View 1 RepliesI have never rooted my phone nor have I flashed a custom ROM before. I have a 32 GB HTC One M9 from Verizon on stock Lollipop Android, and it has been working perfectly until this morning. I woke up to my M9 stuck in a bootloop. It would boot to the HTC logo, stay there for about 10 sec, then go black and constantly restart again (even as I type this). I can access the bootloader, but it seems none of the options work for me! I can't boot to recovery mode or even power off my phone. It just constantly boots again by itself.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy BB won't come on - I was using it this morning, it had been fully charged overnight. It swiched itself off and won't come back on - the red light comes on for 20 seconds, it starts to boot up but gets to about 1/5th of the waiting bar before switching off and starting again. I've tried connecting to the computer but the desktop won't recognise it. I've updated to the latest desktop version.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAt about 11:30 today I sent an sms text to someone and then I looked at my phone a few minutes later and it had rebooted itself. It did this similarly to what would happen if I had taken out the battery and put it back in and the phone was rebooting itself. The problem is the phone would stay on the screen where it says blackberry in the middle of the screen and has a progress bar down at the bottom. The bar is staying at about 5/8 completed and will not go any further. I have tried taking out the battery and putting it back in and it does the same thing. I hooked it up to the charger and had no success either. I have tried booting the phone in safe mode and that does not help any either. I got the phone in about January and have not had any real problems with it until now.

((( I just wipe off the screen took out the cover and off it. But now whenever I on it, it's keeps vibrating and won't boot up.
View 5 Replies View RelatedA family member has given me a 3G to give my daughter. It worked fine (
It was previously jailbroken and I've attempted a full restore to its original settings. Because it was jailbroken, it needed some additional steps - custom firmware - to get it back to its original form.
After doing that, the restore seemed to proceed. Got to the final steps, and then it said "there is no sim card installed in the phone you are attempting to activate". For now I'd like to just use it as an iPod.
I also have her original sim card. Tried to connect to iTunes, and it said that the sim card is invalid. (It is the sim card that was being used in that phone).
Ultimately the goal is to purchase a new sim card, and unlock the phone to switch it over to the carrier she is presently using. But I'd be happy with getting it to run as an iPod for now.
I had expected it to restore fine ... but it's not.
Any suggestions?
I found my phone died yesterday. I thought it may have drained the battery. I Plugged iPhone in with Wall Charger for 1 hour. It did not turn on by itself.
Then, Kept it on Wall Charger and tried the Reset by holding both Home and Power buttons for 30 sec and the iPhone did not restart.
I tried to restore it, by holding the home button and connecting through iTunes but nothing happened.

I had 40 percent battery remaining and did a pull battery. When I turned it back on, it went to the Blackberry Loading screen then the bar at the bottom fills. It then goes to this screen and hangs. Tried two FULLY CHARGED batteries, same result.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPlugged Bold 9780 in on Saturday evening to charge, removed from charger on Sunday morningphone was powered up. Left house and got into car and saw that the phone was powered off.Would not power back up. Tried charging phone again, get red light for 10-20 seconds and then light turns off and an image of battery with large red X across it appears on the screen. When I plug the phone into computer, computer detects the phone, but still cannot boot up phone.Took phone to mobile carrier (Rogers mobile, Canada) to have them investigate; have been advised that phone is dead. Suspect they simply want me to shell out for new phone/upgrade rather than help me fix the current phone. Support forum suggests others having similar problems, but the suggested solutions have not remedied the situation
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy BB curve 8900 cannot boot up. There is a white screen and clock runs forever. I downloaded an application from Worldmate yesterday, and the handset worked fine. All of sudden, it showed "Cleaning Memory" and ever since it has been showing a white screen with the clock. I even tried removing the battery, the memory card, etc to re-boot, but its not working. I use the Blackberry Desktop Manager ver 5.0.1.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI had my daughter in tears tonight as her Curve 9300 will not boot up. It is out of warranty!! It starts to boot up, then crashes after the loading bar moves about 1:8th along the load bar. I have tried to connect to the Blackberry Desk top software and I have tried to wipe the BB using JL_Cmdr but the phone does not stay on long enough to connect to anything. It is not the battery as I have the same phone and I have put my battery in to test it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhile I was typing a message the phone "crashed". I could only see the tiny "egg timer" spinning...So I removed the battery and left it that way for about 5 minutes. Then I put in the battery again and the phone started booting. After that my provider logo appeared and, as usual, I was asked to enter my pin. I tried and nothing happend. The screen was not reacting at all, I could only use the keys but not the touch-pad.Therefore I removed the battery again and after another 5 minutes I put it back in. And then the red ligth started blinking and the display only shows a battery which is crossed out in red...
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry torch 9800 is out of warranty and my insurance will cost me $150.00 to replace this torch. What happened is that my husband's blackberry torch 9800 went down and would not reboot, can't even get it to reboot by connecting it to the computer. Anyway, yesterday, I took my husband's SIM card out of his phone put it into mine and my phone would not boot up again. I put my SIM card into his phone and still will not boot up completely. I took it into the AT&T service store they can't do anything.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was installing Fandango and once it was done downloading the phone shuts off to reboot and the screen turns on and the bar at the bottom showing the loading progress was going fine and everything and then it gets to about 3/4 to being done, then it shuts off and starts over and it does the same thing over and over; gets to 3/4 shuts off. I tried pulling the battery and it didn't make a difference. So I tried pulling out the battery and just leaving it sit for awhile, still nothing. Tried charging it, Still nothing. So I tried connecting it to the computer to reset it and restore the OS but it won't connect. I bought it in January, but I didn't get like other Warranty..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've only had this phone a month and it won't boot up.
Sometimes when I put the battery in it begins to boot up, the freezes and stops. It then intermittently flashes red twice while the battery is in or connected to charger.
Tried connecting to BB Desktop to restore factory settings but can't get it to connect until the device has booted up (whic it won't)...
My phone seems to have died. It was working fine today, I got a call and then put it in my pocket. When I took it out a few hours later, it was turned off. I then tried to start it but nothing happened. So I tried removing the SIM car and the MicroSD card with no change.Nothing happens, the screen and led stay black, no vibration, no sound, it's off.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been having quite a few problems today with phone, (like bootlooping and then upgrading to a newer android and boot looping) I eventually got it to work and boot without the SD card. But now that I put the card back in and try and boot it just bootloops. Without it however, it boots like usual. I wonder what the problem is?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having serious problems with my S6. The phone crashes, shuts down and reboots over and over again. Right now thee is no way I can boot the phone without freezing. Even in safe mode and recovery mode the phone freezes.
I had these problems before and returned the phone. They 'flashed' the firmware and checked all the harware (no problems). The phone worked properly for two weeks but then all of a sudden the problems were back.
I want to make backups before I return the phone again but that's simply not possible. If that's not possible I prefer erasing everything somehow, without making any backups. I still have my backups from a couple of weeks ago.
I've had my SGS5 for a month now - great phone.
But suddenly today the backlight went out, i pulled the battery, waited a couple of minutes, reinserted it and turned the phone back on.
I can barely see the Samsung logo, it looks like the screen is set to 1% brightness (as close to complete dark as it will go). I hear the boot sound, but it's just to dark/black to do anything from here.
Is my device faulty? I cant enter recovery mode because it's nearly pitch black.
Is there any way to change the boot logo on a storm2?I know its hardcoded, but that never stopped anyone here before I've seen some amazing hacking done by people here in hofo
View 6 Replies View RelatedI got my EVO on Saturday morning and have found something quite annoying... twice now, my phone has gotten stuck on the boot screen and started looping. The first re-start was prompted by a software update. The second, I decided to use the battery up completely and started after charging the battery overnight. I found these instructions on how to hard reset the phone http://www.knowyourcell.com/htc/htc-...tc_evo_4g.html but would like to avoid having to do that as I've spent considerable time configuring the phone to be just as I'd like it.Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you solve the problem?
