View 2 Replies View RelatedI was told by a tele help agent at AT&T that Blackberry Desktop sync software was not able to be used if you are using Windows 7. I find this hard to believe but would really like to quit wasting time finding an answer if Blackberry does not support the new OS.I am also using Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 Premium and cannot get the Blackberry Desktop to sync with Outlook 2010 during set-up.I can't believe Blackberry didn't know a new Outlook was coming out and syncing would be one of those key tasks.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI was able to sync my BB with the old version of OUtlook, and it worked perfectly. recently I upgraded by device software and the desktop manager software, and installed the new Microsoft office 2010. I am not being able to sync anything between my BB and Outlook.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded ACT 2005 to ACT 2010, along with getting a new server and firewall. Once the new server and firewall were up and running, I needed a new user profile on my PC. After doing this, I can no longer sync my Blackberry Tour. Desktop Manager recognizes the device, but every time I hit the sync button I get an "unknown error" message.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI am trying to sync my Yahoo calendar with my Blackberry Bold 9700 via the Blackberry Desktop Manager (version 5.0.1) and am getting the error message "Connection to Yahoo server was lost" when the calendar sync is occurring. The only option on the screen is to press "OK". Once "OK" is pressed, the Blackberry Desktop Manager returns to the synchronization screen. The address book syncs successfully, but the calendar does not. I have tried syncing one way and both ways without success.
A few notes about the environment: I am using the newer version of Yahoo Calendar which I have seen recommended on other postings. I am using standard Yahoo not the small biz version. I have seen this recommended, too.I am connecting my Blackberry Bold 9700 to my laptop via the USB cable that is supplied by Blackberry.
I have a user (I'm their IT support) who has a BB Curve 8350 (?) and when they try to sync to office 2010 (calendar and address book) it lets me configure it in Intellisync but then gives me an "Microsoft Outlook Not Installed" error directly afterwards. Office is very clearly installed because I can open it up and check email etc. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit OS, Office 2010 32 bit and BBDM 6.0.1 B21. Phone is also updated to 5.0.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was hoping one of you fine lads could fix my problem. I currently have a blackberry curve 8320 gold with tmobile. In the past i have used microsoft office to sync my contacts and calendar with my phone but just recently it will not sync my calendar. It only syncs my contacts. Its quite frusturating. Right now I have a Dell vostro 1510 running Windows 7 64 bit with microsoft office 2007.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI upgraded Outlook from 2007 to 2010 about two weeks ago. Since then, I have been unable to sync my BlackBerry 8900 with Outlook. When I try to configure synchronization in Desktop Manager, I get an error message from Microsoft Outlook Connector saying, "No available message stores".
I have spend an enormous amount of time trying to fix this problem. I have read every thread I can find on the topic, and have tried all the suggestions. Nothing has worked.
Does anyone know what "No available message stores" means?Does anyone know what Microsoft Outlook Connector does?Does anyone know where the actual problem lies?Does anyone know how I can get this problem fixed?
My environment:
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Outlook 2010 32-bit
BlackBerry 8900
OS 4.6.1.231
BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0.1.16
Well I have been trying to get this @*** thing working for the last @*## week. My Dell was fried by a power spike. The Blackberry was in my pocket well away from the power spike. My current configuration is:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Acer Aspire 7540
4 GB of Memory 64 Bit Operating System
Blackberry Storm 9530, Platform Version 4.2.0.179, Application Version 5.0.0.419
1. I have installed the latest version of the Desktop Software via downloiad.
2. I spent most of today with tech support from Telus.
3. Neither MSS or MTP will work. We have installed and reinstalled all of the software atleast 3 or 4 times.
4. The Windows troubleshooter knows there is a problem and fails. It says (really helpful). USB Mass Storage Device has a driver problem. It also tries to install the MTP driver and fails. What is strange is that there is some communication going on between the Blackberry and the PC.
5. I can not get anything off the Blackberry (photos etc.).
6. The Blackberry does not work with Outlook 2010.
How can RIM possibly stay competitve when they can not even support the two largest platorms out there (Windows 7 64 bit and Outlook 2010). This is a symptom of massive problems for the future of this company. I can not talk to RIM. They want me to talk to Telus. Telus says there is nothing they can do. I basically have a Blackberry that is little more than a simple phone. If the @#*# thing did not cost so much I would just pitch it and get an iPhone.
When I try to sync my Outlook contacts or calendar, the sync setup wizard fails with "No available message stores". Searching this forum and elsewhere it seems that there are 2 usual ways to solve this:
1) Remove the Outlook Add-Ins, which I done and rebooted.
2) Delete mapi32.dll and run fixmapi.exe which I've done and verified there is a new mapi32.dll in system32.
I've read that people can connect just fine with Outlook 2010 Beta (x32), but I not sure about x64 Windows - Maybe that's the problem. Did I miss another common solution to this or does anyone have anything else I can try?
Does anyone know what this message is trying to say? I have an Outlook profile configured so the MAPI library should be able to find it just fine, but maybe I don't understand what the message is really trying to say.

What to do? How to get basic enterpise option to synchro outlook contact ONLY!!!!!????
Please help this is imposible to be in such a brand with so much problems and no explanation at all.
I've tried to nail down for a long time whether this is possible or not, and I thought I would go to y'all for your feedback. Is it possible to use BIS to synchronize Calendar and Contacts over the air with a Blackberry and Exchange 2010. If so, do you have any reference that might show the proper configuration process.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using DM6 for the last week or so and am very disappointed. It does not seem to remember the last time that I synced or backed up. The only time it remembers is the first time I synced my BB with it. Not such a big issue for syncing, but I like my BB to backup weekly...so once a week has passed after the first sync, it wants to back up every time.
DM 5.0.1 worked flawlessly, but since I am using Outlook 2010, I can't go back.Come on RIM, you can do better than this.Any suggestions on how to get DM to remember when it actually backed up or synced?
I've got a BB9700, Bold 2.At home, Outlook, it syncs happily. At work, with Lotus Notes, it crashed when "updating the devide calendar". There was no issue a few months ago doing exactly the same thing.I'm not sure if it's related, but for some stupid reason I installed Facebook and accidently got the calendar to sync with facebook. I have now removed all entries for the Facebook calendar and al the Service book for Facebook calendar, so it now doesn't appear anywhere.
Facebook is blocked by works firewall, so I therefore assumed that was the problem, hence deleting all my calendar entries associated to Facebook.I've tried syncing with both Bluetooth and the cable.
At work, we use Novell Groupwise. Calendar syncs fine, but BB Desktop Manager crashes when I sync addresses. I can load one-way from the computer to the BB, but not the other way. I may have a corrupt address, but haven't been able to get it all to work. What do I do to stop this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to sync my BB with my desktop software. I was advised the only way i could get music on my BB was to take the memory card out the phone use an adapter to put music on then put the memory card back in BB.
Surely when i connect my BB to my laptop with the desktop software on it, i should be able to see the music and pictures that are on my phone, or should i not??
I have gone into the options menu on the screen and had a look at my memory, and it is telling me "Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is properly inserted, formatted and not corrupted".
I have also made sure that Mass Storage support is on, along with Media Card Support, but i still cant see anything.
