Motorola Xoom :: MMC Location Not Showing
Nov 8, 2011I mounted a Micro-SDHC 32gb card to my Xoom. It DOES recognize the card, in the storage section, but I cannot actually get to the card or know where it is located. I have Astro File manager, but there is an SD card directory already in the Xoom.

May 25, 2011Not sure why but all my calendar info and appointments are no longer showing.. It won't sync with my iPhone any longer.. Was working fine.. Have checked all the settings, it is still set to sync.. I have went in and stopped the calendar app and restarted, still not syncing.. I have tried everything short of a soft Xoom reboot..Have shut down and rebooted both, still won't sync.. The loss of this function is not acceptable..

Aug 7, 2012After the upgrade to ICS (obviously my XOOM wrongly assumes its T-Mobile Germany) my picasa albums are no longer showing in the Gallery app.In Settings -> Accounts & sync -> <my Google account> the "Sync Picasa Web Albums" is missing (not just unchecked - not there). All sync options are checked.I tried deleting an readding my google account and a factory reset without succes. Picasa albums are still not there. My picasa albums are not public but showing fine on my Transformer Pad (also ICS 4.0.3).

Jul 6, 2011I tried many, many times to beam contacts from my HTC Touch Pro to my Xoom. The first time, it did 30 out of 90, and then it would hang. Subsequent attempts would fail after 9 or fewer. Eventually it got to the point of not even doing one. I lost count of how many times I tried this. Probably 20 or more. I just tried the same thing with my new Samsung Galaxy Prevail [to clarify: from the HTC to the Prevail], and all contacts were successfully sent on the first attempt.

Jan 25, 2012I just recently upgraded my Xoom to ICS and linked it up to my companies Outlook using Active Exchange. Everything is working fine except for syncing my contacts. I have subfolders under my Contacts folder (e.g. Work, Personal, etc.) that are not visible/syncing. Is there a way either within the native e-mail client or an app that will let me sync the contacts subfolders? I do not want to root the Xoom. My iPhone does this natively but I'm not sure that ICS can.

Unfortunalety it does not sync calendar and contacts automatically. It only syncs when I reboot the tablet, or when I turn off and on syncing manually in the settings.My provider uses an Open-Xchange server. My Android mobile phone syncs perferctly well with it.
Motorola Droid 3 :: Facebook Pictures Not Showing Up In Contacts?
Jul 21, 2011I just upgraded from a Droid X to a Droid 3. On my X my facebook pictures automatically populated my contacts.
That is not the case with my Droid 3.
1) I've added a Facebook Account
2) There was no pre-installed facebook app so I downloaded and installed the Facebook App from the Market.
No pictures in my contacts although my facebook contacts did appear (in text form). I did wait a day to see if they'd come down. Next, I removed the app and the account. This time around I switched the order...
1) I installed the Facebook app from the market
2) I went to add and account. There was a small facebook icon and a large one. The large one looked "new" so I tapped it. The screen when blank for a second and then back to the account icons.
3) I chose the smaller facebook icon and was prompted for my login.
Facebook is listed as an account, but still no pictures in my contacts.

Apr 20, 2011I have Corporate Sync set up with my company Exchange server for contacts only. Worked fine initially, but has been on and off again last few weeks. It is randomly not showing the Exchange contacts. At times they are all there, other times not. I'm not positive, but I think this issue started after the 1.57 upgrade. Incredibly frustrating when you're out and need to make a call and the contact isn't there.....If I update my credentials for the account, it shows "Updating service" and seems to finish fine - Not getting any password or connection errors.
