I Accidentally wiped My os 5 off to get os 6 with BBSAK so i could update the os. I follow the instructions of how to get it back on but BDS doesnt read my phone and when i try the loader manually and from BBSAK nothing happens?

View 6 Replies View Related was hoping I could live with this issue until 9700 hits the UK, but now seeing as its probably going to be 2011 before this happens, I need some help with my current 9000.It's on OS 5.0.0.592 and has 12452390 bytes (is that about 12MB?) file free. The main problem is, the phone is barely saving a week's worth of phone calls/emails/texts and I really need them all to be saved for at least a month. I'm a guitar teacher and I check what the craic is with my sutdents by going to their text number and reading back on the message history. But now, a week later and everyone's text logs are blank. I remember for the longest time, I could go back to the first message I ever sent, and I must have had about 10 apps installed. Now I only have GMaps, Viigo, Facebook, Google Sync and IM+, what I would consider essential to my daily workflow. I've tried MaxMem to clear memory, and that's after using that swiss army knife thing to brick the device first to make sure I really cleared the memory. All the tweaks I've read on this site were done as well.This is starting to get pretty frustrating, don't want to see that low memory screen every day, begging me to delete apps!
I wanted to update my OS from 5 to 6. using desktop manager didnt go well. i found out it is a common problem that desktop manger doesnt recognise the OS installed on PC. went throught all steps and still couldnt update.. so now i am trying to use BBSAK by cleaning the BB and install a new OSat first there was a problem that the software (BBSAK) doesn't recognise my BB.. it said no device has been detected. after few minuites of trying it did recognised the device.i wiped the BB, and got the 507 error as expectedwhen i try to load OS, i select the OS that is installed on the computer( 6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448) , and the application loader wizard opens. and when i should select which applications whould be installed (device application selection screen) i see nothing: it says:" Blackberry destop software dont have blackberry device software for the device connected to the computer. what could be the problem?where are the blackberry 6.0.0 System Software and BlackBerry 6.0.0 Core
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get my memopad reinstalled to me S2. I havent used it in the past few os updates, but find I need it now for various reasons. I have the .cod files saved to my desktop and have installed it several times in the past on my ( and my wifes phone) with no issues.
In the past when I installed a file with bbsak it would restart the phone with each file loaded. Now, it just blinks a white screen and gives me the installed successfully' messege, but when I check the device, it's nowhere to be found. I am on the .517 os and thought that might be the issue...so I decided to check out the other bbsak features and wiped my phone and reinstalled a 548/517 hybrid...no flaws with that, worked as usual. So bbsak seems to be fine.One last issue - when I connect me phone to the computer and run bbsak - I've been getting an error stating 'bbsak detected no device connected', but when I hit the ok, my pin is in and I'm able to do just about everything else - except load the .cod's
I forgot my password I typed it in three times wrong and then a few minutes after that by itself all the memory had been wiped out. The problem was I needed my contacts and I had very very valuble photos on there that I can't have back now I also bought stacks of ring tones and now they are gone too so I wasted money. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 3gs, and I recently updated to the most recent version. When it did this, it completely wiped out everything I had on my iPhone. I've never had a computer for it, and just used my sisters when I visited my parents.
So I plugged into my dads laptop, (which has never seen my iPhone), opened his empty iTunes, and pushed an update through. It literally took everything I had and trashed it. Luckily (maybe), I was able to go to my sisters computer and find the last update. AN ENTIRE YEAR AGO! So I have a bunch of outdated contacts and apps. the worst part, though, is that I have about 20 paid apps that I CANNOT find out how to get onto my iPhone. "Sync iPhone" does nothing, and "Transfer Purchases" does nothing either.

So i was sitting in front of my phone this morning, when all of a sudden it just switched off and went into remote wipe mode. I then got an email from iCloud:Fantastic!! Maybe it was mind control or something!! I then got very pannicky and changed my apple ID password thinking that someone had got hold of it. I've restored from a backup on my computer because when i tried to do it from the Setup new iPhone > Restore from iCloud backup, it said 'No backups availiable'. I guess i hadn't switched on iCloud backups....but i thought i had! So i've got my stuff back via iTunes backup but lost days of data since the last computer backup was early March.

I have had a password on my phone for quite a while now. I plugged it into my laptop this morning to update it, and it asks for my password. I enter it in, it comes back "Incorrect". This went on for 4/5 attempts. I tried the last attempt, and my phone completely wiped itself!
I was entering the right password because I could see what I was typing, it showed my the password I was typing. So I knew very well that it was the right password. Not a problem though right? I could jsut restore it. I open blackberry protect and ALL MY BACK UPS are gone. Unbelievable! I was forced to restore my old contact list from my previous blackberry.
Since updating my device, my calendar has been wiped. Is there any way to recover this information? or a number I can call to speak to a real person

Did the cache partition wipe, factory restore, and for a while it was ok.. then it started acting up again - getting super hot, quick battery drain, apps crashing. Applied the other update from Verizon and went through all the same steps again, with the same results. Each time I reinstalled fewer and fewer apps. Now I've just done another cache partition wipe, factory restore, set up no email accounts, installed no apps, and am running in safe mode.. and my phone feels pretty hot. What's the best/safest way to check the health (temp) of the battery? Should I install GSam for a while? Or is there a way within the stock battery stuff to check the temp?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend thought her iPhone was stolen today, so she did a remote wipe so no one could steal her information off her phone. It ended up that she had just left her iPhone someplace and was able to get it back. Now that she's got the phone back, she's trying to restore it, but it looks like the iPhone was set to back up to iCloud, but never did because of an error (she had no idea she was getting), and it seems that since it was set up to back up to iCloud, the last iTunes backup was from before she got her iPhone 4s (so it's 5 months old). Is there anyway to pull information off of an iPhone after it's been remote wiped? I have a program for pulling information off of digital camera memory cards that have been formatted. Is there something like this for iPhones?

I have had my BB for one year now and never before has this happened. It has happened twice in one week now and I am getting very frustrated. I have always stored my SMSs on my micro SD memory card with no problems, but today they completely disappeared, I have nothing left in my Inbox, Drafts or Sent folders - over a year's worth of messages that I wanted to keep!It happened today when I went into the photo settings on the N86 and noticed that my photos were being saved in 'Mass Storage', so I changed the option to 'Memory Card'. For some strange reason this seems to have had the effect of wiping / overwriting all my saved SMSs on the memory card. Strangely other files seem to have been left untouched, e.g. in the document folder.
Can anyone help?
Over the weekend my Bold 9700 was stolen and I did not have it protected with a code. So now that all my contacts and such are out there I'm hoping there is a way I can get the memory wiped. AT&T has deactivated the sim card but I'm hoping there is away that the memory can be wiped remotely? I had google mail setup on it and have read there may be a way to do it though it.
