Xperia X8 :: Could Not Log Into Internet Even For 3 Hours Continousely?

I bought a brand new sony ericsson xperia x8. All say that this phone comes with android version 1.6 . but my phone came with android 2.1 . Because of that I am not sure whether my phone is an original one. And also my phone's battery(EP500) life is also poor. I could not log into internet even for 3 hours continously. And also phone's green light displays when the charging at 90% and it is not charging anymore. And also I upgrdated my phone today and after that process completed the apps from the android market are not downloading. It dispays downloading for 3-4 miniutes and it says "download faild, try again......." kind of message. And also I want to know how to cancel a download when it is downloading.

i got internet disconnection every 2 or 3 hours ...i got this problem before one month
when i call the service provider they said the problem come from the Blackberry Server !
Saudi Arabia - Makkahthe service provider is "Mobily"hope i get the solution fast ...becouse really get bored of this!!

Wondering if anyone has had similar problem.My battery for x10 has now started to last only 4hours - even during the night when its not in use.I already have brightness down as low as possible and have followed all the other guidelines to utilise battery life. The strange thing is that I have not changed anything on the phone recently and the battery just started dying!!!!! Extremely frustrated as I also seem to be receiving texts a lot later than they were sent even though I have full network coverage. I have had the phone since October 2010.

Today i tried to repair my xperia ray. I have 4 mbps connection. It takes more than 4 hours to download the updates. Still its running .. why? i checked the connection in speed test, it show correct speed of my connection.. What the **** is this? How to resolve this? is this will affect the phone if i install / repair my phone now in this condition?

After updating to the latest version (23.1.A.1.28), sometimes during using the phone it suddenly stops responding starting from the home button then the desktop icons & the app drawer also don't respond and can't even switch to other home screen pages.
After restarting the phone, it works fine for some hours and then it happens again. This happens at least twice a day.
I tried repairing by pcc and the same problem returned again. This never happened on Kitkat. Is this a common issue (should I flash kitkat to solve it)?

And there is no way to fix it without messing up my google calendar times. I see this has been a problem for many users for several months now. It's very surprising that it hasn't been fixed by now - obviously not a priority. I'm in NZ so there are no countries 7 hours ahead of us meaning the bug is probably not timezone related. The only way around this is to use a facebook app to sync. I am using the latest firmware. It happens whether I have set the phone to use my timezone or not.There is another problem - there's no way to turn off facebook birthdays while keeping events. This means my calendar is cluttered up with birthdays even single day.Besides that and the fact my network connectivity isn't as good as my cheap Huawei from before (data, what data?), this is an amazing phone!

My XPeria X10 is not charging since 24 hours and it is prompting by asking charging phone, connect phone and other option and nothing was acknowledged after selecting any three of the options. I dont know why? I bought this phone with lot of passion(since it is sony made) 10 months back and i really regret of buying this phone now.It doesn't has any warranty as it is bought from Singapore and i'm in India now. Please help me out with a solution apart from suggesting me to go to Sony Ericsson Service Center(They only discuss commercials despite of criticality of the part which is failed and no customer service is to be expected). The phone support is one more farse that the technician will be a very normal person and he only suggest to take the phone to nearest sony ericsson service center without even listening to your actual problem.

It keeps vibrating 24/7. As long as the screen is active the phone is vibrating.It only stops when the screen goes off, but then again, when I try to activate it, IT WONT LET ME MOVE THE CURSOR, because it is vibrating.If I take out the battery (I cant switch it off otherwise).

I recently bought a Z5 compact. I was using Android KitKat (on Nexus 4) and I had a notification from the Alarm 2 hours before it rings (which also allows me to switch it off if I was already awoken for instance). It seems to have disappeared with Android Lollipop, and in spite of my searches, I couldn't find a solution.Is there a way to stop an alarm without desactivating it ?

Have had my experia x10 for almost a year now, and battery tended to last for 2 days (using for calls/ texts/ internet) In the last few days though- I have fully charged my phone overnight, not used it at all during the day, and it has a completely dead battery 6 hours later. I've not got any applications running except for Cardio Trainer, but have always had this running.

I don't know if this is a problem with Android in general, but my Play's battery will literally die in ~8 hours when not connected to wifi. As I write this, the phone is just sitting here next to me, not being used, and it's drawing 149mA; this number goes up substantially if the phone is actually active, or if I simply hold it in my hand. Obviously, the phone has poor reception and is expending a lot of energy to hold the signal. If I turn wifi on, it's only drawing 1mA! What the heck is the problem? Is this normal?
The facts:
-Only happens while using 3G.
-Only things syncing are one Twitter and one exchange account.
-Not using a live wallpaper.
-Wifi is turned off when I leave the house so as not to keep searching.
I'm getting so tired of monitoring this things battery. I just want to use my phone.

I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have).I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.

I had my phone on wifi and then I turned wifi off and suddenly my internet and mms stopped working. I have simple mobile and I called them up and changed the APN settings 6 times and it never worked. I tried downloading the settings and when I click on simple mobile it says cannot download. But when I click on t-mobile it says successfully installed but I still dont have it. Nothing works and I am desperate here. It just stopped working out of the blue. I was on the phone with 4 different represtatives that had no clue how to fix it. I did update the phone to the new 5.0.2 and it still doesnt work and it didnt work before that either.

I am facing issues while connecting to internet. Its gets disconnected after some time. & i can not reconnect to it until i reboot. I check with network provider on this issue . I came to know that the issue is with handset only. Because the SIM work fine on other handsets & Other SIMs have same issue with Neo V Hand set.
