Aug 18, 2010I got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.

Dec 6, 2011I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

Jan 15, 2016My LG G4 on a Tmobile network running Android version 5.1 use to work perfectly fine on my home WiFi. Now, the phone connects to the router but then prompts me with the message "Internet not available". I have other devices (Iphone, Ipad, Amazon fire stick, Galaxy note tablet) that work fine. I've done a factory reset on my phone which solved the issue for a day or two but then the issue started again. I've also did a hard reset on the router.

Jan 9, 2010I have recently brought an e52 which is great.The only thing is that I notice that its always got the two arrows under the 3.5g on... when I hold hang up it asks if I would like to disconnect the service, to which I reply YES, only to find its reconnected 3 minutes later.I have turned off the email checking, and ask it to check for new mail every 4 hours.But it still always on, I have also checked for open apps and preformed a soft reset on the device... the problem still pursuits.

Jun 26, 2011I purchased my Blackberry Pearl from an on-line seller and it was suposed to be new. The problem comes when I try to set up my e-mail account.I go to my e-mail set-up option and the only one that it gives me is " I want to use a work e-mail account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server" . Obviously I do not want to do this but I have no other options. I can either hit close or next and next ask me for a password from my Enterprise Server administrator. I contacted Verizon and after much run around they finally told me that this phone was connected to another Blackberry account. I don't know if they really knew what they were talking about or if they just did not want to really help me because I did not upgrade my account and buy my phone from them. It sounds to me like they are trying to say the phone is stolen since they are saying that it is connected with another Blackberry account but if that were the case then Verizon would no be able to activate the phone and I can get it activated and make and receive calls but I cannot get on the internet with it.

May 3, 2010I have a Nokia E63 on 3, it reports its symbian software version as 200.21.012. My wireless router is a Netgear DG834PN. It has a WPA2-PSK key code set up, and my laptop works fine with the wireless. It is set up to use DHCP, has MAC address filtering turned OFF. The network is public (not set to hidden). If i try to connect my nokia E63 to the wireless then when i try to access the internet, it gives an error stating ' no gateway reply'. Power Saving is disabled. I have tried setting the IP address manually and still it gives the error. I have also tried re-setting the router, to no avail. The only way i got it to work was by disabling all security on the router (making it an open network) which, whilst this is fine for testing, i do not want to run it as an open network, it must run with WPA2-PSK security.

I have set up MS Exchange, Gmail and a POP3 accounts.The problem is that my phone keeps on asking me 'Select Connection' if I want to connect using Wifi, WAP or Internet. First of all, I do not know which app requires the connection. This is definitely a UI improvement! How can I know which app requires the connection!Let's assume it is my mails accounts which try to connect (I have played with the Control Panel / App Manager). The issue is I cannot find how to tell my mail accounts I want to force the connections to Vodafone Internet 'Contract Internet'.
It seems that I can only select the connection point for my first email account and not for the remaining ones.. Is that correct? That's a bug.
