Jan 10, 2012I sync with Google contacts and my Mac Addressbook contacts which have birthdays input for most people. On my Photon Contacts List, no birthday field exists.

Oct 27, 2011I have a Photon with the latest software update. I haven't bothered reporting this problem before but it has existed since I got the phone.My contacts are stored on an exchange server. For many of friends, family, and coworkers I have added a contact photo. These contact photos work on:
EVO
EVO 3D
Epic 4g Touch
iPhone
Outlook
iPad
Galaxy
but they do not work on the Photon. By not work, I simply mean that the photos exist on the server, and when I txt or call anyone whose contact has a photo stored, the photo does not show up for almost all of my contacts that have photos in them. Curiously, there are two contacts that display photos, but I don't know why. I would like the photos to be displayed for all contacts like all of my other devices do. i did move my applications from another phone to this phone using a MyBackupPro.
Motorola Photon :: Phone Freezes Everytime I Open Contacts
Aug 9, 2011Everytime I open my contacts my phone freezes and prompts me to force close or wait. When I try to set up a group the point where you add contacts the screen is black and when you press the option button on the phone sends me to the keyboard but doesnt do anything and lags.

Sep 14, 2012After i activated my enterprise account the contacts wont sync . I the Contacts there is no Lookup option to reply the available users.
When i activate the enterprise account using Desktop Manager the contacts are synced two ways (as there is an option on the manager) the look up option on the device is active and displays all the contacts on the server.

Jan 23, 2012I have a Sprint Motorola Photon 4G and I am using it in Brazil with a Claro SIM Card. The phone reboots itself sometimes when I try to make or receive a phone call (2 or 3 times a day). I know this is happening to other Photon owners and I already tried the factory reset twice. My build # is 4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_6. Does anyone know a fix for that?

Aug 9, 2011I finally received the docking station, keyboard, etc.. but when docking my only options are Photo gallery, Music, and Mirror -- no Webtop.If I manually launch the Webtop Connector application, I simply get two tabs: "Webtop Sessions" and "Webtop Bookmarks" -- and the Sessions tab says, "No webtop web pages to resume; an a link to "Learn more about Motorola webtop." -- which is just a video that trys to tell me what great capability I'll have once it actually works.When I check the running services and applications (under Manage Applications), there is a Webtop service, but it shows 0.00B - presuming that it means it is not running or taking up space; and a Webtop Connector application showing 28.00KB.

Aug 1, 2011I have been using the HTC EVO for about a year now...I picked this phone up yesterday and I really enjoy the Photon. I have installed SPB shell for my interface because I just don't like the form and function of the UI that comes with it. Everything seems to be just great with the phone. The battery life is much better than the EVO. I have had moderate to heavy use of it today since 6:00am and after 9 hours of use I'm down to 30% of my battery life. I also have my corporate email set to push, with gtalk usage (without the video, i noticed that that issue was addressed), texting, voice calls and some internet usage.

Sep 2, 2011When leaving a voicemail for someone, often times they call right back while I am leaving the voicemail. I curently only get the option to answer the incoming call or ignore it. Is there a way to disconnect from the first call and answer the incoming call? Right now I have to "ignore" the incoming call, then "end call" that I am on and then call the person back again -or- "answer" the incoming call and leave the voicemail hanging. Seems there would be an option to end current call and then (or in the same action) answer the incoming call.

Oct 18, 2011My phone only seems to show full screen video with the top of the video on the volume button sides and the bottom where the charger hooks in. Is this the norm? When I rotate to put the charger on top (aka, so I can charge the battery while doing something so battery draining), nothing happens, the video won't rotate. Feb 23, 2012I just set up my Photon and I see there is a accuweather app on the screen but it does not show my city, it shows another city. I was able to go in and ad my city to the list bit when I am on the main screen it still shows the other city. I do not see any place to delete this city but I can delete my city if I wanted to. I am thinking that maybe I missed something while I was setting up the phone itself?

Oct 10, 2011You unplug your phone after charging it but the indicator still shows as though the phone is still connected to the charger. The only way to get this back to normal again is to power cycle the phone. Plugging it back in and unplugging it again will not make it go away once this has happened.

Aug 7, 2011I assigned pics to a bunch of my contacts and was pleased to see they synced over to my Exchange account. All of my Android phones I've had since then (G1, Droid, G2, Sidekick 4) pulled those pictures down from Exchange once I set up my contact sync and showed them in Contacts, when I'd get an incoming call from that person, in the text messaging app, etc.
But, the Droid3 doesn't. I'm guessing this is because it looks like it uses a custom app for Exchange, but still, I'd like to see it fixed/added. FWIW, contact pics from my Google+ contacts do show up.
Motorola :: V620 Skin Option Is Not Showing Up In Personalize Menu?
May 6, 2010I am attempting to get skins working with my Motorola V620, but I'm having some issues. I've followed the guides best I can, and don't know where to go from here. I run RSD Lite, and then run skiman, which gets everything loading. One thing of note, it never loads the Moto skin. It does not even appear. However, I have successfully installed 3 different skins, and whenever I reload them in skiman, they all appear just fine. The problem is there is no "Skins" in the personalize menu on the phone. I have attempted to add it with P2k tools with no success, as well as edited seem 0032 offsets 53 and 54 to allow for skins. But still nothing.
Any ideas why the skin option is not showing up in my personalize menu? Any help would be appreciated. And kudos to all the hard work on this forum.

Jan 2, 2012never really noticed this as a problem until this past week. When I purchased the phone, I imported my contact list, and that worked out perfectly. Since that time I have not really had the need to save many numbers, but the ones I HAVE saved, I cannot find in my contact list at all...., when I dial their number, the name I typed comes up and they show up in the recent calls list. For example.. I saved the woman who cuts my hair as "Hair Kelly" I can't find it in my contact list, but when I dial her number, it shows up as "Hair Kelly"

The name shows up in my contact list on my phone, however, when I search for these contacts, either with the search function in the contacts app, or the search glass in the bottom right corner, I do not get these contacts in my search query.I saw another thread where someone had to do a hard reset which seemed to fix this. In my contacts folder in outlook (on laptop), my contact list shows my google/facebook/phone contacts and multiplys these contacts thousands of times, literally.
