I just ran the software update for my phone and all my email accounts were wiped out. I don't have a set up icon anymore. When I was able to get into set up email, i put in my password and clicked verify and it won't set them up. I know I have the right passwords. What the heck can I do? I NEED my email on my blackberry.

My phone has been acting up since installing the latest iOS 7.1.1. The back lighting for the screen works intermittetly. I have been able to get it to come back on by turning the phone off and back on, but not every time. Once I enabled VoiceOver through Siri and turned ScreenCurtain On and Off. Other times, just clicking the home button and a few times on a notification that would turn the back lighting on. The phone seems to want to respond to turning the back lighting on, but does not do it every time it should. It usually takes 10 - 30 minutes of me working with it to get it to come back on. The phone has not been dropped and is in an Otterbox case.

I recently sent my phone into repair (Blackberry Curve 8250) as it was completely ruined. I took my SD card out as i have soo many photo's, video's and song's on there and didnt want to lose it. But ever since my phone has come back ferom repair, it picks up that i have inserted the SD but once it has read it nothing is saved on there anymore?I have tried formatting it, setting up the SD card onto the phone, more a less everything. But the funny thing is when i put the SD card in to my brothers Blackberry, everything is on the card!

View 9 Replies View RelatedYesterday I purchased my new BB Curve 8520. I was so happy with it until, I ran some new app and it completly froze. I pulled the battery out. Put it back, turned it on and no results. None of my keys are working. If I press alt or shifts it shows on the right upper corner of the screen that they are being activated, but nothing else happens. I've been trying for hours. I tried the old Alt+shift+Del, I took the sim out, the memory card. I left the phone without battery for an hour but no use. And also my speaker icon shows star insted of curves and my Antenna isn't working either.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi bought a blackberry 9360 on Saturday 17th December and it worked fine on that day and then i turned it off and put it back in its box, the next day when i went to turn it on, the screen wasjust completley black but the keypad lights would still be on and the LED light would be flashing red, i could even hear the sound of me getting a new message, i turned it off again and left it for the rest of the day and i turned it on monday and the same has happened, the screen is still black when i turn it on i havent even properly used it yet!

My signal is still coming through but I cannot receive anything. I press any button and still nothing works, it just comes up with the front page! I've been told to do a reset without taking my battery out and I've tried doing that and taking the battery out and nothing has happened. I've even tried looking for a reset button as I've been told there is one but I cannot even find that!

I work in an office setting.There is no possible way it could have been near water.I just want to know how I can fix the keyboard myself. Verizon will not replace it if there is a detection of moisture and I have over a year before I can upgrade to a new phone.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve (8530) from Verizon and within the last 24 hours my phone has gone from being fully functional to not functioning at all. First, my speakerphone stopped working, then I lost all sounds (ringing, alerts, etc) yet the vibrate setting still works, and now my trackpad has frozen to where I can't navigate the phone at all. I can still make calls by typing in the number or using my programmed numbers on the keys and I can still receive calls as well, but if I try and navigate using the trackpad, I can't move off of the sounds icon.About 4 days ago, I downloaded the new OS software when my phone prompted me to and when these problems started happening, I did a "soft" reset (alt+right shift+del) and a "hard" reset (removed the battery) which not solve any of the problems. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas about how I can fix these problems outside of going to the Verizon store and waiting hours to get help?

My T-mobile 8320's trackball has learned the new trick of only working when the phone is in bright light!The symptoms: If the keyboard light is on, the trackball doesn't work. If the keyboard light is off, the trackball works normally. The trackball light never goes off, but stays at least dim even when the screen is blanked and the keyboard light is off. In fact, it is on even when the phone is in the holster.The phone has never been abused, nor experienced water or anything.
I've done the battery pull to no avail, and played with the keyboard/trackball settings and the backlight settings with the same results.T-Mobile says to try a master reset. I'll do that after I figure out what data is on my phone that will need replacing.
I just upgraded to a BlackBerry Curve and was very happy when my Password Keeper just showed up, accepted my old password and had my database. However, the find function no longer works. If I type A, is says no passwords found even though I can see a bunch as soon as I open it. So how does one fix and non-functioning password keeper find function. It is painful trying to get to the ones that start with "Z!"
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've updated my BB 8900 OS a couple of days ago. It worked fine for 1 day and then it popped up with an error message that disappaered really quickly and it go into a loop.
I tried to re-install the OS 5 and the app loader recognises the BB and the PIN is showing, but when I click next it get's stuck on "connecting with device (ARM)". The only thing the BB does now is blink its red light like morse code long-fast-fast-fast-long.
please help...i just updated my BB curve 8900 sofware to 5.0 and after the installing process my keypad lock is not working anymore...i can't find it anywhere on my BB!
