Our PC shows : software correctly installed and working. Eventhough there appears on the monitor when trying to start the configuration of synchronisation immediately the message: "unknown failure" however without further details. Is it that there may be somebody to inform how to make the system work correctly ?

Unfortunately, I had to downgrade back to 5.0.1 as I could not complete Organizer synchronization - I kept getting an error message saying that an unknown error had occurred. There didn't seem to be any log files I could look at to see what might be causing the problem.

I am new to the community and would appreciate any assistance. I have two recent problems for which I am seeking troubleshooting advice. The priority problem is mentioned first below.I've just encountered this error message, "For help resolving this issue, refer to KB19454 in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Knowledge Base" when attempting to sync my Curve 8320. I use a Mac, and I haven't run into any difficulties syncing since downloading the newer version of the Desktop Manager for Mac in Dec/Jan. I haven't been able to download the latest update though. I did see an early post by someone with the same difficulty, but I was unclear of the question posed, and thus I am hopeful for potential suggestions for resolution.The additional problem I've recently experienced is that I can't compose an SMS/MMS message. I can only reply to someone's message. When I try to simply send one, the screen defaults back to the list of messages. Please Note: I do not have wireless on my phone. I utilize Blackberry Desktop Manager Version 1.0.1 .Please also note that I am not able to access electronic messages daily but will attempt to return any responses/inquires as quickly as possible.

Upgraded my Storm 2 9550 to v5.0.0.1015 and desktop software to v6.0.0.43. Media sync's fine. No sync with any Outlook conduits. I receive an Intellisync "unknow error" dialog box and the sync completely shuts down. Can't change any of the configuration settings as well. Receive the same "unknown error".

It looks like a new message icon, gold and slanted slightly to the right. the number 1 next to it. Right now it is to the left of my regular message icon although I have seen it on the right too. I cleared both of my message lists and the icon is still there. I don't have any messages in facebook or twitter.I don't know how to find out what this icon represents or how to get to its list.

I get this message when I try to send emails from my iPhone. I used to be able to change the sending account and after a few more attempts it would go but now nothing will from any account. The message will mention either my email address of the address I'm sending to and say its being rejected by the server. Anyone know how to fix this?

Ever since we had the phone we have been recieving the message "n:m=1=1" from 10476000000 every 15 minutes and it is real annoying. I took over the phone and did a clean reboot, and changing to my telephone number thinking this message was connected to her email accounts but I am also recieving the same message every 15 min. I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.
Periodically my Curve 3G will display a white screen with the message Connecting to Desktop. This can happen, for example, when I unlock my phone, or connect to a power supply. There is no way of removing the message apart from disconnecting the battery, and then rebooting. The phone cannot be used whilst it is displaying this message.
