when i drag my individual music folders in music category of media card--- folders lost their names--they show as "unknown" been driving me crazy for 2 days-i have different categories for my music ( jazz-rock etc) can someone help me?

I know I have been on this a lot lately, mostly because I was switching Blackberry's.I'm still on my 8320 but for some reason I can't set up my personal yahoo e-mail like it was on my old 8320.I'm kinda bad with directions lol, so if someone could help me and possibly break it down for me, it would be appreciated.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have created folders on my media card to store pictures. I can't find them - the folders or the pictures. The only folders I can find seem to be the album art that automatically downloads itself when I add music to my BB 8330. I can't find any of my pictures besides the ones that automatically placed themselves on the camera memory.
How can I make it so the pictures go to a folder on my memory card, completely skipping the camera memory? And then how can I find these individual folders? And THEN how can I stop the album art, which doesn't actually show up but makes its own folder on the BB.
This is becoming very frustrating as I thought I had followed a thread here on Crackberry and obviously have screwed something up. I hope these pictures are still there. I just can't get to them.
I have a blackberry 8520. I started having a problem with my memory card recently. When I connect my phone to my computer I can transfer music and pictures to my memory card. But once I disconnect it, I can't get anything i.e. the music folder is empty as well as the picture folder&video folder. I've formatted my memory card, and redid the process and still its the same problem. Taken my phone apart still the same problem. And I've checked and in my settings it says my memory card is inserted even shows how much space I have left etc. I can't even store any pics I take or see them on my phone I can't even rename them cause it tells me that operation isn't allowed on a read only file. I've checked my settings and its setting is everything must be saved to my memory card even changed the amount or size of pics. Even changed the type of pictures that can be taken from super fine to normal.

I sometimes like to just randomize it all but I DONT like to listen to ringtones mixed in with all the music. View 15 Replies View RelatedIve got several albums on my memory card and I would like to transfer the music to the mass drive on the N97, I have dropped an album into sounds, then gone into the player and pressed the refresh option but unfortunately the album doesnt appear whatsoever.
Is there a certain folder that has to be made or even for the music to go into for the player to recognise it? Ive tried reversing the option and putting the album back onto my memory card, the album has disappeared altogether but still shows up for transferring to other folders.
