I have recently migrated from Iphone to Android device with the HTC One. I have an Audi and when I pair my phone to the car bluetooth, the contacts are not listed. I am still able to make calls and but it shows only numbers and not the contacts.

I have a 128gb sd card and if I play music through my car bluetooth in Honda Accord, none of the album and artist information is showing on the car display. Also, I am not able to use my car volume or music controls to control the music. I even tried using music that is not in sd card. Is this a bug in windows 10 phones?

When I click on the radio it always shows Radio Off (with or without the headset). And in the case of bluetooth The option On is not working. It always shows Off. I reset all the settings but nothing happened. And the sw cannot be updated through phone updates.

Is that I have a pair of Wireless Beats headphones. When I scan for Bluetooth devices on my N5 It can't find my headset. I used my Ipad to search for the headset and that picked it up fine. I could even pick up my Ipad Bluetooth using my N5.. (Also note; I have never connected my headset to N5 before)
What I have tried to fix the problem.
-Reset Bluetooth settings
-Factory restore headset
-Connected headset to another device perfectly
-Changed the N5 Bluetooth name
-Reboot on both devices
-Changed WiFi off
-Changed WiFi frequency
-Tried various "Bluetooth Routing" apps
I have several bluetooth speakers. I'll pair a speaker (UE boom in this case), connect the phone to the speaker and start to play some music. The audio comes out of the phone speakers. I had the phone "forget" the bluetooth speaker and then re-paired, no dice, audio still comes through the phone speakers. The same thing happens with my car sometimes. I've tried everything.

iam facing this problem of my e52 not showing contacts names in inbox.Some of the contacts name are shown, those which was originally in my phone memory.because i do a lot of trading, i constantly adds new numbers to my contacts from the sms they sent. But the main problem is here is even after i added their contact giving them names, the names doesnt show up in inbox, its still just numbers.desperately need help for this. how can a business phone have this kind of problem?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy boss Frank has an HTC One M9. We had a colleague Brian whos number was saved on Franks phone. Brian has now left the company and the phone was given to his replacement Paul.
Frank has change the contact in his phone from Brian to Paul. When Paul calls Frank it still shows as Brian. I have check on the phone and can't find any trace of Brian. We use IBM Notes for email/contact which is synced to Franks phone and there is no longer any contact in IBM Notes relating to Frank.
I just got the HTC One M8 ( I previously had the HTC One X and loved that phone) and I have easily connected it to my car's bluetooth. BUT none of the phone book contacts have loaded. I cannot even get my recent calls (history). So if I want to place a call, I have to dial it manually on the car's keypad...which kind of defeats the whole purpose of voice calling and bluetooth connectivity.
I have done a factory reset of the car's system, disconnected the phone and re-connected it. And all of my contacts are on BOTH my phone storage and my SIM storage (which makes for quite a weighty phone book)!!
my contacts do now show up when my messages come through for text message. very frustrating any one else have this prob?

View 8 Replies View RelatedYesterday i lost most of my contacts in my phone. I logged onto the cloud today, they weren't there either. I've tried a few online tricks like turning on and off contacts in settings and selecting "back up contacts to phone" no luck.

So I got a new sim card for my phone, all my contacts are still there, and if I click on "To:" in messages, I can go into contacts and select someone, but in my messages, no names show up. It's just everybody's numbers.

I have Blackberry 8520. earlier I was using Nokia E 90.I transferred my contacts from Nokia to CSV file and got them coverted to .ipd file using Amber vCard onverter. I restored the .ipd file into my Black berry using Desktop Manager.The software shows 784 contacts and that is same as it was in my E 90.
However when I select contacts in my Blackberry I dont see them. However Desktop manager shows 784 contacts.Please tell how do I see these contacts in my Black berry.
