i got my blackberry curve 9300 a week ago .. and it was working fine, and now whenever i hold down the botton on the top off my phone or hold the A botton to make my screen go black ... it goes black for about 3 seconds and then it comes back on and i wont even touch it, btw i've tryed turning it on and off , and taking the battery out.

Everytime i have my torch outside of the holster the screen will never turn off, even if i press the lock button, the screen will go off and then back on in less than a second. this is becoming quite annoying and is draining my battery

I've just changed my track pad and housing on my blackberry curve, but the phone wont stay on. It is loading up but when it gets to the home screen it is telling me turning device off, press any key to abort but even when i press a key it turns off anyway.

My curve is nearly 2 years old so my warranty is over. I replaced the battery 4 months ago b/c my phone wouldn't stay charged for even 1 day. Virgin said they could do nothing for me so I went ahead and just bought a new battery. The same problem has arose but its getting worse each day. The battery symbol shows its at about 80%, I will send one bbm and it will shut off (and not turn back on) until I plug it in. When I do so the battery is at about 20%. I don't even use my phone all day!

This is not new in terms of programming! What is the problem?? Is there a fix for this or am I stuck setting my wallpaper everytime i reset my phone?? C'mon RIM! This is a ridiculous problem that should of been fix before bringing the phone out! same thing for the 5 - 10 sec freeze after you enter your security password to unlock the phone!
