I have just downloaded the new sync software onto my desktop. what was wrong with the old one it worked well. now when i sync my calender comes up with random sync errors with recurring appointments. i have deleted a few of them but it just finds another one. i havent been able to sync the calender the phone since i downloaded the new software.

I reset my device in an attempt to fix, but unfortunately it didn't fix it. At least I had all my music, apps and movies before, now I literally just have a blank phone that wont sync.

Initial sync goes ok. After initial sync, "always on" mail times out and stops working. It does not resync 15 minutes later. A manual sync will retrieve mail. After initial sync, contact changes are no longer synced. Further contact syncs fail. If contact sync is disabled, other syncs work ok. I wish I hadn't bothered doing the update!

Updated to Desktop Manager 6 today following all of the prompts. When I try to configure synchronization by clicking "Configure settings", a dialog comes up that indicates it is "Determining the root configuration name for the main system . . ." and after a few seconds another pops up that says "Intellisync - - Unknown error reported". I have tried to "Reset settings" with no change in the result.
When clicking the sync button I just get a blank page that prompts to re-direct if nothing happens in 10 secs. When choosing the re-direct, nothing happens except the screen goes totally blank.

Kies recently updated firmware on my SII & loaded kies update to PC as well. Now when I sync with outlook 2007 it sets all meeting times to start & finish at the same time on the phone. So apt created in outllook to start say 8am & finish 10am. Sync then puts it in phone calendar but set start AND finish to 8am. I rely on this so really need it fixed.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've updated my BB 8900 OS a couple of days ago. It worked fine for 1 day and then it popped up with an error message that disappaered really quickly and it go into a loop.
I tried to re-install the OS 5 and the app loader recognises the BB and the PIN is showing, but when I click next it get's stuck on "connecting with device (ARM)". The only thing the BB does now is blink its red light like morse code long-fast-fast-fast-long.

I just updated my BB and am now having email issues. It appears the update removed the "redirector" from my computer, so I am not receiving emails to my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I can't find anything on the BB website to help.
