Recently, my messages stopped delivering to a specific contact on my BBM contact list. They seem unable to reach me either. This has been continuing for about two days, and nothing seems t (battery pulls, etc.).We live in the same city and have been messaging each other with no issues for months using BBM.
View 1 RepliesFor one BBM contact I cannot send BBMs or PIN anymore.When I send a PIN i get the message "service blocked" and a red cross. BBMs will send, I get the tick but no D or R. This is only happening with one contact. He is having problems only with me as well. We can send each other text messages etc. We are both in the UK and with o2.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a bold 9700, software version=6.0 Bundle 2921.I recently downloaded the latest OS update (6 I'm assuming) the day it was released. I went to add a new contact to my phone book yesterday for the first time after I downloaded the update and it does nothing when I click it. I've tried right clicking and adding a new contact, just clicking on the new contact in the phone book. And nothing, if I click it enough it freezes my phone, and when I restart it throws me an exception about the phone book.I've taken out my battery/sim card and still doesn't work. Has to be a bug in the code since its throwing an exception.

It will send iMessages to all my other contacts with iPhones but when I try to message my husband it seems to send as SMS with no option. I used to be able to send him iMessages. How can I turn it back on? I have tried logging out and back in again with my Apple ID and also tried rebooting iPhone but it's still not working.

turned off data roaming.  Only contacted one iphone user by text whilst off wifi. So his messages went and came back by standard SMS text message. Now I'm home, back on 3G wifi etc, iMessage is working fine, except this one contact which my phone now insists on using text SMS only. I can not get him back on iMessage no matter what I do! His iPhone hasn't changed but also insists on sending texts to me as SMS only! Yet all worked fine before I went away!

One of the very handy features on my E63 was the ability to begin entering a contact name when at the standby screen, and a list of matching choices would pop up as I entered the letters. I could then select from the list using the D-pad and make a call, send a message, etc.That function seems to have stopped working, and I can't tell the reason why. Unless I didn't notice the elimination of the feature months ago when I installed the latest firmware (don't think that's the case here), this doesn't appear to be the result of a firmware update, new software install, etc.Any suggestions out there, shy of the royal pain of doing a reset and having to reinstall software and reconfigure/recustomize my phone? View 12 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4 through Sprint. Yesterday I purchased a ringtone through iTunes on the phone, and assigned it to 1 contact. It shows as being assigned to that contact, however, when I get a call from that person, the default ringtone plays. I've since synced with iTunes on the computer, but I can't figure out why the assigned ringtone won't play.

My contacts used to syncronize fine between my Bold 9900 and gmail. Now they don't syncronise at all. I have deleted the SYNC service book and had my carrier push the service book to me again. I have deleted and reconnected my gmail account. Plus rebooted my phone a least a half dozen times.
I was also curious about the frequency for gmail contacts to sync with the blackberry. Is this push based or does it happen every 2 or 6 hours.
i am unable to get contact search to work even after enabling it on the call screen. adaptive search under settings has also been turned on.

With the Curve I could search for items stored in notes and it would display any contact that contained the search criteria. I currently have a BB Bold 9930. When I do the same type of search it doesn't retrieve the contact. I spent a lot of time and energy to store needed information for quick reference and now it is useless.

I am totally furstrated and cant chat with a particular contact on BBM. I have tried reinstalling BBM many times. The contact shows up on my list. As soon as i send a message it says reinvite contact. When i hit reinvite nothing happens. The same happens with the other person when he tries to message me. And the best part is that we are unable to even delete each other. So we cant add again. So its a big mess.
