May 7, 2012My bbm isnt working- as its not sending or receiving messages also it is not updating anything and my emails aren't receiving or sending aswell.

View 3 Repliesi have just changed my BB and transferred all data using desktop manager to my new blackberry curve. My BBM has started wroking, but emails are not working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a user who, around the time of the big RIM outage, lost the ability to receive emails from her work email. At the time I just left it alone since I thought it had to do with the outage. However, she still isn't receiving emails. I've tried to troubleshoot this by re-creating her account but I keep getting authentication failures that get delivered to the users mailbox. She contacted her provider and they were no help. I've also tried setting this up on another phone and run into the same issue. As far as the server itself, there hasn't been any changes at all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy N97 seems to be going downhill fast,problems with facebook and now I can't receive any emails.have removed the widget and deleted all mailboxes and then reinstalled through Settings Wizard but it doesn't seem to be able to connect ...when I go to messaging, select hotmail , select options and connect it sits on "connecting to mailbox" until it finally times out.
Another thing is when I originally set up my email on my new phone my widget showed a different format to what is shown through messaging...I much prefer the original but it also stopped retrieving messages a few weeks back,,all in all my emailing options are a bit of a mess...am I better to do a soft reset?
My Nokia E72 seems to loose the data connection constantly and I manually need to choose "Connect and Send Receive emails" to download my mails. It has worked previously - ie remained connected and I don't recall if anything has changed.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy BB Torch 9800 has stopped being able to use BBM, emails and a couple more apps through my wifi conection. I am in an area where ther is no network signal, so this service is very essential for me. The internet browser on the phone works ok, and some apps work ok (whats app,facebook). I have been onto O2 and they say evertyhing looks fine at their end, and nothing has accidentally been switched off. My wifes phone (BB Storm with T-Mobile) is still working with BBM ok.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have had my BB 9780 for years, when going abroad I use to receive emails and using BBM by WIFI only and this has for years been working without any problems.For some reason this year when going abroad it doesn't work anymore, I have tried several WIFI networks (some even same as I use to be able to use before)I have 2 email addresses, a Hotmail and a company email address.I have no problem using my browser, going to various web-pages - only emails and BBM service is dead ....?I have checked for software updates, and do now have software version 6.0 bundle 2534.

I tried updating my system but i continue to get the same message and can't update or delete my personal(s) email.

Text or emails by themselves with links or just words are fine. Also I tried to set an appointment with an email invitation to others and that also isn't working ever after trying it multiple times.

View 4 Replies View Related9000 Bold with ATT version V4.6.0.304 Platform 4.0.0.247...I get numerous emails to my laptop to; network@etp.us.blackberry.net..The emails say, "This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry Redirector and BackBerry Handheld. Pleae do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the BlackBerry Redirector."
Redirector shows that it is trying to "verify forwarding address" and has 30 some outstanding emails that it is trying to redirect.Biggest problem is that my Outlook cannot send and emails, and there are three outgoing emails that I cannot find that are clogging up the sending. I think that these RIM emails my be the culprit. I had this problem a month ago and it mysteriously cleared up after 7 days.
My emails on my iphone5 (ios7) stopped working yesterday - wont update, send, receive etc. I have tried to delete my email account under settings - but it keeps showing the 'deleting' icon for about 5 minutes before giving up and the account is still there. I have tried switching the phone off and on again and also restored factory settings.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had no emails on my blackberry account for a month now. First I received a message from blackberry to say that I needed to verify my password. I did that but I still can't get my emails. Tried tweeting blackberry but very unhelpful. After asking if my email address was a google or hotmail one (its not, its an Australian telco called optusnet) they said I needed to contact my provider. Issue is that my email is through one telco - optusnet while my mobile account is with another - Vodafone. Which provider am I supposed to contact?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was on the 3 network for 6 months but struggled to get a good signal so i changed to Orange. I rang them up, had the config texts come through to my phone and it was all going great for 3 days. I then put my old SIM card back in the phone to see if i had any texts on my old number. After that i put the Orange SIM back in and now all my email accounts have vanished. When i go to the email wizard it lists my email accounts and says i need to re-enter my passwords to access them. I do and it just says "Sorry unable to continue your session. Please log in again".
I can't get anywhere, i'm stuck in this neverending cycle of being asked for my password the being told i can't continue, i know my passwords are correct because i've checked them.
I cannot log into the email setup page I forgot my username and password for the email setup. This is a new phone and on my old phone I had no problem logging in. Now I cannot log in to my new phone's email setup page, because of a forgotten username. I have entered my username that I have with blackberry and also my screen name and neither one works. How can I retrieve my username so I can finally add my email addresses, please help, I have been trying to log on since yesterday. I dont have blackberry messenger because i dont have the right contract but was wondering if anyone knew how to set up emails?? whenever i got to the email bit it says i need a blackberry enterprise server.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically I can't access my emails - the star/asterisk sign shows up on the menu to show that new messages have come in (and I know they have because I can see them on my laptop) but when I click any of the email icons (the general 'Messages' one, or the two separate email accounts I have) they just take me to text messages rather than email messages.
