Is there any way to get Threaded SMS & Enhanced Gmail options in Messages?
I am forced to have separate inboxes to get the better features in the current setup and there are no shortcuts to get to the MMS & SMS inbox or Enhanced gmail inbox from Messages making it even more of a pain.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI cannot get the Gmail Enhanced Plugin to work on my Tour 9630 w/ Verizon.
My Gmail account sends and receives messages fine, but I can't get any of the extra features included with the plugin. I have tried many different setup procedures but can't seem to get it to work.I've tried deleting my Gmail account from the Verizon BIS website, and then adding it again. That didn't work.
I tried deleting my Gmail account, uninstalling the plugin, resetting my BB, installing the plugin, and re-adding my Gmail account. That also didn't work.If it helps I'm using the v5.0 OS.
i upgraded my bb software to 5.0 with all updates to now and still dont have enhanced threaded sms function. Ive wiped my software, got service books (whatever this means), and reinstalled and re updated the software, still no luck.

View 9 Replies View Relatedif the 9810 and OS7 have the Enhanced Gmail Plugin. I've just come back to BB after a couple of years wandering aimlessly in iOS and Android realms. Glad to be back but I'm jumping to 7 from about 4.6 and I've gone Google Apps since I left.
I understand that I'm going to lose some functionality, but can't seem to get anyone at ATT tech support to tell me if the Enhanced Gmail plugin is part of the device's software or not.
I've set up my Google Apps mail account in both the BB mail client and in the downloaded Gmail client. I get more functionality in the Gmail client, with the ability to download labels. But what I am looking for is to find out if the Enhanced Gmail Plugin will allow me to 'move' an inbox message to a label and that it will automatically remove it from the inbox? This is the only way to come home from a 9810-only equipped business trip and not find hundreds of old, already dealt with messages on your gmail account.
Trying to desperately avoid using the Gmail Enhanced Blackberry plugin, ugh so annoying. I've resent the service books.I see the gmail account normal for a sec, than it reverts to the ghetto enhanced account. Can anyone tell me how to use the normal, non enhanced account? Funny as I have 3 gmail accounts on my Bold 9700, and only suffers from the enhanced plugin.Such an inconvenience.

I setup Gmail successfully through BIS, but the menu features are not available, and the plugin does not show up in Options. Is it available for the 9930, and if so, how do I install it? View 9 Replies View RelatedMy company recently migrated to gmail.I followed the instructions to get the Gmail Enhanced Plug-in on my Bold 9700 and I can't seem to see the new features (ie conversations, labels, archive etc).
All I did was remove the work email and re-add it as per the instructions.I tried it with my personal gmail account and it works, but just for my personal account. The only difference I can see is my work email address does not have a @gmail.com, it uses @mycompanyname.com instead.
Ok, so I've searched and haven't found what I am looking for... if any of you use Gmail with the plugin on your BB maybe you can help.
1- I can recieve/send from my BB but in the Gmail folder on my BB (the envelope with a globe thingy) I only see what I recieve. Is there a way to see everything like with my hotmail, yahoo and BB accounts?
2- How do I set up filters to recieve only personal emails using the BIS website? I entered the add filters and selected not to push emails exception Personal and didn't recieve anything.
am seriously annoyed with the state of my inbox and the threading by subject is the culprit.Have visited every forum and have tried everything that's been posted to no avail.Would very much appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to remove the gmail enhanced email plugin from my 9700.

Until the Android gmail app catches up with the browser based gmail interface (which makes threaded conversations an option), there is a work around. I think the email inbox would be so much more organized if email convos were threaded.
Guess it could be more complicated than sms, but it could definitely be done.

I recently updated the software for my K810i and fully expected to have the "conversations" tab (as per the C905, W995) once it had upgraded. Of course this isn't the case and I still have the regular menu of inbox, drafts, sent etc. and no threaded messages option available.

Issue is I'm not seeing any of my existing / read messages on my phone. After set up I had zero messages in my blackberry email inbox. How do I go about getting these message in my blackberry email?
My Bold has been auto-resetting as soon as I pop the battery in. As soon as I pop the battery in, the white progress bar appears, loads about 1/8 of the way, then auto reboots. This repeats constantly. I don't foresee a way of resolving this without hard setting the device. Unfortunately, I am unable to access any options as the device does not turn on. Is there a physical hard reset button on the device?

I figure I would have to do this in Options, but when I click on Option while I'm in the Inbox, nothing happens - just goes back to the inbox. I've tried resetting my device, pulling the battery, etc. to no avail.

In the message list window I press the Blacberry key, scroll down and select 'options' - the options page pops up for about a second, and then I'm taken back to message list. View 4 Replies View RelatedI had changed in my camera options to "store pictures" on the sd card NOT "in device memory".A few days ago while taking some pics I maxed out the sd card and while trying to back out hit "ok" to something not sure what it was. but it changed the bb setting back to "device memory" and now when I try to change my camera options of "store pictures" back to the sd card it stays in "in device memory" and gives me no other option to use the sd card (which i did clean out some pics for space). It does show a folder where it is storing pics I take though but when I click the trackball to change from device memory it only shows

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.
I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does. Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar.
From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar. I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.
Just got my phone today and everything works fine except for the email. The problem is that I cant see messages newer then 2009.06.14? So i have all my messages except for the new ones?
