Sep 30, 2010I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have).I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.

Apr 22, 2015I had my phone on wifi and then I turned wifi off and suddenly my internet and mms stopped working. I have simple mobile and I called them up and changed the APN settings 6 times and it never worked. I tried downloading the settings and when I click on simple mobile it says cannot download. But when I click on t-mobile it says successfully installed but I still dont have it. Nothing works and I am desperate here. It just stopped working out of the blue. I was on the phone with 4 different represtatives that had no clue how to fix it. I did update the phone to the new 5.0.2 and it still doesnt work and it didnt work before that either.

Feb 28, 2011I've followed the correct configuration settings for my mobile operator in the Philippines which is Globe Telecom. Still I can't connect. There is no signal indicator appearing on the upper part of the screen like 3G/HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS. Just plain signal bars. Is that ok? Is the signal means GSM only and no Data signal?
But when I tried to used other mobile operator like Smart Telecom, it perfectly worked.

And also phone's green light displays when the charging at 90% and it is not charging anymore. And also I upgrdated my phone today and after that process completed the apps from the android market are not downloading. May 14, 2014How can I the Xperia Z2 use the Internet connection provided by a PC through USB cable? WiFi is not an option, would prefer not to install any apps on the mobile since all which I have found were asking for rooting the device. It's very surprising that it's not in the settings by defualt. It can be easily set on other devices (e.g. HTC), and the regular tethering (using the phone's internet connection for the PC) can be set on the phone as well.
Further I wonder why are the options in Settings on Xperia Z2 so limited? No manipulation for the USB connection, no developer's setting, why?
