I noticed that my music app has two folders titled Unknown albums. In the two folders(one has the artist as dr. mad the other is unknown) there are various system sounds.
View 15 RepliesI have a 2009 Acura TSX w/Tech Package. I'm attempting to play music on my Motorola Atrix HD, but the TSX's bluetooth doesn't detect my phone. When I plug the phone into the USB connector in the center console the TSX still doesn't detect anything.
Does anyone know what I need to do in order to play music on my Atrix HD through the TSX's system?
I selected which folders I wanted to save into my gallery when having my phone plugged in but when I disconnected the photos were all in one folder jumbled?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having a major problem. Ever since upgrading to Android 2.3 (currently 2.3.6) none of my market camera apps are able to silence the shutter noise. This is extremely frustrating and forces me to use the motorola app which offers less control and produces lower quality photos. Any idea how to fix this? It appears to be a problem specifically with the implementation of Android on the Atrix.

I don't want to silence the whole phone, just that annoying sound. Even the ability to change it to something more pleasant would be an improvement. If Blur won't allow this, is there something in the Market that would accomplish the same thing?

I have noticed that the file manager sees hidden folders as well. This is new since the upgrade to Android 2.3.4
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenenever I plug my phone in to my laptop to charge, the folders I created on the phone are immediately emptied. To be clear, the programs stille exist on the phone. It's just that the folders get emptied of nearly all of their contents.
It happens as soon as I plug the phone into the computer with the ethernet cord--it doesn't matter if I transfer any data.
Also, this problem does not happen when I charge the phone via an electrical outlet. It only happens when connecting my phone via the laptop. Recreating the contents of these folders is getting frustrating.
How do you create Folders in the Atrix stock Browser? The Atrix stock Browser is incredibly fast and has some good features, but have not seen a way to add Folders in order to organize Bookmarks.
View 10 Replies View RelatedThe ICS update installed flawlessly and was working without issue until last night. I noticed that my personally assigned ringtones and notifications were suddenly gone. I went through the tedious process of reassigning all the sounds again and all was good, until I plugged the phone into the USB port on my pc to charge. I'm aware the SD card is not identifiable when plugged in, so I thought to move my personalized sound app back to the phone, but after again reassigning the sounds, they get "lost" when I plug the cable into the USB port. This seems to happen randomly, because overnight, my sounds were "lost" and the phone was only plugged in to a wall charger. I Googled and it appears the problem did occur on other phones when they received the ICS update

Turning this thing on / off, or even launching apps (especially games) is impossible to do in any scenario when you can't make any noise since there's no way to be sure it's not going to start making noise.For example ...you're sitting in a meeting, you need to turn on your phone (or reboot or whatever) so you cleverly do so without anyone noticing, but the Atrix rewards you with a power-beep plus notification tones for the internal and SD storage.

I have an issue to sync like 80+ folders from the mailbox and it is about 500 MB. Maybe an issue with the structure of folders ?
I have tried to move one subfolder containing like 30 folders from Mailbox to a root and then back.
if this happened as a result of the system upgrade (to 4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US, Android version 2.3.4), but I surely noticed many contacts on my phone are messed up. Many names, phone numbers, email addresses etc are all mixed up together.

What I'm talking about is to have meeting warning tones and e-mail / text message arrival tones play thru the earpiece. For that matter - why can't we redirect ALL sounds that go to the phone's speaker go to bluetooth???
I have missed more meetings and not responded fast enough to a number of e-mails because of this.
Anybody have a way to make this work? I haven't found anything in the market place that works.

I had this problem a while ago and I was told my motoblur account was inactive. I'm assuming this has happened again somehow? How does this keep happening? I don't have any customization or rooting or anything like that. Obviously I don't want to have to perform a factory reset everytime I want to check for an update.

I have all my music set to availible offline, so it is all stored locally on my phone, but the HDMI entertainment app doesn't detect any music, nor does the motoblur music app. I don't really care about the motoblur music app but how can I get my music recognized by the HDMI entertainment system app (is app the right word for the HDMI entertainment interface?), or is there a new app I can get that will recognize the music synced by google music?

Vibrations sounds can be viewed correctly with the button selection and preview option, however, in Ringtones and Notifications a file list is viewed which is /storage/emulated/0/ . The only other file list possible to view is /storage/extSdCard. No button/preview sound view available. Not possible to navigate from Ringtones and Notifications to the root system files where the default audio files are located: device/system/media/audio

I'm having trouble with some of my albums artwork not showing up on my Atrix's stock music player. I've put the same music files on several other phones with no issues. The music player is working fine, just not showing the album artwork for SOME of the albums (not all of them, though), I've tried deleting the files & re-syncing; I've tried using Motorala's own file transfer software for my computer with no luck. Anybody else had the same problem? If so, is there anything I can do to fix it, or would it be best to download & use a third party music player, which I have concidered?
View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since the ICS update, my gallery likes to not show the pictures that are on my phone. They were visible pre-ICS, but are now not. If I use a file manager I can see that they are still on my phone and even view them, but they refuse to pop up in my gallery. I have tried the unmounting and mounting of my SD card as I have seen people wiht similar problems do, but have had no success.
Is there a new folder that the pictures need to be moved to to be seen by the gallery app? I'm guessing no because they did occassionally show up after the update, but now won't at all. Still, worth asking.
I've had my Atrix for probably about a month and a half now. When I first got it, Google images showed up just fine. I noticed yesterday though that when doing a search, they show up fine until you click on one to look at bigger, and it's blurry. On top of that, half the time it shows part of the picture to the left or right of it as well.

Has Motorola done something to the Motoblur widget that would be preventing these from coming through? Setting the widget to show updates from only that contact/friend doesn't even allow them to come through.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince getting the Atrix2 I have had no software issues or Forced Closes.This evening I woke the phone up, slid the Lock Bar to the right and here is what I get:The process com.motorola.process.system has stopped unexpectedly, Please try again,Force Close.Once I push "Force Close I can get the phone to function, however the same screen keeps coming up at random, also each time i slide the Lock Bar, I get the window or warning immediately.It happens consistently when the screen times out and you use the lock bar, slid to the right, and you instantly get the warning screen.I have also tried a few of the programs and when you access them i get the warning window. Anyone have any ideas as to what exactly is going on? No Downloads done today, just email, plume and some music.Ive done several Power Off/on cycles, It doesnt seem to want to go away?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Atrix generation 1 the day it came out and haven't had this problem so this is throwing me off.What I need fixed:
1. When my phone is connected to the computer via USB, it charges but the computer doesn't recognize anything is connected (tried all 3 USB ports). If the computer doesn't recognize it or something is wrong with the cable/ports - it shouldn't charge, right?
2. On my phones status bar - the USB connection options wont show up. I've tried the USB debugging on/off method but I get nothing. The only time anything connection related shows up on my status bar is when I'm connected via Motorola Portal via wifi. Can't transfer music etc with portal though.What I have:
1. I use windows 7 on my laptop.
2. I already tried the factory reset.
3. I have the latest updates on my phone.
4. I already sent it to motorola and just got it back as a clean slate.
I removed my Facebook account from my Motoblur account listing and tried to add it under other accounts but it does not show up at all and thus no contacts get sync'd or anything though I can still use the facebook app. Do I have to login to facebook under motoblur accounts in order to get the contact syncing?

For example, the new revision to Facebook, Skype, etc. It's not all apps, but many. I am able to go over to Amazon and install the same apps and versions, but I can't do it from the Market. I get the following message on the left hand side of the window.
