I have got myself a blackberry and have been told by t-mobile UK that I am on a BIS account plan. I have set up my gmail email and emails come through nearly instantly. With my work emails I am not getting them instantly. Work does have a BES server and can give me a password to access their server but T-Mobile are using my webmail URL to connect me to the emails.
1) is this correct
2) Can we get rid of the time lag/delay in receiving emails from my work email address so it is more instant?

When I go through the Set-up Wizard, when I get to Email Set-up, it doesn't give me the option to set up personal email. It only has "Set-up work email through Blackberry Enterprise Service" OR "I want to skip email setup."
I have a data package with T-mobile and the Blackberry Internet package too, so not sure what's going on.

Hopefully someone will be able to help me with a problem that I am having. My mum bought an 8520 curve on a pay as you go deal with Orange today and while most thing seem to work ok, we are struggling to get the personal email set-up. I have followed the tutorials and instruction manual but when I go to the set-up option, the only option there is the one to set up a Business Enterprise email, not the personal one.I have been googling around and it seems to be a fairly common thing. Is it just a case of calling Orange and asking them to do something at their end? If so what exactly is it they need to do?Also the MSN and ebay applications that I have downloaded also won't work, I'm assuming that this is down to the same issue?

So a friend of my father's passed on his BB Curve to me after I lost a phone. I'm just realizing it's set for corporate use so I can't set up a personal email or download certain apps I want. I have performed a wipe of the phone already, but all it did was delete the previous owner's information and things, not reset the phone to factory settings. Is there a way to make this phone work for my personal use?
I got a BlackBerry Curve 8520 for Christmas and it won't allow me to set up personal emails, I only have the BlackBerry Enterprise option. I have gone to advanced options and gone to HRT and have sent away for registration as suggested on another page, but I have received no confirmation the message was sent, and I am still unable to access email. Also I cannot down load BlackBerry APS or Facebook. I am an 02 ready to go customer..
I apologize in advance if I sound like a complete **bleep**. I have a blackberry 8520. My wireless router is Dlink and the security level is WPA. I am unsure how to connect my Blackberry to my personal wireless network. I do not have a lot of data available on my phone because I don't want my mom to have to pay more each month(BTW I'm 14 and even though I've had a Blackberry for three yeas I'm not a genius). When I Scan for Networks, my network pops up. When I click it, a message pops up saying," This wireless router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup. To connect using a PIN(which you Blackberry will generate). click next." When I click next it says," Provisioning Wi-Fi Profiles... Enter this PIN into your wireless router:........" and it gives me a time limit. I'm am unsure how to enter this into my router. In addition, is there a way to just manually add the network? If so, for either way, can someone please give me a step by step on what to do.
I bought a 9320 and im trying to set up my personal email but it is not an option. It only gives me the option to set up an enterprise email account which is no good to me.
I wanted to configure my personal email account, but all I get on my BB, when I enter the set up wizard (besides from bluethooth, wifi) is the email set up wizard for a work email account. (whilst, if I look to the help menu online, there you get two possibilities).
I know I have been on this a lot lately, mostly because I was switching Blackberry's.I'm still on my 8320 but for some reason I can't set up my personal yahoo e-mail like it was on my old 8320.I'm kinda bad with directions lol, so if someone could help me and possibly break it down for me, it would be appreciated.
