BB Curve :: How To Return To The Previous Software

My blackberry software for the laptop said there was an upgrade of the software (version 5.0 i think) so i installed it...half way through it said there was a problem with the installation.this worried me because it did state on there that if the process was interrupted then it can cause problems and may not be able to use the phone. My phone menu is all over the place now.its gone black and white and i cant find anything on there. I dont know what to do now. Ive tried to go back and remove it but i dont think its possible from my phone because the help ive looked up said that on some phones it may not be possible to remove. because im pulling my hair out now thinking that blackberry have wrecked my phone and i wont be able to use it again.

So I just got my first BlackBerry, the Tour 9630 a few days ago. I used my full upgrade with Sprint, plus the mail in rebate. Now I am really, really starting to worry because it seems that in the next few months the TOUR 2 could be released. I am wondering if I will be able to return my Tour and get my money back, and my full upgrade and just wait for the Tour 2 to be released. If I have only had the phone for a few days, you think I will be able to switch to the Tour 2 no problem? I have sprint.

Just got a x2, with swedish as chosen language in the system.I thought that a update of the phone never hurts. To my suprise the choice of swedish is now gone.How can I return to previous settings or update to a language pack containing swedish?

I tried to update my new curve with info from my wifes curve, but all my settings have been replaced with my wifes info, including bbm contacts, contacts, e-mail etc. How do I reset my curve to delete all this info and start fresh like when I took it out of the box yesterday?

I can't seem to make an "enter" in my texts for my 8530. What is the button? The button for the "enter" on the old Curve was the curved arrow on the right, but now, that button is used to actually send out the text. Where is the enter button?

I just purchased my blackberry curve on virgin mobile less than a week ago. But i started looking over the internet and saw that the new Curve 9300 might be released as early as august. I wondering should I like ask Virgin if they'll let me upgrade once it comes out since I just bought my phone or just return the phone and wait till the new curve comes out. Or I was thinking that I use a return the blackberry and use a loaner phone then buy the curve 9300 for the 3 year contract price when it comes out

I updated my OS to 7.1 bundle 2039 I can't seem to go back to previous bundles.I had 3 options on my old system 2G, 2G&3G and 3G. I always set it to 2G and the battery lasted for 3 days. after the update I lost the 2G only option. Now when set on 2G&3G the battery only last 1.25 days.

I bought my Blackberry Curve in the UK where I used Orange Dolphin (phone is not locked) However, I recently moved to Sweden and now my phone wont connect to the internet.
I called the operator and they told me that I am required to delete my old internet profiles in order for them to send me the new ones.

I have a new 8530 used for work. I went into the calendar options on the device and told it to keep calendar appointments forever (learned the hard way from a previous Blackberry) and yet when it syncs the calendar it wants to delete appointments older than sixty days everytime I try to sync.
I've looked all over the boards here for options but so far I think I've done everything anyone suggests. I really hope this isn't just something I have to learn to live with or a price to pay for having a Blackberry.We don't use Enterprise Server yet, so my device syncs by plugging it directly into my computer at work.

I recently inherited a Curve 8530 from a previous employee at my company that still has his email associated with it. The phone has been given a new number w/ data plan, but in order to remove the old email account I need the old email password. The company no longer has contact with said employee, and so I am stuck with a phone that I am unable to use email on until I find a way to remove the old account. Is there any other way of doing this?

I'm new to the BB and purchased an 8330 on ebay. Everythings seems to be fine, except, not all of the pervious owner info was deleted before I got it.. I was able to go into the user info by deleting and adding my own and that worked fine. I was able to activate the phone ok.However, when I set up the email account info for my web mail account, it created an additional account and didn't replace the old owners Gmail account.
I receive my emial fine but when I reply from the phone it goes our through the Gmail and not my webmail account. Both Icons are on the screen and I have set "Hide" and "Show All". If I uncheck "Show All" the Icon disappears. If I recheck the "Show All" it is back so it must still be active in background. (I do this uncheck by opening the Browser Icon.) The old name is still there on that Gmail account.
How do I get rid of this old user info, so it won't haunt me anymore?

I have a second hand blackberry curve. The previous owner thought everything had been cleared but I started receiving his emails the other day. I took the phone into a phone shop and they cleared the phone again but I am still receiving his emails. When you go to email setup the only address/account showing is my email, so I can't just disassociate the phone from his account that way.

My colleague had a blackberry curve 8900 and this was then passed to me as he left the company. My sim works in the phone fine but I am unable to set up my email as it says there is one already set up. Im no longer in contact with my colleague and not sure what to do. Is there any way of renewing this? When I go to email setup it doesnt have the option of create new email.

Does anyone know how to hide the previous messages with your sms messages? My screen has the history of every text message sent between me and the reciepient as if we are in a chat screen. On the curve 8330 all you had to do was go to options-sms-number of previous items and change the setting. Under the help option and in the user manual for the 8530 it says to follow those exact directions but for some reason that option is not available for me when I go to options-sms. I contacted my service provider Verizon and they stated the option isnt available on this model. So why would it be under the help menu on the phone. Can anyone help me I hate to read days and days of text messages between me and another person if I make a mistake and scroll up. All I want to do is see the previous text message in the new text message screen.

I recently ordered a Nokia N97 from three, but did not like it at all, so I am going to return it. However, they say that there must be no photos taken, no downloaded and no texts. The only text I have gotten is My Nokia, which I think it OK. However, I have taken a couple of photo' s with the phone. If I delete them, will they be able to know that I took them? If so, is there any way I can make it so they do not know? Also, I have downloaded an app from Ovi, but using Wi-Fi. I have removed the app, but again, is there any way I can completely remove every trace?I have also updated the firmware to 23.0.0.019. If so, how can I revert back to the old firmware? Please reply Quickly as I have to return tomorrow.

Hey guys so i've had my ATT Nexus one for about 4 days now and I absolutely love the thing. I've a few problems though. First my call quality is apparently pretty bad, I have full 3G ATT service in Pittsburgh and i routinely hear the people i'm talking to say sorry can you repeat that. Also I've been getting texts a few hours after people send them. Finally I'm having a really hard time getting used to the onscreen keyboard.
Now I came from an N85 which obviously had a physical keyboard and the first two issues can easily be blamed on ATT's network. I was wondering if these are common issues however and if they will improve over time, in regard to typing. I assume it will but its been about 4 days now and i'm still no good at all, maybe I really suck with touchscreen typing?

I have recently purchased and updated an Iphone 4s and it will randomly lose the 4g signal to Edge and it won't return even though I live a mile away from a 4g tower....My family (3 of them) all have the Iphone 4 and they never lose their 3g signal--or if they get out of range, it comes back...

I've never had a problem downloading photos from my Storm to my laptop till today, so I set the download to "erase when complete". The videos came over just fine, but all the photos disappeared, leaving only ONE .RE'M file which of course I can't open. I'm sick about it - so many photos of my grandchildren on the carousel.
Can I upload that one .REM back to my Storm and decrypt it?

I am wondering about my upcoming ATT Premier order for an iphone. I plan on ordering it on a new line, then going to ATT and switching sims to my primary line. Now I wonder if when I go into an Apple store in case my phone has any issues, will it matter what line its on or where I bought it from? I have never owned an iPhone so I dont know how the apple store actually works.From what I rememeber, I bought a used iPod Touch a long time ago, and it had issues and I just brought it in and got an exchange. Will it be the same with the iPhone?
