I had 40 percent battery remaining and did a pull battery. When I turned it back on, it went to the Blackberry Loading screen then the bar at the bottom fills. It then goes to this screen and hangs. Tried two FULLY CHARGED batteries, same result.
My phone keeps trying to boot up (where it says blackberry, black screen) but keeps stopping and re-booting. It's been doing this for over an hour. I even tried taking the battery out, to no avail.
torch 9800I was playing suduko...put the phone down...came back 10 min later....phone was dark!!!no new apps added recentlyPhone wont boot upi have another 9800, so i have switched batteries and both the batteries boot up my other phone...so its not the batteryI plug the dead one into my desktop...doesnt even know its there...I have followed the threads on statring in safe mode...no dice.No red light...nothing happens.
My blackberry torch 9800 is out of warranty and my insurance will cost me $150.00 to replace this torch. What happened is that my husband's blackberry torch 9800 went down and would not reboot, can't even get it to reboot by connecting it to the computer. Anyway, yesterday, I took my husband's SIM card out of his phone put it into mine and my phone would not boot up again. I put my SIM card into his phone and still will not boot up completely. I took it into the AT&T service store they can't do anything.
I was installing Fandango and once it was done downloading the phone shuts off to reboot and the screen turns on and the bar at the bottom showing the loading progress was going fine and everything and then it gets to about 3/4 to being done, then it shuts off and starts over and it does the same thing over and over; gets to 3/4 shuts off. I tried pulling the battery and it didn't make a difference. So I tried pulling out the battery and just leaving it sit for awhile, still nothing. Tried charging it, Still nothing. So I tried connecting it to the computer to reset it and restore the OS but it won't connect. I bought it in January, but I didn't get like other Warranty..
My Torch will not boot up. I take the battery out for 30 seconds and when I reinsert it the word Blackberry appears then it goes black and the red lights at the top go on.
I've only had this phone a month and it won't boot up.
Sometimes when I put the battery in it begins to boot up, the freezes and stops. It then intermittently flashes red twice while the battery is in or connected to charger.
Tried connecting to BB Desktop to restore factory settings but can't get it to connect until the device has booted up (whic it won't)...
Im gonna need you to put your thinking caps on for this one!!!!torch 9800I was playing suduko..Put the phone down...came back 10 min later....phone was dark!!!no new apps added recentlyPhone wont boot upi have another 9800, so i have switched batteries and both the batteries boot up my other phone...so its not the batteryI plug the dead one into my desktop...doesnt even know its there...I have followed the threads on starting in safe mode...no dice.No red light...nothing happens.
Torch 9860 one week old. Battery went dead so I hooked up charger. Now phone will not boot up. I get a red LED light on for 10 seconds and off for 8 seconds, repeats. Tried removing battery. Tried booting in safe mode (holding escape key), nothing works.
my 9810 doesnt boot up completely and doesnt connect to my desktopmanager either...it opens up a screen where i see 'blackberry Platform 5.0.0.469'.....and i am using a blackberry 9810 with an os7..
My 9810 has not worked since December; less than two weeks after I purchased it. The phone had a very hard tumble. Since that tumble I have the following issues:1.Phone crashes and goes into a reboothing cycle whenever Bluetooth is turned on. 2. Phone crashes when I attempt to switch from my old Blackberry to it3. The camera no longer works. Says something to the effect of not being able to open or locate viewfinder.I have been told I need a mainboard but I have not being able to locate one. I paid almost $500 for this phone. I could really use some help figuring out what could be the issue and locating replacement parts. I did not buy the phone from the network I use here in Jamaica so they are not willing to help. I am an avid BB fan but is not keen on buying another BB in light of the difficulties I have encountered trying to locate a board. Seems like there are no replacement parts available for this phone anywhere.
My Blackberry 9850 wont turn on, it is stuck at a point wile booting up and it wont pass that spot. Even when i remove the battery it stuck at the exact same point and it wont go any further i dont know what else to do i have done everything that i can do to get it to start up..
Was downloading TV app last night (first time), needed to restart. Red light turns on, then the loading screen comes up, finishes, then freezes before moving on to next screen.I have tried to soft reset, hard reset, connect to desktop manager, searched for help, read posts that will not help.
when I reboot my BB (Torch 9800, OS 6), I always have this message "Uncaught exeption: Application Registry. Get Or Wait For (0x70170be9d2fc292) owner died Thread [Thread-399124480,5]".
My torch 9860 doesn't boot completely anymore and for that reason, I haven't been able to use it for a long time now. The booting bar loads and gets to somewhere near the end and hooks there after which it never moves again! I've left it booting for over a day and it still didn't boot! I've reloaded the OS severally, even done a downgrade to 7.0 but still, no success.
I have never rooted my phone nor have I flashed a custom ROM before. I have a 32 GB HTC One M9 from Verizon on stock Lollipop Android, and it has been working perfectly until this morning. I woke up to my M9 stuck in a bootloop. It would boot to the HTC logo, stay there for about 10 sec, then go black and constantly restart again (even as I type this). I can access the bootloader, but it seems none of the options work for me! I can't boot to recovery mode or even power off my phone. It just constantly boots again by itself.
My BB won't come on - I was using it this morning, it had been fully charged overnight. It swiched itself off and won't come back on - the red light comes on for 20 seconds, it starts to boot up but gets to about 1/5th of the waiting bar before switching off and starting again. I've tried connecting to the computer but the desktop won't recognise it. I've updated to the latest desktop version.
At about 11:30 today I sent an sms text to someone and then I looked at my phone a few minutes later and it had rebooted itself. It did this similarly to what would happen if I had taken out the battery and put it back in and the phone was rebooting itself. The problem is the phone would stay on the screen where it says blackberry in the middle of the screen and has a progress bar down at the bottom. The bar is staying at about 5/8 completed and will not go any further. I have tried taking out the battery and putting it back in and it does the same thing. I hooked it up to the charger and had no success either. I have tried booting the phone in safe mode and that does not help any either. I got the phone in about January and have not had any real problems with it until now.
I just dropped my htc while getting of car, it was like a hole filled with water in it.It just took me about 3 sec to pick it up, but I was too late! ((( I just wipe off the screen took out the cover and off it. But now whenever I on it, it's keeps vibrating and won't boot up.
A family member has given me a 3G to give my daughter. It worked fine (
It was previously jailbroken and I've attempted a full restore to its original settings. Because it was jailbroken, it needed some additional steps - custom firmware - to get it back to its original form.
After doing that, the restore seemed to proceed. Got to the final steps, and then it said "there is no sim card installed in the phone you are attempting to activate". For now I'd like to just use it as an iPod.
I also have her original sim card. Tried to connect to iTunes, and it said that the sim card is invalid. (It is the sim card that was being used in that phone).
Ultimately the goal is to purchase a new sim card, and unlock the phone to switch it over to the carrier she is presently using. But I'd be happy with getting it to run as an iPod for now.
I had expected it to restore fine ... but it's not.
I found my phone died yesterday. I thought it may have drained the battery. I Plugged iPhone in with Wall Charger for 1 hour. It did not turn on by itself.
Then, Kept it on Wall Charger and tried the Reset by holding both Home and Power buttons for 30 sec and the iPhone did not restart.
I tried to restore it, by holding the home button and connecting through iTunes but nothing happened.
I re-installed 2.3.3 after having a few problems and that went ok so I decided that I would root my phone as well. That didn't go so well. My phone will not boot up now.
my friend just bought nokia c7-00 made from korea,it happened that its battery was low and finally the mobile switched off. Then when after long time of charging, when he switched on the phone,it is unable to come to home screen or even asking pin code number for his sim card,it is just displaying NOKIA when he he switch the phone and it keep on displaying it without booting and coming to homescreen.
at first i thought the screen is no longer functioning but when i pull the battery and put it back in it does show the mini clock... it flashes the blackberry logo like it would on normal start up and i can briefly see the loading bar but then it just goes to a solid black screen again...
Plugged Bold 9780 in on Saturday evening to charge, removed from charger on Sunday morningphone was powered up. Left house and got into car and saw that the phone was powered off.Would not power back up. Tried charging phone again, get red light for 10-20 seconds and then light turns off and an image of battery with large red X across it appears on the screen. When I plug the phone into computer, computer detects the phone, but still cannot boot up phone.Took phone to mobile carrier (Rogers mobile, Canada) to have them investigate; have been advised that phone is dead. Suspect they simply want me to shell out for new phone/upgrade rather than help me fix the current phone. Support forum suggests others having similar problems, but the suggested solutions have not remedied the situation
My BB curve 8900 cannot boot up. There is a white screen and clock runs forever. I downloaded an application from Worldmate yesterday, and the handset worked fine. All of sudden, it showed "Cleaning Memory" and ever since it has been showing a white screen with the clock. I even tried removing the battery, the memory card, etc to re-boot, but its not working. I use the Blackberry Desktop Manager ver 5.0.1.
I had my daughter in tears tonight as her Curve 9300 will not boot up. It is out of warranty!! It starts to boot up, then crashes after the loading bar moves about 1:8th along the load bar. I have tried to connect to the Blackberry Desk top software and I have tried to wipe the BB using JL_Cmdr but the phone does not stay on long enough to connect to anything. It is not the battery as I have the same phone and I have put my battery in to test it.
I just got a blackberry curve yesterday. It doesnt boot up. once it trun it on it boots half way and then it stops. how do i get it start working again?
While I was typing a message the phone "crashed". I could only see the tiny "egg timer" spinning...So I removed the battery and left it that way for about 5 minutes. Then I put in the battery again and the phone started booting. After that my provider logo appeared and, as usual, I was asked to enter my pin. I tried and nothing happend. The screen was not reacting at all, I could only use the keys but not the touch-pad.Therefore I removed the battery again and after another 5 minutes I put it back in. And then the red ligth started blinking and the display only shows a battery which is crossed out in red...
