has anyone had any problems with the camera function with their torch. At first I could use the camera and take pictures I roughly have only 7 pictures but now all of a sudden the phone will not take any pictures flash works, but no picture.

I can't take any pictures with my bb torch 9800. Everything about the camera is ok; the problem is when I try to press on the button for taking a picture: nothing happens; it's like I don't press even if the flash goes on. In short; my bb torch refuses to take pictures.

View 12 Replies View RelatedSo I have a few pics I took with the Torch and I have some wallpapers that I added to the device. Sometimes you can see them in the preview area but when you click on them you get a weird icon that looks like a wheel. Sometimes even in the preview area you cannot see the pic at all.Still on the official OS that came with the phone. Does anyone know what the problem is? I recently swapped out to a larger memory card but I had the problem on both cards.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI got a blackberry torch 2 months ago at first it took pictures fine and it saved to the media folder. I do not have a memory card in the phone and there is no pictures on and only 9 songs so it cannot be the memory that is causing this problem.When I take a picture it shows at the bottom of the screen but it does not save to the phone as well as when I bluetooth music it downloads and shows download complete but when I check the music folder it does'nt appear.I have tried inserting a memory card but the items on the memory card does not appear on the phone.

I've already ruled out:
-Water damage (has never been wet or near water whatsoever
-Phone software version (have tried downgrading to multiple versions and upgrading to latest)
-Restore to security copies made when camera worked
I've got the torch 9800, and my zoom doesn't work anymore, I've ticked to disable it, then enable it again but still wont work. What else can I do or try, The camera was one of the functions as why I got this phone.

Please close all other applications and try again. I receive the same error message when attempting to use the video camera. I get a message: "Uncaught exception: Application_net_rim_bb_file _explorer (1037) is not responding, process terminated. OK. " When I click OK the camera is still on and won't turn off. I went to use the camera and it all seemed to open up fine but instead of seeing what the lens sees the screen was black. The centre focus [ ] was there and I could zoom back and forth just a black screen. When I click for a photo I get a message " Unable to capture the image " I have searched the web and found nothing conclusive. Battery pulls, a full wipe and installation of the o/s have made no difference to it's lack of function.

Last night I connected my BB throught the usb to transfer some pictures to the laptop but was only able to see a preview of my first few pictures(jpg) and the latest ones (jpg rem) were unable to be previewed, so was unable to transfer! Not changed any thing on camera options so at a lost to why they have changed!

As long as the phone is turned on out of no where the camera would pop up and take multiple pics till i close it but even then it will still pop up again and take more pics till i close the camera app and its a cycle basically. But the good thing is that it doesn't do it all the time but when it does it becomes very annoying and reaches to the point where i cant do anything on the bb because the camera keeps popping up and taking pics. I tried installing the different os systems that my carrier offers but the same issue.
