BB Device Software :: 9630 Gmail Enhanced Plugin Not Working

I cannot get the Gmail Enhanced Plugin to work on my Tour 9630 w/ Verizon.
My Gmail account sends and receives messages fine, but I can't get any of the extra features included with the plugin. I have tried many different setup procedures but can't seem to get it to work.I've tried deleting my Gmail account from the Verizon BIS website, and then adding it again. That didn't work.
I tried deleting my Gmail account, uninstalling the plugin, resetting my BB, installing the plugin, and re-adding my Gmail account. That also didn't work.If it helps I'm using the v5.0 OS.

I'm on .509 with plugin 2.0.0.25. Does the plugin work on .592 or .610? The one annoying thing about OS 5 has been the lack of enhanced gmail.

if the 9810 and OS7 have the Enhanced Gmail Plugin. I've just come back to BB after a couple of years wandering aimlessly in iOS and Android realms. Glad to be back but I'm jumping to 7 from about 4.6 and I've gone Google Apps since I left.
I understand that I'm going to lose some functionality, but can't seem to get anyone at ATT tech support to tell me if the Enhanced Gmail plugin is part of the device's software or not.
I've set up my Google Apps mail account in both the BB mail client and in the downloaded Gmail client. I get more functionality in the Gmail client, with the ability to download labels. But what I am looking for is to find out if the Enhanced Gmail Plugin will allow me to 'move' an inbox message to a label and that it will automatically remove it from the inbox? This is the only way to come home from a 9810-only equipped business trip and not find hundreds of old, already dealt with messages on your gmail account.

Trying to desperately avoid using the Gmail Enhanced Blackberry plugin, ugh so annoying. I've resent the service books.I see the gmail account normal for a sec, than it reverts to the ghetto enhanced account. Can anyone tell me how to use the normal, non enhanced account? Funny as I have 3 gmail accounts on my Bold 9700, and only suffers from the enhanced plugin.Such an inconvenience.

Just got a 9930 and it doesn't seem to include the Gmail plugin. I setup Gmail successfully through BIS, but the menu features are not available, and the plugin does not show up in Options. Is it available for the 9930, and if so, how do I install it? If not, when will it be released?

am seriously annoyed with the state of my inbox and the threading by subject is the culprit.Have visited every forum and have tried everything that's been posted to no avail.Would very much appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to remove the gmail enhanced email plugin from my 9700.

Is there a way to bypass using the Gmail enhanced plug-in? IE as a POP or just plain old IMAP? the Enhanced plug-in kills my battery big time as it runs all the time. I love the feature but it makes battery life a bit of drain.

Is there any way to get Threaded SMS & Enhanced Gmail options in Messages?
I am forced to have separate inboxes to get the better features in the current setup and there are no shortcuts to get to the MMS & SMS inbox or Enhanced gmail inbox from Messages making it even more of a pain.

So today I had a unrecoverable 552 error and decided to just upgrade Sprint's 5.0 OS. Everything seems to be working fine, except now I'm getting the problem that the enhanced g-mail plugin isn't working correctly. I have it installed, but it doesn't seem to add any options for stars, labels, etc. It's listed in the applications page in the options, so I'm not sure what to do. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it countless times and did a battery pull after each. Does anyone know what may be causing this problem?

When I get an email I like how the blackberry automatically opens up the email application if I pull it out of the holster.The only problem is that it pulls up the Messages inbox and not my gmail account inbox.Any way to fix this or do anything about it? I have the gmail enhanced plugin if that makes a difference.Also on a totally unrelated note is there a way to search the gmail server from the gmail plugin app?

My company recently migrated to gmail.I followed the instructions to get the Gmail Enhanced Plug-in on my Bold 9700 and I can't seem to see the new features (ie conversations, labels, archive etc).
All I did was remove the work email and re-add it as per the instructions.I tried it with my personal gmail account and it works, but just for my personal account. The only difference I can see is my work email address does not have a @gmail.com, it uses @mycompanyname.com instead.

Ok, so I've searched and haven't found what I am looking for... if any of you use Gmail with the plugin on your BB maybe you can help.
1- I can recieve/send from my BB but in the Gmail folder on my BB (the envelope with a globe thingy) I only see what I recieve. Is there a way to see everything like with my hotmail, yahoo and BB accounts?
2- How do I set up filters to recieve only personal emails using the BIS website? I entered the add filters and selected not to push emails exception Personal and didn't recieve anything.

I have read how to find what programs run in the background and how to shut them off to conserve power. I have found out how to uninstall some that I could not shut off or change. Now ... I have one that I do not know if it is supposed run all the time or not. When I do a full reboot or a battery pull the Enhanced Gmail Plugin is NOT running. Once I open it however it will not turn off. It stays running just like BB Msgr or the Msgs program. should it shut down?

I have tried going through the setup wizard and edited my gmail account to syncronize deleted emails over BB and Gmail on PC. And then then to the main menu options, email reconciliation, and then had delete set to handheld and mailbox. Turned it on, gave handheld authority. Next, I have both Messages and the Gmail plug in on the desktop of my Curve 8530, and messages including sms and fb and emails all delete fine in Messages. But once I go to the Gmail plug in, same emails as in Messages but these ones don't delete.

so this may have been asked before but i cannot seem to find any threads on it..probably just searching the wrong terms.so im using gmail on my tour..when doing so and replying to an email, my address is always displayed as opposed to the my name. i.e. John.Doe@gmail.com instead of John Doe in the replies. Also, the header from the email i am responding to is displayed as well. I don't see these on the tour itself, however when i am looking at the email in gmail (on a computer)

Anyone out there with OS 5.0 tried the Gmail Mobile App yet (not Gmail IMAP w/BIS)? The problem the Tour has always had is the notifications for Gmail don't work or if they work when the Gmail Mobile App is first installed, they get lost as soon as the phone is rebooted. Then even uninstalling Gmail and reinstalling it doesn't fix it. If it's working on your Tour with OS 5.0, after a phone restart, do you still have Gmail Messages as a choice under "Profile | Set Ring Tones/Alerts | Other? What typically happens is the "Gmail Messages" doesn't display unter "Other" so you can't change email notifications, LED settings, nothing regarding the Gmail Mobile App.(don't recommend I use Gmail IMAP w/BIS..at least not unless it's October already and RIM has added all the Gmail features that are still missing

I'm using the default functionality in my new Tour 9630 (Sprint) to read my Gmail and Facebook messages, and there appears to be no way to 'mark all as read,' which I need since any changes I make to my Gmail messages (e.g., reading them so they are then marked as read) is not refleted in my Tour.How do I mark all the messages as read?

I have searched back 3 months and can't find an answer. New BB user with the Sprint Tour. Trying to set up gmail. I go to email setup and select gmail. I type in my email address and password and all I get is "Unable to set up xxxxxx@gmail.com Please try Again"
Imap is enabled on Gmail. I don't want to use the gmail app, just want to check my gmail every once in awhile.

I saw last week on Crackberry that some users were seeing their read messages sync properly from gmail onto their BB. Have any Verizon Tour users seen this? Since last week messages I send from the web gmail interface appear on my BB but when I view a message online it doesn't show as read on my BB. Has anyone with Verizon and the Tour gotten this to work properly?

if i delete an email on my handheld it does not delete from my actual gmail account. in fact, it doesnt even say that its read. well, on the computer next to inbox it doesnt say any are new, but when i look at the inbox, i still have the emails and it shows them bolded like they were not read at all. when i delete on my bb, nothing happens to gmail. i tried deleting my gmail address from my phone, resending service books, battery pulls but none of that has resolved. i made sure that handheld wins was set to on under wireless reconciliation and in the VZW BIS control/email settings i have it set to sync deleted emails.
i tried fooling around with the contact sync a few days ago but stopped it becaues it wasnt working (this is the only new thing ive done with my bb in the last week or so). i also downoaded the new socialbeat app from verizon/iskoot. but other than that nothing is new in the last few days. i am running driphters 6.3 on top of whatever OS its supp to be installed on (.484 i think?). dont just jump to that as the problem because i have had it for almost a month and have not had a problem until now (that i tried that stupid contact sync bullsht).

I am new to this device and I had Verizon transfer all 300 of my contacts from my old phone to the tour. When I ran email set up with my gmail account i didn't notice that i checked the contacts box and it deleted all 300 of the contacts I had changed over and left only 20 or so (who i imagine are from my gmail account). I deleted the gmail account from my phone, is there a way to delete the gmail list from my contact list? I go to options and it's the only contact list in my phone and it doesn't give me an option to delete. I even tried re-adding the gmail account to my phone and unchecking the contact list button--to no avail.

I recently installed 5.0 on my tour and i have 2 gmail accounts. One of the gmail accounts, the emails only come in every 30-40 min in a batch; the other account seems to be working fine. Any ideas what could cause this problem. I pulled the battery a few times but still nothing.

I have been getting my emails pushed to my blackberry Tour fine for months. This morning I changed my password on my gmail account and now it will not let me receive messages on my blackberry. I deleted the account through the email settings and tried to re add it and it keeps saying username or password is invalid. It seems very odd to me.

What it says is this.."Provisioning Status".."The network is configuring your device".then it says "Your device could not be registered with the wireless network. contact your wireless service provider",but i can call and receive sms!Any suggestions?
