Whenever I reboot my phone those 5 archived conversation show back up in my current list of Hangouts conversations. I touch and hold the conversation I want to archive hit the archive button and get the message Archiving Hangout, but they still come back after a phone reboot.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I reset my phone I stupidly put in the wrong date in the "date and time" setup. Had texted two of my contacts before I noticed this. Have now changed calendar date to correct date but in my conversations list these two contacts always default to the top. I thought when I passed the date which I had incorrectly put in first this would remedy the problem. However I have now passed this date and these two contacts still aways default to the top of my conversations list. Does anyone know how to sort this without me having to completely reset my phone from start again?

Is there any way to show the hotspot notification ribbon from showing?It is just that a number of apps I have can't shrink the app display and as a result the bottom row of buttons half merge with the status bar of the app and make things difficult.I have a calculator app (I have had to stop using the built in one because it will not let you backspace to correct an entry) and when I am connected via the personal hotspot, there is an issue where the bottom row of buttons compete for the same space as the apps status bar.

I recently plugged my Nokia N97 mini into Nokia Ovi suite for the first time in weeks to manage some of my pictures. When I go into the pictures section and view those on my phone,3 pictures appear that are months old,and I was sure I had deleted from the phone.When I go to delete them it tells me the deletion has failed,and the pictures stay there.I can't find them anywhere on my phone by going though its menus,or by going through the folders in my computer! They don't exist outside of ovi suite! Can anyone tell me how to Make Ovi suite stop showing them,or explain what is going on?

And I have turned off the Email Notifications.I have pulled the battery, rebooted, deleted the application, reinstalled the application....nothing keeps me from being notified about notifications.
When I get texts they pop up on the screen as soon as I get them. This is bad because I have weirdo friends who send some weird messages and I dont want my parents or my little brother to see them. I had the same problem with my old C902 phone, I dont remember how did I did this. and Its different brand to brand.
How do I get it to just go to my in box instead of popping up on the screen? It is an HTC Touch phone.

When I put in all my details to set up my e-mail exchange account all the contacts are deleted. I have tried a few times and ensured that the box's next to contacts calenders and reminders are not checked ( so they don't sync) but it is all still deleted. It seems I can have either my e-mail working or my contacts installed and that can't be right.

I just got my Atrix today and apparantly was just dumb enough to upload a contacts CSV file exported from MS Outlook to my Motoblur account. It synced with my new phone and made lots of multiple entries, etc. what a mess! Now I'm reading that I can synch a number of other ways including using Windows Mobile Device Center to sync with my Outlook contacts. Now how do I stop Motoblur from synching/updating contacts and clear the phone contacts so I can sync another way?

It seems the phone takes all the people in my address book and does a google search or facebook search and it will actually add a photo of the person (which I do not want) and it will not let me delete these new mysterious entries?All VErizon said was I have to make sure contact sync in unchecked in the phone which is it but in Gmail there is no place to unsync contacts. I have also told the SII not to sync contacts from my MS Exchange account. However, if I search for a contact in my contacts list the SII also searches on my Exchange server--which creates traffic I do not want and a lot of hits since I work for a large company. My Outlook stores multiple contacts for the same person automatically (one with an email address only, one with a phone number only, etc.). When my iPhone syncs with the cloud it stores those multiple contacts and makes it frustrating to look up one person's number and email under separate entries. Eight widget id values each time, looks like about nine times an hour, 24/7. Is there a way to stop this waste? Or at least keep it from pushing useful stuff out of the log buffers?

Frank has change the contact in his phone from Brian to Paul. When Paul calls Frank it still shows as Brian. I have check on the phone and can't find any trace of Brian. We use IBM Notes for email/contact which is synced to Franks phone and there is no longer any contact in IBM Notes relating to Frank.
