BB Curve :: Can't Play Songs Via Earpiece Which Works?
Sep 1, 2012
Anytime I try to play songs via my media player the song doesn't play via my earpiece which is working but it usually plays via the speakers of the phone. When I try to play via the earpiece it shows the setup icon.
So lately when I sychorinze new songs onto my phone they new ones are all greyed out and won't play. They work fine on iTunes I don't understand what's wrong? Please help!
On a phone call, the earpiece will not work. However, speakerphone will work and earphones will work.It refuses to play media audio, either through the earpiece or the speakerphone. However, it will play through the earphones.
I just updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 5.1. I use iTunes match so my music will sync across my devices. I was playing a playlist on it in my car yesterday via my Griffin iTrip and it was working fine. But then when I disconnected the phone to go to work that playlist won't work now. I've tried deleting the playlist and then recreating it under a different name and NOW some of the songs that were on both playlists won't play. It acts like it's playing, but no sound is coming out. It also is randomly skipping some of the songs.
I have an iPhone 4S. The software on the iPhone is up-to-date (iOS 5.1). My iTunes software (PC) also is up-to-date (10.6.1).I connect the iPhone to the computer. When the iPhone appears in iTunes I choose the option to sync "selected playlists, artists, albums, genres " in the Sync music area.I choose a single playlist. I sync. I then see the playlist under the iPhone (in iTunes). The songs are listed. However, 90% of the songs are grayed out. Only a few songs appear as normal entries. Still in iTunes (but under my iPhone), if I double click on any of those gray entries nothing happens.
Now to the iPhone itself: if I look at the same playlis on the iPhone (iPhone no longer connected to iTunes) I can see all of the songs listed. However, the only songs that will play are the songs that were not grayed out in the list in iTunes
Sony Creative Software's "Media Go" program is able to "see" my Xperia PLAY (as is my operating system), but not Sony Ericsson's PC Companion... Furthermore, other Sony Ericsson handsets work fine with Media Go.In an effort to resolve this, I have tried both of the Xperia PLAY's connectivity modes (Media Transfer Protocol and Mass Storage Mode), un-installed the drivers and PC Companion, re-installing PC Companion and the drivers... All to no avail.
Some of the songs on my device are highlighted red and do not play. I have read somewhere that this happens when the songs name begins with a number but this isn't the case.
I cannot play my songs on iPhone. In trying, I'll choose a song, but another will show up, but will not play. I was told to unsync music purchased and then re-sync. How do I unsync?
Music that is not in my current iTunes will not play, and some are grayed out. Some music that was from my iTunes will work like music from cds, but mp3's wont. What I mean when I say not on my current iTunes, is that I had to switch computers due to mine breaking, so I lost all the music from that itunes and had to switch to a new computer. So the deleting and syncing trick will not work since I don't have the music anymore. Its bull if I seriously cant get my music and have to re-download everything. I thought the music would stay on the phone, even if switching computers. Is there any way to get my music to play again?
I've recently encountered a problem on my iPhone 4S
Essentially a small number of songs I purchased on the device have been duplicated as weird 'phantom' songs that don't play, don't have the artwork attached and have a weird 'stop' symbol next to each song. I cannot swipe to delete these songs on the device. I have removed all the music from the device and iTunes tells me there is precisely 0GB of audio on the device. There is nothing in my download queue on the device. While not a big deal, it's just a bit irritating, as every time I go to play the actual albums on the device, these 'phantom' songs appear in the tracklist, duplicating the actual songs, and halting the playback when it skips to them.
i have downloaded music from iTunes to my macbook pro then syc'd to my ip4 but the phone will not play these songs without internet/wifi and only these songs have a greyed out stop symble net to them ?
ive got all my music files on mass memory and they seem to play fine but when i go to music player, they dont work. any ideas? shall i format mass memory and start again?
I just bought a 9700 a week ago and am already having a small problem! As of yesterday, whenever I open and use my music player and select shuffle and repeat all, the player will only play 2 songs, and then stop- not playing anoter song, and not shuffling to the next song. Furthermore, when I's listening to a song and press the menu button, I see on the menu list, that besides the shuffle and repeat options there is this "{2}" which I assume, means to play only 2 songs.
If anybody could advise me how to get the player back to it's old fab way of shuffling all songs and playing them throughout, rather than just 2 songs then stopping- i'd be eternally grateful
I accidentally deleted songs from my itunes but not from the cloud. Now, the songs are on my iphone 4S with the cloud logo next to them, but the original files no longer exist, so they just sit there. I have since rebought the album, and now the track listing has the unusable tracks and the purchased tracks. I want to get rid of the unusable tracks that I no longer have the original file for.
I have 1GB of music on the memory card and I can listen to the songs individually on my N8, but I don't know how to make the Music Player play all songs, the one after the other.
I like my phone, but recently, when I try to access my music file and every time I play them using Music player. "not enough memory" pops up but I have 20mb free file for my 2 gig memory card and 30mb for the phone memory. I've tried updating the files thur "update music library" but still the same issue. The music can play but i have to go to my memory card just to pick a song and its so much better with the music player application....
I have a brand new Nokia E6 which comes from Germany, however I'm unable to play any songs through a playlist. I have checked the instructions and they all suggest the same, but it seems that my phone does not have the same settings. I am able to create playlists and name them but I cannot add any songs to them - whenever I open a playlist the only songs I have are the pre-installed Nokia songs. I can play songs one by one, from the music folder.
I just bought 9 songs from Amazon music download and added them to my iTunes library. I've done this before and my previous Amazon purchased music has always and still plays fine. After syncing my new music with my iPhone I found I couldn't play these 9 songs (they play fine on my Mac in itunes, just not on my phone). They have the red square in red circle symbol next to them (see screen shot) and when I tap on one to play it just skips to the next song without the red square in red circle.
Info: iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)
This just started with one of the recent updates.. some of the songs that I purchased in iTunes won't play on my iPhone 5s and also have the wrong artwork.Â
I've tried a resetting, manually adding, deleting from phone, iTunes and iCloud... and then re-importing. Nothing works.
