I have a Blackberry Curve 3G on the Telus Mobility network. I recently updated to the new OS 6 but it has been messing with all of my applications and I don't like it. I want to return to the OS 5 but all of the help that I have found applies to PC's and I have a Mac.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry software for the laptop said there was an upgrade of the software (version 5.0 i think) so i installed it...half way through it said there was a problem with the installation.this worried me because it did state on there that if the process was interrupted then it can cause problems and may not be able to use the phone. My phone menu is all over the place now.its gone black and white and i cant find anything on there. I dont know what to do now. Ive tried to go back and remove it but i dont think its possible from my phone because the help ive looked up said that on some phones it may not be possible to remove. because im pulling my hair out now thinking that blackberry have wrecked my phone and i wont be able to use it again.

But i started looking over the internet and saw that the new Curve 9300 might be released as early as august. I wondering should I like ask Virgin if they'll let me upgrade once it comes out since I just bought my phone or just return the phone and wait till the new curve comes out. View 6 Replies View RelatedI've updated my BB 8900 OS a couple of days ago. It worked fine for 1 day and then it popped up with an error message that disappaered really quickly and it go into a loop.
I tried to re-install the OS 5 and the app loader recognises the BB and the PIN is showing, but when I click next it get's stuck on "connecting with device (ARM)". The only thing the BB does now is blink its red light like morse code long-fast-fast-fast-long.
please help...i just updated my BB curve 8900 sofware to 5.0 and after the installing process my keypad lock is not working anymore...i can't find it anywhere on my BB!

I just updated my BB and am now having email issues. It appears the update removed the "redirector" from my computer, so I am not receiving emails to my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I can't find anything on the BB website to help.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince updating my OS the audio files that i often transfer to my curve will crash the phone except for the very bottom file on the "all songs" menu inside the BB music player. It is the strangest thing, and very problematic. I have loaded random music files on and switched priority and it is always the last file on the list that works and everything else above will cause the crash. To help clarify some info. The music files are from an itunes playlist and they are all spoken word that range from 5-7hrs each and i have from 2-4 of them at a time. BB desktop manager is the method of syncing and the method of updating the OS as well.
