BB Curve :: Connected To Wifi But Can't Stay Connected To Internet
Aug 25, 2012I currently have a curve 9300, and my service provider is Telus Mobility. I am connected to wifi and up till about 3 days ago everything was working fine, now it shows I am connected, but I can only get on internet for about 5 mins, I have to shut off all my connections then reconnect them for it to work again.

Verified with my carrier (MTEL.BG) that I have all necessary data serivices enabled.2. Restarted the handheld a couple of times (battery pull and waited 30 secs).3. Resed to factory settings.Tried to register my device using Host Routing Tables (the table is empty) but nothinh happen.Called Tech support and they attempted to register my devide without success. They said that probably my handheld have a defect and to replace it.Somehow I believe that either my carrier or me are missing something and this must be fixable.

Jun 27, 2011I cannot get any bluetooth headset to stay connected to my phone. I don't have a problem pairing them, just getting them to stay connected long enough to do anything.
I currently have my Nuvi 660 and my motorola H700 headset paired to my phone. Either will connect initially, but then go into a state where they keep disconnecting and reconnecting.
My device is a Blackberry Bold 9650 and is running OS version 6.0 bundle 2333. (I have had this problem since version 4 however.)
I have Bluetooth turned on, and both devices are set to trusted. I do not have both devices running at the same time, so crosstalk is not an issue. Range between the phone ond the device is typically less than 3 or 4 feet with nothing in between them. I've tried about everything I can think of with the options on the devices and the phone and still am having the same issue.

May 7, 2010I have an 8220 pearl flip and until last week my bluetooth worked fine; then it lost connectivity. I've taken the battery out and put it back. I've downloaded the latest software. I've checked bluetooth in manage connections and it stays checked for about three seconds and then disappears. I've tried pairing in settings and it just says bluetooth disabled. I took it to the T-mobile store and they just tried to sell me a new phone. Nothing seems to work.

Mar 31, 2012m y phone doesn't stay connected to the sprint 3g network in a well covered 3g area. and nomatter where i am, if it does connect to 3g, it's extremely slow. i took it to the apple store, and they reinstalled the firmware and os. i also did a sprint service update, but it still didn't work. most times it takes 20 mins to dl an app, and up to 10 mins to load a 1 min video on Internet... i know the sprint service is a little slower than the at&t i'm used to, but this can't be right...

May 21, 2012Since it was new and running iOS 5.0.1, my 4S hasn't wanted to stay connected to wifi. When I enable wifi in the settings menu, it has no problem finding wifi networks, but when it goes to join them, it can take upwards of 45 seconds to actually connect. Once it connects, it functions perfectly fine using wifi up until the phone gets locked. After locking the phone, it loses its wifi connection and will not reconnect on its own, whereas most iPhones will grab the wifi connection again automatically within a second of unlocking the phone. I've tried using this phone on multiple wifi networks, including an unsecured network, a WPA2 network, and multiple public wifi hotspots, so I think I can rule out any router setup issues. I've done a full restore of the phone, I tried resetting the network settings, and I upgraded to iOS 5.1.1, all to no avail. Is there anything else I can try, or is it safe to call that this is a hardware issue that needs to be resolved at the Genius Bar?

Jun 7, 2012i will connect to wifi, and everything will be ok when im on the phone. but when i lock it and set it down for awhile then go to unlock it the 3G is there and not the wifi symbol. i am wanting to know why that is. it hasn't done it before until now. i recenlty restored my phone because of some other issues my phone was having. those issues are fixed as far as i can tell. but this issue has just appeared. i have also been away from home so i am not on my home wifi, i am on my friends wifi. i feel as if my phone doing this that it is killing my battery alot faster then it should.

Sep 1, 2014Whenever I'm at home my wifi in certain areas will randomly cut out. Half the time this happens when I go to wifi in my settings it will say I'm connected but when I try and open something up again the wifi cuts out, the other half of the time it will take a minute to re-find my wifi network. This only happens on my phone, I've been in the exact same places as my friends who also have iPhone 5's or 4's and they never lose the wifi connection. I've tried forgetting the wifi network and resigning in but that doesn't work. I don't think it's the wifi connector I think it's my phone but I don't know how to fix it.

Version 6 has only media sync, and I can not reach the songs in a specific folder on my LT , to copy to my BB. The mass storage support is ON, yet version 6 reach/ see only my BB> Do I have to put those songs in a specific folder in my LT?

Nov 23, 2014I've never had a problem connecting to my home wifi, everything was working fine on Friday, I left the house, went to my girlfriends and my phone connected to her wifi without a problem as usual. I returned home on Saturday and my S5 failed to connect to my wifi, I connected it manually and it connects and disconnects almost instantly. I have 5 other devices including a samsung galaxy note 4 in the house which all work perfectly fine. I've tired switching the router off and on again and that makes no difference, I removed the phone battery for 5 minutes and it then connects to the wifi for about 5-10 seconds then again disconnects, what else I can try....

Apr 17, 2012I have a Droid 4 for my phone, my computer is a desktop running Windows 7 64 bit ultimate. I've tried to connect to MotoCast both wirelessly and with the USB cable. I Uninstalled it and redownloaded it. The part on my computer refuses to stay online, even when I am in MyMotoCast browsing through the files! I have all the settings allowed, it's on a clear port.I gave up and removed my SD card and manually loaded movies and music onto the card, and popped it back into the phone, it was much quicker than waiting on MotoCast's 10 seconds of connect time every time I reset it.
I also find that trying to rearrange a playlist gets buggy after a couple songs. Why is it designed to rewrite the whole 5(ish)kb that is the song to a new location rather than just relink to it? For every OTHER application, a playlist is a series of links that point to your songs. What it is NOT is a physical arrangement of those songs. Why is my phone's playlist a physical arrangement of those songs?
